The hotels location and facilities are beautiful. There are 3 large swimming pools and a beach and as a result it means there is plenty of room at each location. The food in the 2 restaurants is nice and all the staff are really friendly. Though the price is a little expensive, so would recommend trying a nearby local restaurant (rosemary restaurant is accessible from the Marriott, cheap and has delicious food). The only downside to the stay was the few times we called room service for extra water and towels although promised they would bring the items they never got delivered.

Brand new hotel, two very big swimming pools, however you entirely depend on hotel food because hotel kind of isolated you need boat taxi to go any place else and it costs 150 rm one way per person. If you just stay in the hotel and enjoy amenities of the premise then top choice.

The hardware facilities of the Marriott Hotel are quite satisfactory, but the service is a bit behind. We stayed there for two days in total. On the first day, we had to wait a long time to enter the room when checking in. On the second morning, we rested in the hotel lobby without any water or food. The two houses from 2009 to 2016 must be kept away from each other. They are directly behind the restaurant. The air conditioner and range hood are running 24 hours a day. After closing the balcony door, the room is also very noisy. The balcony is full of smoke. The rooms given by Ctrip are all behind the restaurant. We changed rooms in the last two days. When changing rooms, the hotel had a double check and gave us a room card for 2066, but there were luggage and clothes in the room. After waiting for an hour, we were given an extra room and a free dinner buffet for 3 people as compensation. We had communicated with the hotel before. The air-conditioned speedboat provided by the hotel costs 108 Malaysian ringgits and the regular speedboat costs 35 Malaysian ringgits. After arriving, the air-conditioned speedboat was under maintenance. After communication, the speedboat was charged at half the price. This is the worst trip I've ever experienced. The hotel service is terrible. Our family of five arrived at the hotel pier at 3:30 pm. We waited for 30 minutes before the hotel came to pick us up. The straight-line distance from the pier to the hotel is about 100 meters, because there are several large suitcases. A lady named Hailey at the front desk received us. The front desk was checking in for our family, and it took until 6 o'clock to complete the check-in procedures. They said that there was a problem with the computer, but there was only one room, and the other room was not given to us until 19:30. We told Hailey that we would go back to the room first, but she took us to the restaurant.
