I used it for two nights and three days until 9/7~9/9. About 1 minute walk from the north exit of JR Sapporo Station. Even if it rains, it is a location where you can check in almost without getting wet. Perhaps because of that, there are many customers even on weekdays. People who wanted to check in were lined up from around noon. Also, the large communal bath on the first basement floor can be used from 15:00, but when I went there around 15:30, it was almost full. (There are only 6 washrooms) The breakfast the next morning was even harder. The breakfast venue is on the 1st floor and the 1st basement floor, but when I went to the 1st floor around 6:25 am, about 10 people were lined up. (Breakfast is 6:30 am ~) Also, the breakfast venue on the 1 floor has a very small space for each person to eat, so I couldn't eat plates from the tray on the table. Many people were lined up, so I ate it in a hurry, so I can't remember what kind of side dish I ate and how it tasted. This congestion continued around 6:50 when I finished eating. I think it's very convenient at the station Chika, but I wanted to relax a little more. Thank you very much, everyone at the hotel staff.

This hotel looks newly renovated. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable to sleep on. It's situated just outside the north gate of Sapporo Station. The location is excellent to and from Sapporo Station, as well as within walking distance to nearby attractions like the Sapporo Clock Tower, TV Tower and Odori Park. There are also many eateries and shops around. There's a Lawson convenience store on the first floor of the building. The front desk staff, Mr Fang, who served us, can speak fluent Mandarin and English besides Japanese. Making communication easy for us. He's very helpful and friendly, helping us to fill up the forms for luggage delivery.

Stayed 3 nights at this lovely hotel that only takes 2mins walk to Sapporo Central Station, which is also a Mega Mall. Plenty to shop and eat! Just alight at Sapporo Station via the green or blue lines using exit 17 (which takes another 5-10mins walk upon exiting the line). Then, turn left and cross a traffic light upon exiting 17 with the hotel on your left! Very efficient check in/out with helpful staff that speaks English; clean room which the size is just fine for 2 adult with 2 big luggage; nice bathroom with a sitting bathtub; love the amenities that are also made available at the lobby; and the free coffee, too. Also, the self-laundry room at the lobby is a saver! Shall return to the hotel again in our next trip to Sapporo and highly recommend this good and affordable boutique hotel!

The hotel is a short walk from Sapporo station. Even in the winter when the roads are snowy, the hotel is easy to walk to and there's a convenience store just half a block away. I stayed here two nights with my wife and two-year old daughter. Check-in process was very standard and I had no complaints. Room was quite comfortable to be in and didn't feel stuffy at all. We didn't make use of any of the facilities nor did we have breakfast there but our overall experience there was A+. There are a couple of restaurants in the front and they seemed to be pretty popular with locals and tourists alike, being pretty much at full capacity every night I was there. The food looked pretty good too. There is a little shop in the lobby that sells a lot of stuff catered to tourists, which was appreciated as it was convenient to buy some snacks and goodies before our trip to the next city.

I super like this hotel on my trip. The reason because the location is good, near to Sapporo station like 5 mins. So no need worry about carry the heavy luggage. And the nearby shopping mall named Sapporo Stellar Place, also come with alots nice foods. Nearby has 7 eleven, opposite has Lawson. So I will not get hungry 😋. Also, with walking distance, can walk to the Odori Park, Sapporo clock tower, Sapporo TV tower and Tanukikoji Shopping Street. So no need to take train. The room quite small space but just fit for two person. And their breakfast quite nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We just checked in the room and found that the air conditioning had something wrong (the hotel has fixed a warm mode, can't change anything) and actually there was no air (warm or cool) coming out. The staff there advised me to open the window. To me, it was unacceptable as it is a hotel, not a guesthouse. We discussed this issue with Front Office Manager and he agreed to refund the money to me. So, I did not stay there.

Staff from hotel gracery 1. Morita 2. Mark faucett Solid hotel with exceptional customer service. Special mention to staff (1) Morita and (2) Mark Faucett for helping us and accommodating to our needs. My son was down with influenza and it is through them we manage to pay a 2nd visit to children hospital that take in foreigners. The first one wasn’t that effective as it is an A&E with no children doc to prescribe controlled ***** for a 4 year old as i was told. My special thanks to the hotel staff and really appreciate their help and support. In all my years of travelling for business and leisure, this is top notch customer service that makes a huge difference to receiving customer and guests. Parking - 2000 yen for 2 days but note extra charges if you exceed 12pm. We pay 800 yen for 2 more hours of parking.

