Excellent boutique hotel with easy access via metro.  Great value for money for frequent travelers to the city

Great service staff, easy check in and out procedures. Room was clean. Hotel located in a quiet neighborhood with a shopping mall just beside. Supermarket and eateries in the basement of mall.

The location is good. There are metro station (langao road station exit 4), familymart, restaurants, hey tea and coffee manner nearby. Facility is good. I like the fresh smell when I get in to the room and the body wash is also smell good like a baby powder. Staff is very helpful. If I go to Shanghai again I will stay at this hotel again.

This is my second stay at Modena by Fraser Putuo, after the first one with my family in January 2023. It's always impeccable staying at this hotel. Modena will always be my favorite stay in Shanghai! From my first stay, I was annoyed with the location, which is a bit far from attractions by 20 mins (almost always need to change the metro lines). However, after I tried many hotels near East Nanjing Road, I found Modena is the best in terms of 'stay'. The fact that the hotel has perfect services and is located across the metro station, with many restaurants in the metro right now, I think we can forget the distance problem. The room is absolutely nice. I have to say I now dream of having this type of apartment in my real life 😂 The bed, sofa, kitchen, bathroom, there's nothing to complain. Absolutely beautiful and functional. I love the services since I stayed with my parents. Didn't see the bellboy in suit this time, but receptionists and housekeepers are super friendly and are full of service minds. I literally have nothing to complain and I will definitely come back to Modena 💗 Will tell everyone this perfect experience as well!

Nice service apartment. Clean, comfy and spacious. Hotel located 8 mins walk from line 7 LanGao mrt station exit 4 or 5, 4 mrt stops away from line 2 JingAn mrt. A bit out of the busy tourist areas but it is quieter and the room is spacious. There is a supermarket and 2 family marts nearby. Also a 7-11 at the mrt station. Pretty convenient. The loft design is nice but not suitable if you bring younger and older people. If you do perhaps they should sleep at lower level not the loft.

Thank you so much for giving us the nice view rooms. I really impressed with this hotel. I will be back again for sure . Although the locations is a bit far from the shopping area and tourist attraction, but the surroundings of the hotels is quite good, there is a small supermarket, and coffee shop.

Nice big room; awesome service; good location. Subway is very near, all the city center places are reachable by taxi (within 10-20 mins taxi trip)

My trip to Shanghai together with some friends was at the very last minute and as a result, we couldn't find any good hotels located near famous tourist hotspots. But this hotel was convenient for us given the fact that the metro station was located close so travelling was not a problem. We booked the room with 2 double bedrooms since we were 4 people altogether and it was cost effective as well. Surprisingly, the room was well equipped which consisted of a washing machine, a dryer machine, a kitchen area, 2 TVs( one near each bed)and an office table. Unfortunately, the balcony door doesn't fully open for safety reasons but the view is pretty nice from the higher floors. Although the duration period was short lived, we had so much fun together and we would definitely like to go there again in the near future.
