I chose this hostel because of its high rating and the lack of negative reviews. I have experience staying in hostels, but this is one I will definitely remember.
The first night was relatively fine, except for the loud music, which personally didn’t bother me much. However, the room itself was not clean — there was dust and trash under the bed. The floor mat in the bathroom was dirty and wet, and it was not replaced during my two-day stay.
The air conditioning was extremely strong, making the room very cold, even though it was stated that the temperature could not be adjusted.
On the second night, around 11 PM, security staff suddenly entered the room to check if there were any men. This was unexpected and quite uncomfortable, especially since I was already asleep — it really scared me.
After that, there was a strange burning smell in the room. Some of the girls woke up, and we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. It might have been the air conditioner — when we turned it off, the smell disappeared.
When I checked in, I was given a towel and a very wrinkled bedsheet that looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned.
I understand that this is budget accommodation, but I honestly don’t understand why it has such a high rating.
If you just need a place to sleep and are ready to accept these conditions, it might work for you. But if you expect a calm and comfortable stay, this is probably not the best choice.
Pros: comfortable bed, close to the beach, and a supermarket nearby.
Overall rating: 6/10.