Toyoko Inn Hokkaido Sapporo-eki Kita-guchi

My heartiest gratitude to the entire team at Toyoko Inn Hokkaido Sapporo-eki Kita-guchi During the time of reservation, I had expected a simple 3 star business hotel, however, those expectations were swiftly surpassed as soon as I checked in. Had booked a single room (which from what I read, would be rather small as is the case in Japan), and in my opinion, the room was big enough for a solo traveler. I had one luggage, one cabin bag and a laptop bag, and I felt it was not too cramped for me Only in the bathroom (as a large and slightly tall guy) did I feel cramped. The Toto Washlet system had heated seats, as well as hot water from the bidet which was welcome as Sapporo can get really frosty in December The bed was larger than the usual single sized beds which I am used to, the pillow was soft and comfortable but would I have loved an additional pillow already provided in the room as well Amenities were adequate and breakfast despite a limited selection was extremely tasty (to be honest, I felt it was a very B&B style of home cooked breakfast) Every single member of the staff were friendly and super helpful. As is the case in most of the world, housekeeping is limited (towel changes & trash emptying were provided everyday) Toyoko Inn absolutely surpassed my expectations and will look forward to patronizing your chain when I travel to Japan the next time 東横インさん、本当にありがとうございました

The rooms feel old in some parts, but the number of outlets was sufficient and I was able to spend comfortably without any problems. The front desk was also good. As for breakfast, the Viking form was revived and the number of taste products was perfect. I think it was not clear that only one point was that the vinyl gloves were placed in the box when using the Viking, and that they would always use it. It is understood that it is not possible to always put the person in charge at the entrance due to the problem of the hand, but it is necessary to write it on the paper that the disinfection and the use of vinyl gloves are necessary to install it in the place where it enters the eye I thought it would be good to have. People who travel a lot will have woven that it is essential for vinyl gloves in the corona cherry blossoms, but I think some people do not. Personally, I don't think vinyl gloves are necessary, but ...

Of this 5-day trip, it was only 1 night and 2 days, but I was able to experience it with color 々. 1. First of all, regarding the time of booking, this time, Haneda-New Chitose - Sapporo-Use public transportation. When I asked for a shuttle bus reservation from Sapporo by phone, I said that the reservation was confirmed first, so I made a hotel reservation by airmail (arrived around 14:00) on the web, and when I called (bus: 14:00, 15:00, It was recognized that it departed at 16:00), but now it is full only at 14:00. Therefore, I am tired of the bus stop near the New Chitose-Sapporo-Makomanai-Hotel 3. First of all, I wanted a guide of ”full seat” only at 2 o'clock. 2. Check-in was smooth (travel discounts were not used), but the shuttle bus to Sapporo tomorrow morning was ”full and I couldn't wait for cancellation.” 3. The room (T / W on the 10th floor) was wider than I imagined (reservation of an inexpensive main building) and was easy to use, but the equipment, closet, bath / toilet, etc. were ”quite old” for a few minutes. However, the view is good in the river side room, There was no difference in use. However, I felt that the safety box and costume tray in the closet were placed on the floor, and that they would be considered and equipped in the user's position by attaching shelf boards. 4. I used the bath on the 1st and 16th floors. It's a large hotel that is not ashamed of, and it can be used by a large number of people, but when using it, there were few users, so I was able to spend my time to my heart's content. There are individual differences, but I felt that the hot water temperature was a little low. 5. Meals (evening and breakfast) were lined up at some counters, but I thought it was unavoidable. The variety was diverse, but honestly, I couldn't feel any characteristics now. For example (dinner), a large amount of steak was prepared and it was at the counter, but the arrangement (grilled, served, decorated position, etc.), and (breakfast) seafood bowl (rice, seafood, etc.) was also served by each person. I prepared only rice (normal and small amounts of 2 seeds) in advance, and felt that the flow of people could be smoothly made, so that it would be fun and delicious. There are also many waiters and waitresses, so why not engage in service plus service such as lowering tableware and serving meals? 6. The next morning, I asked the front desk (whether or not the shuttle bus was available), but the same was true. When I had a copy of the time and boarding guide map of the route bus (a Sri Lankan nationality woman in charge), I would like to thank you for your kind and polite response. 7. The checkout was smooth and good. I asked again to use the shuttle bus to Sapporo, but it was completely full and could not be used. 8. When I came to the front door to go to the bus stop, a Sri Lankan woman who asked at the front desk in the morning flew and told the driver of the shuttle bus to Sapporo that had just stopped. Negotiate the possibility of boarding 々 did. As a result, I was able to board the shuttle bus. There were still many vacant seats on the bus 々. No matter how much service bus I felt, I didn't care about the front desk, but I was grateful and impressed by the wonderful response of this woman who flew to the front door! !! !! 9. Therefore, I arrived at Sapporo Station in about 45 minutes, and I was able to save an hour from the route bus and subway, and I was able to go to the next accommodation, Otaru.

