Location is good and the room is clean and comfortable. I booked this hotel for two nights. The first night was at Jinling Tower and the second night was at Jinling Hotel which is a separate building. The morning after my first stay, I had some business in the city and needed some extra time to move my luggage from the first room to the second. I called the hotel and reached senior receptionist Echo Xu who allowed me to keep my luggage in the room until I returned at 3 PM. Thanks to her and the rest of the staff at Jinling, I had a pleasant trip and a marvelous stay at Jinling!

Nice Hotel in perfect location, getting a bit old and rooms need a upgrade to modern design. Check in was not good. Waited a very long time as at main check in time only one staff at the counter. Only after complaning a secong staff stop playing on his smartphone did checkin. That is not acceptable, long que at check in and staff ignored the que and play all time on his smartphone

As a regular guest at sofitel I continue to have good things to say about sofitel! The room was clean and fresh, electrical appliances in working condition and the water pressure was at reasonable standard. Under this booking I also had midnight snack and breakfast included. Although staff did forget to deliver my midnight snack. Annie at reception was very helpful, friendly and professional. She gifted me with a salted duck gift and a small sofitel branded perfume on check out! Furthermore as a member at sofitels fitness center and swimming pool (as somebody who swims everyday here)I was slightly annoyed with the amount of people in the swimming pool. There are 2 designated sections one larger area for free play and another for those who wish you exercise undisturbed. But today there were children everywhere and the life guard didn't seem to mind that kids were disrupting these clearly set up guidelines. After waiting around an hour for things to calm down I decided to complain to her but she just agreed that it was wrong and did nothing about it... After waiting another half an hour my friend managed to have a swim. I hope more effort is put into training staff around managing people within their designated areas.

It’s a really nice hotel. Very big room and great view. Also the bath tub is very big. The bed is really soft and there’s a selection of pillows with different scents that you can order which is great. There were only two issues. First,The hotel reception staff aren’t very friendly. It felt like being checked in by robots. I kind of expected a better manner from such a good hotel brand. Second, the outdoor pool was closed. It says on the website that the outdoor pool closes if it’s raining. But it didn’t rain. The weather was quite nice. They told us it was closed for technical reasons. I felt a little bit cheated by this as one of the reasons we booked the hotel was for the outdoor pool. No prior notice or message was sent. The indoor pool was open but it was extremely shabby. Felt like a public swimming pool. Overall, I feel like the hotel is tricky and offering a package which they can’t fulfill.

This time I was traveling with the elderly in my family and wanted to arrange a hotel suitable for them. I looked online in advance and the hotel has a large parking lot suitable for self-driving. Before I went there, I was worried about whether it would be because the hotel has been open for a long time and the facilities are older. After I checked in, it was not a hotel at all and the details were very detailed. The soundproofing in the room is very good and the bathroom heating rack and the continuous power card are all details reflected in the service staff. They were also very enthusiastic and even upgraded the room when checking in. During our stay, we made an appointment with the explanation from Inspiration Club. We praise the hotel lady Han for her excellent explanation. We will continue to choose it next time we go to Nanjing.

The hotel is very well located, near almost everything you want to do downtown. However, as it is near everything, get ready to be awake early by either the noise from the street or people in the corridor, as the walls are thin. The hotel's parking lot is big enough so that you will have no trouble parking your car. The receptionists are very kind, even though they do not speak any English. The TV turns on without reason from time to time, so you better unplug it. As you can see from the pictures, the shower is not the most comfortable, yet it is good enough for a solo traveler. The bed is comfortable, and the room's cleanliness is fine.

Very good hotel which we booked last minute but was a wonderful choice. Near enough to walk to metro (10min) and very good noodles and bao stalls just right next to it. There were also supermarts nearby. Plus point is having 2 toilets, each for each room. To improve: not sure why there is a nespresson machine but no capsules. No teaspoons, no utensils. Just 2 little cups.

The hotel is lovely old fashioned type of a grand hotel with a great service and beautiful clean and well equipped room. The view from a large window in our room was spectacular and absolutely worth the price. We skipped the breakfast in the hotel since there is a lot of restaurants in the vicinity and we went for local delicacies, although I checked out the buffet and it seemed delicious and original. A lot of crowd at the pool since it was a holiday season, and the pool was quite small, however it’s clean and has a nice surroundings. Absolutely satisfied and I would choose it again when visiting Nanjing. The city is absolutely worth a visit, very charming and interesting, a lot to do and a lot to see. The only downside is that the traffic is a nightmare but there has to be something. Recommend to check out the Confucius museum for sure, as well as the 1912 street. Great food, great people, beautiful architecture, we’ll be back! ❤️

It’s a 3.5 star hotel…. room is great: clean, view (if you upgrade), balcony, huge bathroom, good bed, furnitures well-maintained. When it comes to culinary, it’s a big disasters: room service menu… no breakfast options, no drink options (except 2 local wines, not even soft drinks or water), no restaurants are having any normal drinks and very tiny food selection. Executive Club no need to pay for… even a airport lounge is doing much better. WaiMai only way to eat at such beautiful venue. It’s really a shame. Hopefully Hilton is reviewing this property and get it back on track. Really beautiful venue. Staff also very nice, just efforts from the General Manager is missing. Will not come back but would recommend for the rooms and view.

