Hotel Review: Holiday in Salzburg We had a delightful stay at Holiday in Salzburg during our trip. The hotel’s location is excellent—easily accessible via public transport, with both the train and bus stations nearby, making it very convenient for travelers. The staff was attentive and present, ensuring that all our needs were taken care of promptly. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor added to the overall positive experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing space to unwind after exploring the city. The amenities offered were sufficient, and everything was in good working order. Overall, our stay was a happy one, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Salzburg. It provided great value for the location and service.

Good hotel, and close to the grocery and some restaurants. Worth it

Great hotel in a quiet area of Salzburg, but walkable to the old town & sightseeing spots. Very near to the train station. Hotel room is small but enough for us. They cleaned the room everyday, which was appreciated. Staff was friendly & helpful

The night staff is very unfriendly to me during I check in hotel. The location is very far from main station .

Everything was fine. We were surprised that room doesn’t have a fridge, but it’s okay. Room is a little bit dark, even when you turn on every lamp. Enough space inside. The bath is good. Everything was clean. Overall 4/5.

Location: I like that bus stops are very near the hotel to go to the popular spots in the city. Far enough from the crowd but not too far from necessities such as supermarket (Billa) and a very good restaurant (Fuxn). Room: I am completely supportive of hotels not supplying disposables. Be prepared to have your own toiletries! Only trouble I had was the curtains in my room 110 didn’t close all the way and the balcony was open to occupants of the neighboring rooms. Had to find lots of ways to keep my room covered! Complimentary bottle of water is per stay, not per day. I see people complaining about the lighting in the rooms, but I think it’s the theme of the hotel and I personally like the style. Cleanliness: very satisfied with the daily housekeeping standards!

It's about 10+mins walk from the main train station, and 15mins walk to the old town. But theres a bus that goes to the airport right outside the hotel. It's a typical holiday inn, only issue with our stay is there is no air-conditioning, and it can be quite hot especially when you can't open the window wide open.

Hotel is 15-20 minutes walk from train station. Room size is acceptable. Breakfast variety is also average. Can order omelette and pancakes. Good selection of tea. Was there during Easter holidays so carrot cake was available for 2 days .

The hotel is a bit far away from the central station in terms of walking. And there is some issues with the shower temperatures. But generally the hotel is clean and comfyz

The hotel is located 1.5 km from the city center and also from the railway station. There are shops nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. The only thing missing is lighting. Floor-to-ceiling windows, which was nice for me. We ordered breakfasts. We liked them. You have to order a hot dish separately. This is an omelet with different fillings or a fried egg. I liked everything. I definitely recommend it. Thank you

Everything was good except that it was a little far from Salzburg Central Station. (You can take a bus from Salzburg Central Station to the front of the hotel, but I'm not used to local buses, so I walked for 20 minutes because I didn't know where the bus stop was.) There was an electric kettle, which is rare for a European hotel, so I was able to drink the cup ramen and miso soup I brought from Japan!
