Holiday Inn Properties in Munich

This business trip felt less satisfying than previous ones. Perhaps it was too busy, with too many guests. The water wasn't very hot, and my colleague's room only had cold water. Breakfast also got more expensive; it costs over 20 euros if purchased separately. On the bright side, the nearby DM and Lidl supermarkets are very convenient, and the Yanyu Chinese restaurant near Harras subway station has delicious food.

The hotel is nicely located near the main square thus it is a plus. On your way back to the hotel, you will be passing by nice international food selection: viet, Italian, Indian and even two Afghani restaurants. Amd if you miss lne of course, you got your kebab shop! The deal breaker for me, the welcoming deamor of the reception staff. A mixed bag, half were smiling and half is long faced. My advice if smiling and welcoming guests isnt for you, one must quit a customer facing job. And the lady that checked us in has refused to add my husband's holiday in loyalty number. Her reasoning, since you booked using a third party, one must not earn the point. Okay but actually another of her colleague is willing to add the details, just in case we spent something in the bar. Why is it points cant be earn... same concept like flights.. they aren't fussy abt you earning yoir miles. You are the same person at the end of the day. Amenities: breakfast is sumptuous and varied selection although similar everyday. However reception here are way friendlier and jolly. Their gym is properly equipped. I am also delighted with their housekeeping, they do their daily rounds and the lobby is freshen up to. Compared to a marriot hotel which uses a robot, we're lobby edges are so filty. So kudos to the housekeeping team! I am happy though that my husband doesnt have a company site in Germany, I will take checking in France/Poland/India and china any day. They are just way welcoming. The attitude just simply put me off, it shouldn't be a German thing as we ate in a German restaurant in the main square, they are nice over there.

The hotel is conveniently located: turn right and walk about 900 meters to U2, or turn left and walk about 800 meters to U3. There's also a DM supermarket nearby. Breakfast was quite generous with a good variety of fruits, and the taste was decent. You'll need to ask the front desk if you need a kettle.

I had a pleasant stay at Holiday Inn, and the staff were professional, friendly, and well trained. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and there are plenty of choices for breakfast. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for a solo traveller. I was able to fully open a 28-inch suitcase on the floor without any issues. The hotel’s cleanliness was excellent, and I especially appreciated the handwritten welcome card on the bed, which made the stay feel more personal and welcoming. All the coffee and drinks provided on the table were complimentary. The shower had strong water pressure, and the water temperature remained stable throughout my stay. If you’re staying for multiple nights, note that housekeeping is only provided upon request (free of charge). The staff will ask for your preference during check-in, which I found to be a thoughtful and environmentally friendly approach. The hotel is not located in the city centre or near Marienplatz, but getting there is easy. Tram No. 19 is just a short walk away, and after six stops, you’ll reach the Old Town. If you prefer taking the S-Bahn, Leuchtenbergring Station is located directly opposite the hotel. However, be aware that the station is only accessible via stairs, so if you’re travelling with large or heavy luggage, this is something to consider. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel for its excellent service, cleanliness, and convenient public transport connections.

Location is great, 10 minites walk to tube station. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. We were given room 221, nice and clean, the only downside was vey noisy during the night. We didn't know where does the noise come from. Sounds like from aircon outside unit or toilet fan downstairs. Recommand this hotel just make sure ask for a quiet room.

Arrived early and pleasant surprise that they allowed us to check in early. Like the simple colourful deco at the lobby and restaurant. There is an open air dining area with fantactic view, colourful autumn trees. Short walk from metro and there are many eateries and supermarkets within short walking distance. Super convenient. Away from city center, quiet and serene surrounding.