A shout out to Alan for checking us in quickly, even though it is a timely process for foreigners. He also upgraded our stay, which was a pleasant surprise! 😁 As for the property, and amenities, it is standard Holiday Inn vibes, though a bit dated and in need of a modern facelift. I would definitely recommend this holiday to friends and travelers to Nanjing.

The staff are very helpful and so kind, we are so grateful they helped us a lot. Perfectly hot water. Toilet with bidet is a plus. comfy room and there is window sitting zone. Comfy bed, clean, spacious room. Nice location, walking distance there's of food, malls, coffee shops. Minus - it's cold in the room, its around 0-6'C when we stayed and hotel lend us extra heater. And it will ne better if they had a lighting above the mirror. Overall, We had a wonderful stay, thank you!

The best hotel I have stayed in my trip to China this December. The rooms are big and spacious and clean. I had the double guest room and it came with a television and a projector TV. We could watch our shows separately in the room as they have cleverly positioned the speakers for the projection behind the bind. There is a big platform near the window, presumably to be in the same mood as the theatre theme. This is perfect for us for our 4 luggage. There are fresh fruits served daily in the room, and amenities are replenished daily. The breakfast has a good variety of selection. There is a laundry room with 2 washers and dryer. The hotel staff are all polite and helpful, even gave my kids free breakfast during our stay. If I have to nickpick at something, it would be that there is around 5 stairs to the lobby of the hotel and not so luggage friendly.

The transportation is very convenient, yet quiet, and the environment is relatively safe. On the day of check-in, the hotel staff upgraded us to a luxury twin room for free. The housekeeper Xiaoyu brought fruits and snacks to the room. The hotel's service was very considerate throughout the entire process, and they also gave us two small gifts (snacks) when checking out. In short, this four-day and three-night trip during the National Day holiday was the most comfortable one for me. I am very grateful to the staff of Yulanting!

I watched a concert at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing. After it was over, I didn’t have time to rush to Nanjing South Railway Station to return to Shanghai, so I searched for a hotel nearby. I took the subway for two stops to Nanjing University of Technology and walked for another 8 minutes to the hotel. Crystal Orange is a chain, and there are basically no problems with the hardware (occasionally some small areas are damaged, which is normal, and it is not a five-star hotel). There are no restaurants around the hotel, and there is a small supermarket downstairs. If you stay temporarily for one night, you only need instant noodles. That’s it. The front desk also upgraded the room type for free, which is more than 400 yuan, which is really good value for money. Also, I didn’t bring a charger, so the front desk helped me find an Apple charging cable, which is very user-friendly.

The train was delayed extensively on the night of the 20th. We originally thought the train would be delayed by an hour around 9 o'clock, but later it was said that it would be delayed by 3 hours and 40 minutes. It was almost midnight, so we decisively refunded the ticket on the first floor south. I had no choice but to drag my two children with me, not wanting them to walk any longer. It was a rainy day again, so I chose the nearby Pudding Hotel on Ctrip. I was surprised to walk through the passage to the left side of the North Square and saw a small red light up to 100 meters away. I saw a special price for a twin room for more than 150 yuan. The beauty at the front desk helped upgrade a 1.5-meter bed and a 1.2-meter single bed. I guess I slept in the family room with a window and sufficient air conditioning. Overall, it was clean and tidy. I used a disposable plant fiber towel to wash my face. The hair dryer was powerful. There was nothing wrong with the bathroom except that it didn't have a shower curtain. Highly cost-effective, the per capita price is just over 50, don’t expect too much, no breakfast, just give the baby some more sleep and instant noodles with sausage. Quite comfortable. There is a supermarket downstairs and a self-service machine in the hotel. Just refund the money and return the card. The next day I bought a ticket departing from Nanjing in the afternoon, and then took the Line 3 Railway 2. I spent 20 yuan to store my luggage and then went shopping and ate at the 4 scenic spots Jiming Si Tai City Wall Xuanwu Lake. The Line 3 subway first went to Liuzhou East Road and then Spend 2 yuan to take the 535 bus to the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge from north to south at the terminal. After all, the best route is the most economical on rainy days + cooling down and dragging the baby. A total of 20+12+4=36 was spent on this half-day tour, plus one meal.
