I chose Renaissance Hotel to listen to Zhou Shen's concert. The location is very convenient, the transportation is good, and there are many places to eat nearby. I chose an executive king room with executive benefits, including afternoon tea and light meals in the evening. I had a light meal in the executive lounge at 6 o'clock and then went to the concert, and came back for a midnight snack. The service at Renaissance is very good, the staff is very enthusiastic, the room is clean and tidy, and the gym is also very good. Breakfast has Laoyou noodles and Guilin rice noodles. It is very convenient to have a free shuttle bus to watch the concert, which is much more convenient and faster than taking the subway. When my friends came back and finished the show, they were still crowded in the subway station and queuing for security checks, and I had already arrived at the hotel to have a midnight snack. The manager service manager Zhou these two days sent everyone to the shuttle bus every day, and waited for the shuttle bus to come back at the hotel entrance at night. I gave everyone a warm greeting: You have worked hard today, and rest early.

We had a Business Executive room which was very large with a view of the Yong Jiang river. There was a King bed, 4 waters daily, fridge, 2 sofas, desk, TV, nightstands, good size bathroom with 2 showers and one tub. The TV only had one English station CGTN. The hotel is close to the river walk. The breakfast was excellent, however almost the same every day. Also, it was extremely busy between 7:30 - 9 AM. Housekeeping was excellent. This hotel is not good for English speaking visitors, only chinese speaking. They seem to cater to groups coming for meetings. My wife speaks chinese, otherwise it would be impossible to communicate with the hotel staff. The location is not great, not any good restaurants close. We were there in April and it was 90 degrees and the pool was CLOSED until May, this was very disappointing.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay. Particularly regarding the hotel’s facilities and cleanliness. Several issues that affected my comfort: Cleanliness: The cleanliness of my room and certain common areas was below acceptable standards. The room appeared unclean and the bathroom facilities were not thoroughly cleaned. Breakfast are lesser comparing to my stay last year I believe the room would need some renovation and touchup work. The stay at Marriot has been very comfortable that we decided to extend 1 more night. Service are exceptional especially Arthur and Sally, who had been very helpful. Arrived at the hotel in the morning but Sally helped to arrange a clean room for early check in. Arthur helped to resolve the card and room extension. Will come back again!

Non-smokers please note that this listing includes both smoking and non-smoking variants! We did not notice this as other listings we've seen usually indicate whether the room itself is smoking/non-smoking. Additionally the front desk didn't ask for our preference when we were checking in. We only noticed the stench after we had settled in and were ready to sleep. The room is also equipped with a soundproofing door but we were still woken up by loud noises from the hallway and the room above. Besides these issues the room was generally spacious and bedding was comfortable.

I had a wonderful time at Nanning Hotel! The hotel itself is beautiful, but it is the staff who made my stay. I was fortunate to meet Zhou Yu, the front of house manager, whose excellent English was very helpful. He and the other staff of this hotel went the extra mile to help me enjoy my stay. I thoroughly recommend the hotel!

Walking distance to wuxu airport and bullet train Wifi barely works, hotel shops were closed T3 airport being built and was some noise 24Hrs First 2 rooms smelt of wet carpet from the floods but hotel staff allowed us to choose another room to our satisfaction

Location is about 500m from Nanning Railway Station. Very close the Railway MRT station. Walking distance to malls and pedestrian street. Hotel building is shared by many other tenants. I understand the hotel rooms are from 10th floor upwards.It may not look grand due to ageing structure and slow elevator. The rooms are however, new clean and bright and spacious. Aircon and wifi is excellent. Highly recommend for the price.

The smell of smoke permeates the hotel which is the only thing that bothered me. I requested for non smoking rooms and the staff kindly tried to find rooms with least smell of smoke but unfortunately every time someone starts smoking in another room the smell will waft through the aircon vents even late at night, making the pillow case and bedsheets smell faintly of smoke. Hence the 3 stars for cleanliness. Staff service is excellent and checking in and out was a breeze. Location is also excellent with airport bus drop off right next to the hotel. Despite facing the busy main intersection, soundproofing is great without any traffic noise once windows are shut. Beds are also very comfortable. Perhaps those who are less sensitive to smoke will be alright staying here as it’s great value for the location.
