JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai at Tomorrow Square Reviews

This is my first time in Shanghai and also my first time staying at a hotel under the Marriott brand. I experienced the feeling of being at home here. The room has a great view and is clean and tidy. The cleaning ladies are also very enthusiastic and quickly deliver whatever they need. What impressed me the most was the staff on the sixth floor. Everyone was very enthusiastic and led me to transfer to the elevator. When I returned to my room, they helped me press the elevator in advance, saving me waiting time. I regret not staying longer this time. If needed next time, I would still prefer hotels under the Marriott brand!

The decor is a little dated - but the location, service, room, and food were all perfect! Would stay again.

Loved this hotel. My favourite in Shanghai so far. The views are spectacular, the room was spacious, and best of all the staff were so friendly and helpful. It’s a really short walk from the grand theatre which is a real advantage. The breakfast was fine, comparable with other hotels, again the friendliness and service were what made it even better. The breakfast room floors could do with a bit of a refurb, but apart from that it was a great stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, which was made even better by the wonderful ‘Aviery’ who had the best English we had encountered during our whole stay in China. All of the staff were English speaking to some degree but Avairy was fluent. I would also like to make mention of ‘Bob’ who made our evening meals more enjoyable, due to his prompt intuitive service. Overall this is a hotel I would return to, perfect for travellers navigating China on their own

Nice stay, the services provided by the housekeeper were excellent! A room with good city view was also given. Yet, the facilities are a bit old.

The service over the Christmas period at this hotel was just phenomenal. Nothing was ever too much to ask, every employee was eager and only too happy to attend to our needs. It is so conveniently located to all the attractions too. My fiancé and I will definitely be coming back to this hotel.

My 2nd visit and the stay is great. Walk distance to many shopping malls and less congestion. Breakfast is as good as my 1st stay.

Good location for central Shanghai, adequately large rooms, as you’d expect..

Lovely stay in such a group location. Breakfast buffet is easily the best I’ve had! The room overall was a little bit old school style, but the bed was super comfy and I had an amazing sleep.

The staff were extremely helpful. The views from the room are lovely and it is the perfect location! Rooms are minimal and clean with everything you need. Worth the stay.

Good location on the Puxi side and easy access to nearby tourist areas. Hotel itself is fine. One of the annoyances of Marriotts in China is that you can't open any of the room windows.

Good location, top service. Comfortable bed, very good views. I would recommend for tourist visits.
