The service over the Christmas period at this hotel was just phenomenal. Nothing was ever too much to ask, every employee was eager and only too happy to attend to our needs. It is so conveniently located to all the attractions too. My fiancé and I will definitely be coming back to this hotel.
JW Marriott Shanghai Fengxian
4.8/51014 Reviews
Fengxian Development Zone
I came to Shanghai Fish in Fengxian with my family and booked a lake view room at Marriott JW Hotel. The whole hotel is built by the lake, and the room has a good view. Fengxian Museum and the popular check-in landscape ”That Year and That Day” are in full view. The JW kitchen has a rich variety of dishes for breakfast, and a bowl of mutton noodles in Fengxian is very distinctive. There seems to be nothing to eat outside the hotel. Dinner and lunch are all chosen at Marriott's Chinese restaurant Yanxuan, which specializes in Cantonese cuisine. For dinner, I chose the Dianping 3-person set meal, which is of very good quality. The beef offal pot, crispy pigeon, and roast goose are all delicious. The portion is more than 3 people, and it is a feast. The restaurant waiters are very enthusiastic and professional. Manager Jack has good service. When checking out, he also reminded Marriott members that there are corresponding discounts for dining. The lake view room is very spacious and the facilities are clean and tidy. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic. Although there was a little episode in parking, the front desk manager Gloria also quickly assisted in solving it. The hotel is very convenient to the surrounding attractions. Yanzi Academy and Jiukeshu Art Center are an 8-minute drive away, and Fengxian Museum, Shanghai Fish Lake Island Park and Pink Muhly Grass Garden are within walking distance.