4.0/5Very Good

We went during the ski season. Because they were gold members of Starwood, they took the initiative to upgrade the room. We didn't start registering when we arrived, but the staff there arranged the room for us for free as soon as they heard that they were gold members. We are on the 27th floor and can enjoy Hokkaido in the snow. The hotel is the tallest building in that area, so the view is very beautiful. The rooms are quite large by Japanese standards. However, the design in the room looks outdated and needs to be renovated. Although this didn't destroy anything, we felt that everything looked old. The heater in our room was very warm and when we reflected to the front desk, a fan was immediately sent in. Very timely and thoughtful! I don't know if everyone can have breakfast in the lobby (continental breakfast) or more than 30 levels (not sure the exact series, but really high) to choose to eat Japanese or Chinese breakfast. My wife and I chose Japanese style, and what surprised us was the high quality ingredients here. We ate snow crab sauce soup and local fresh fish, and many other side dishes! If the hotel offers a choice, our suggestion is to go to the restaurant on the 30th floor, the scenery is super beautiful, and it gives people an exclusive sense of dignity. I didn't give it a full score because the hotel is not connected to the train station. Coupled with the dizzy, there is no sense of direction, moving the luggage from the train station to the hotel will be a bit difficult, especially in winter. Finally, although the hotel is not in the city, it is very convenient to go to the city and the airport. I think if the hotel provides a shuttle bus to the airport, it may attract more tourists.

We recently stayed at the Grand Mercury in Sapporo and had a generally positive experience. The hotel's location is very strategic, allowing easy access to various attractions in the city. One of the major perks was the free parking, which added significant convenience to our stay. The room size was quite large, providing ample space for our kids to run around, which was a big plus for us. Additionally, the location is pretty quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. While the hotel was fairly clean, it wasn't spotless. I'd give the cleanliness a rating of about 8 out of 10. The service was okay, with many self-service options available, which might suit some guests more than others. Overall, the Grand Mercury is a good choice if you're looking for a convenient location, spacious rooms, and free parking in Sapporo.

A++++ Ryokan. Our entire experience was amazing. The staff was so courteous and helpful. The level of service was top notch. Check in - they sat us down in the lobby, provided slippers, drinks, snacks, while reviewing the amenities of the hotel. Onsen - public onsen was super clean, nice hot mineral water, cold bath, great showers and top notch products - lotion, creams, soaps, towels, etc. In Room Onsen - filled fast, luxurious, room for two. Nice and private for a couple. Food - had breakfast and dinner. Amazing. Dinner was about $100 USD per person. plated exquisitely. Lounge - cocktails and whiskey (many are included in the stay). Bartender was super friendly. 10/10, will do it again.

SappoLodge is a great place to consider for those who want a budget accommodation in Sapporo. The location is in an extremely central location near Susukino, which means you’ll find many good bars, pubs and restaurants nearby. There are also two convenient stores a block away as well. The bedroom and showers are extremely clean. The staff thoroughly clean them everyday. The front desk staff are friendly and super helpful. And most of my fellow guest were all really cool and interesting adventurers who enjoyed various sorts of winter sports. Small reminders to keep in mind: full front desk service is only available in the afternoon and evening. And the shower rooms are not available 24 hours, so no late night showers after midnight. Next time i come to Sapporo i will definitely keep SappoLodge in mind.

It was my second stay, but the room is different, but there is a massage chair, and the room is 12 minutes wide for single stay. The cleanliness of the room is normal. Because it is a clean person, it may be a beautiful person. I borrowed steam iron, but the front desk was saved by bringing it to the room because the hand was blocked. I was happy with hospitality. Breakfast can be selected from Japanese and Western food. It is simple, but it was very grateful that it was free. There is a Family Mart near the hotel and it is very convenient. I would like to use it again when staying around Sapporo Station.

I stayed here for 3 nights with 5 friends. It was about a 10-minute walk from the nearest Sapporo Station, so I think it was within walking distance. There were no convenience stores or shops near the hotel, but there were convenience stores, izakayas, and other shops on the walk from the station to the hotel. I booked a twin room with two double beds, but when we got to the room there was also a single bed so 5 people could sleep there. Check-in and check-out were a little confusing, but I was able to ask a hotel staff member right away using Skype at the unmanned front desk, which was great.

Even though it was the high season, it was super cheap compared to other stores! 2 rooms for 3 people and 1 parking lot for a total of 10,000 yen! Moreover, I got a 2000 yen ticket that can be used in Sapporo city, so it's actually 8000 yen. I am grateful to cut 3000 yen per person. There is a Lawson next door, and there are various shops nearby, so it was a very convenient location. The room is clean and the size is a normal bijiho. The bath was a little narrow, and the air conditioner was an old type that couldn't choose the temperature because it was a ticking type by the bedside, but there was no particular problem. Also, there is no power outlet near the bedside, so if you want to put your mobile phone on the bedside, I think you need a long cord. There is no hairbrush in the room, so if you need one, you can get it at the front desk or bring it in. The hair dryer seemed to be different in each room, but both rooms were Panasonic's (old style) and easy to use. Perhaps because the mattress was expensive, everyone was able to sleep soundly and get rid of their fatigue. I would like to use it again if there is an opportunity!
