We had a wonderful stay at the Maotai International Hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and large. Manager Yang Neng Hong was exceptional, and she helped us order a beautiful birthday cake for our daughter. She even added a personal birthday note! We all enjoyed the wide variety of the breakfast buffet each morning, with both Western and Chinese foods. Would definitely recommend this hotel to international travelers.

Overall it’s good. But I’m disappointed there’s no sale of Feitian Moutai wine at the hotel. You can try different Moutai desserts at the hotel.

Hotel room was a bit old and tired but was clean. The restaurant only have huge tables for groups and that was not convenient for two persons. We came around Chinese new year so most other restaurants nearby was closed. The breakfast was good but did not give takeaway cups to take a coffee to go witch is normal at hotels in that price range.

The next day, he was stuck at the exit. Fortunately, the security guard at the door was reasonable and opened the gate to let him go.

There are a few noisy rooms on 4F, so you need to avoid them. The rest are pretty good, and the price/performance ratio is acceptable.
