The staffs serve well and they’re helpful staff. The first night I couldn’t sleep because the air conditioning was too noises, and the second night I could sleep because I switched off the air conditioning. So I suggest that make mosquitoes nets to instead of sealed windows without fresh air, if use the fans to instead of noises air conditioning may be good for both of gusts and hotel(this hotel name is Freeland Hostel) I haven’t been to staying in generator hotel so no opinions for Generator Hotel.

My 10 year old son and I loved everything about this hotel experience. Lester at the bar and Ali and Fabiola at front desk were wonderful (and others whose names I can't remember!). Everyone provided the best service and attention. Restaurant was pricey (typical for the area) but delicious, pool perfect temp and never crowded, and room clean and serviced daily. I just loved the vibe of everyone and their attentiveness. Next door is a great market with tasty deli. Beach is just a block away, and is very quiet at night even though we went during spring break. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and am telling everyone about it!

The second stay, I booked the wrong room in a hurry, and found out after I checked in. The staff was very enthusiastic to help me change the room and have been comforting me. Because I came back late to Miami Beach, after dinner time, I thought I couldn't eat it, but the kitchen left dinner for the late guests, which was very touched.

You can't beat the location - 12th and Collins, within walking distance of amazing restaurants and shopping, not to mention 1 block from the beach just around the corner. The staff was nice and friendly, and I was especially grateful for the stash of sunblock they had behind the desk (my stay was short so I was grateful to be able to borrow a bottle for the day). They also allow you to borrow beach towels. The hotel is no frills but clean with a very charming decor. In this COVID world there was some slight wear and tear, but nothing that would deter me from staying there again. I personally didn't go to Miami to sit around my hotel all day :). There's only 17 rooms or so across two floors and there is no elevator, so be sure to ask for the ground floor if you have an issue with stairs. Also, probably due to staff shortages, there was no one on site at the Impala. If you needed anything, you had to go next door to the Flora where the main desk was (e.g., extra coffee for the machine in the morning, check-in/check-out). But, like I said... we're still in COVID, plus it's a bit off-season. Not sure if it's like that year-round. I enjoyed myself - would stay again. Special shoutout to John and Carlos for their smiles and hospitality :).

Worst hotel experience I've had in my entire life. Please don't stay here, it's not worth it at all! 1. The hotel is right next door to a nightclub that blasts aggressive EDM from 10pm to 7:30am, even on weekdays (I stayed here on a Wednesday). I wore heavy duty earplugs, a pillow over my head, and took sleeping pills, and I still wasn't able to fall asleep due to the thumping music that vibrated the whole room. There is no one at the front desk to help, and no one picks up the hotel phone line after hours. 2. On the rare occasion that someone is at the front desk, they are extremely rude and unhelpful. The morning after the nightmarish stay, I went down to ask the manger (Sam) to change my room due to reason 1. He just shook his head, told me to suck it up because I had already paid for my unrefundable stay, and that there was nothing he could do. He said all the rooms were full. When I showed him that there was still availability when I checked online, he said that those rooms were even louder than my room, so I'll be even more unhappy there. Whenever I offered more solutions, he would interrupt me and shake his head and tell me to suck it up. I almost had a panic attack out of frustration, shock at the poor customer service, and lack of sleep. If I were to collapse, he probably would have just told my corpse to suck it up. 3. The room itself was fine, nothing special, solid 2 or 3 star quality. However when we walked in we were overwhelmed by a strong, chemical-y, lemon smell. I'm guessing this was because the rooms aren't properly cleaned and are instead sprayed with cheap Febreze. The smell gave us a headache, so we had to leave immediately and open the windows while we were gone. When we came back, we tried to turn on the AC but it didn't work. We called the front desk but no one was there at 9pm. We had to just suck it up, as Sam would have said.

2 of us just returned, Fri 8/26, from a 4nt/5day stay @ our fave SoBe Hotel, The Albion!👍👍☺ We were upgraded to a SoBe Jr. King Ste. Rm#317, and it was awesome! Thank you so much GianCarlo once again for your gracious Hospitality & Service as always. Your front desk crew during our stay were all Great as well! Thanks guys!👍👍☺ Our jr.suite looked like new carpet had been recently installed and room freshly painted. The pool view is always awesome to have as well. We still enjoy having the free coffee ☕☕ in the a.m on the mezzanine level before heading to the pool/beach for the day. Location,Service and Cleanliness here keeps us coming back to stay! Also, we like how the lobby always smells nice !! Have noticed that in other FL hotels as well. It's very inviting! Well, until our next visit, hopefully in Dec. Keep Up the Great work!! My family and I had a terrific trip here on ocean drive by the beach. The hotel is very centralized within south beach. It is situated at the beginning of ocean drive and you can enjoy some peace and tranquility before starting to walk down towards the beach and bars. Staff is super sweet. Wish they had a microwave though, but it’s ok. The service was exceptional and Victoria at the front desk is always willing to help with a smile on her face. She speaks many languages and also does a great job with explaining everything. The housekeepers are miracle workers and clean up nicely.

I feel the need to contribute an honest and transparent review. I booked my stay at Greenview - WEEKS PRIOR to falling upon the Tripadvisor reviews for this hotel. I read these overwhelming reviews days before checking in and they had me scared that I was walking myself into a nightmare stay. I decided to make my own mind and stay anyway - and I am glad I did. Upon arrival on a Tuesday morning (10am), the check in staff member was VERY nice and immediately took my bags to hold. March is a busy month in South Beach, so I didn't expect to have a room that early so I planned to do work in the lobby or a coffee shop. This hotel is located right off the Lincoln road mall so I actually decided to post at one of the nearby Starbucks locations. By the time my work was finished it was 2pm and I walked back to the hotel to check on the status of an early check in - and to my surprised my room was ready. I was on second level, #204 - the check in staff ensured I was in a room away from the nearby construction. I held my breath as I walked into my room - and to my great surprise, it was great. The floors are wood, the AC unit was working (blowing cold) and looked fairly new. I don't like cold, so I turned my unit off and didn't need to turn it on the entire stay. The room was like the picture of 2 full beds, same colors on the wall (green/teal). It is a little dim at night - but there was plenty of light and light fixtures to turn on. There was a nice flat screen tv with cable channels. The window was nice and large with a black out blind and sheer curtains. The black out blinds actually caused me to sleep so well the first night I woke up late! The bed is very comfortable, I had plenty of clean linens and pillows. The room was spacious, there was a separate small walk in closet with plenty of shelving, and hanger space as well as a personal safe. The room had a desk, chair and a small fridge. Bathroom was adequate with a spacious step in shower. I had plenty of towels in the bathroom as well as back stocked in the closet. The amenities were premium. Overall the room was clean, spacious, comfortable and equipped. It did not smell - this was my greatest fear from these bad review - as I have an acute sense of smell. I did not have or see any bugs at any time during my stay. Actually, the cleaning staff were ALWAYS working. I woke very early on days to run and so I was in and out the room a lot and I witnessed the cleaning staff constantly cleaning & servicing neighboring rooms. Now was the room and hotel BRAND NEW AND PRISTINE?? There are scratches on the wood flooring, wall paint and furniture - but scratches isn't filth. The tiles in the bathroom aren't brand new - they look to be original to the old construction of the building...but again, cracks and not being new, doesn't mean it's filthy just older.
