Aloft by Marriott Munich

I'm giving this hotel a perfect score, it's absolutely fantastic! First off, the location is superb – right across from the train station. It's just a short walk, which was incredibly convenient for us since we used Munich as our base to explore surrounding areas by train. After a long day, the last thing you want is to walk far after getting off the train. The hotel cleans daily and provides two bottles of drinking water each day. The rooms are spacious, and all essential amenities are provided. The front desk staff are warm and polite, truly living up to the Marriott brand. I will definitely stay here again!

Excellent value for money! I initially thought it would be noisy being right across from the train station, but it was surprisingly quiet. The front desk staff was super friendly, and I even won a prize – a free drink! The coffee and tea station is available 24/7 for self-service, and you can even take drinks with you. The room layout is fantastic and spacious. For this price and location, the amount of space you get is unbeatable. Plus, it was the only hotel on our trip that provided conditioner. The breakfast lady was a bit fierce, but everything else was great.

Right by Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), super convenient without a car. If you have one, there's underground parking available too.

The hotel is conveniently located opposite the train station, although the area outside can be a bit chaotic with many people. Breakfast offers a good variety. The room is spacious, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. However, the hotel corridors are currently being repainted, and there's a noticeable renovation smell in the air.

This was the worst stay I've ever had. The hotel was under renovation when I checked in. On the evening of July 19th, a large metal panel from the air conditioning vent fell down, almost hitting someone. When I reported it to the front desk, they didn't even bother to ask if anyone was hurt. They just said that no one could deal with it at the moment and if the AC was still working, someone would come to check it tomorrow. I later sent an email to the hotel to complain, but received no response at all. This is the first time I've encountered such hotel management – completely disregarding guests' safety and experience. The service quality of this hotel should be known to everyone considering staying here.

The hotel has a fantastic location, right opposite the station. After taking the train from the airport, you just take the elevator up and the hotel is right there. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic, and there are free apples available in front of the elevators. Next to the hotel is a famous restaurant known for its roasted pork hock. My family was very satisfied with our stay here.
