Fantastic experience. Fabulous food and modestly priced, friendly staff. Rooms and exterior of the property, although great, could be so much better with a coat of paint and minor plumbing issues resolved in addition to removing stains from the outdoor cushions. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Great location. We also hired the houseboat and that was the highlight of our trip. Food provided was fit for a king and we had our own personal chef with 3 other people waiting on us! A must do for all guests.

Wow, this hotel is something very special. The kindness and friendliness of the staff is something else and we loved every moment of our stay here. We had several experiences with the resident naturalist both in the butterfly garden (wonderful) and walking round the huge estate spotting owls (amazing). The activities manager Anushka is wonderful and made our stay extra special. We didn't swim in the sea but there is a resident lifeguard there which meant that we would have felt very safe doing so. The beach is miles long and we had a lovely walk ***** it spotting birds and looking for shells. We had a room with a pool which we recommend - it was set in the most beautiful private garden and we spent most of our day there. We cannot recommend the hotel enough for a fabulous, end-of-Kerala, relaxing stay.

We had two nights stay at picturesque ILLKKALAM LAKESIDE COTTAGE right on the banks of the lake and were. pleasantly surprised as the nature unfolded before us. Good location with good facilities and access to all amenities surrounded by organic farm , nature at its best. Good service through out and personalised care by friendly staff. Freshly cooked homemade tasty food served to your room and relax in front of the room looking over the lake with boats passing by and beautiful sunset views. The best part was the relaxed private sunset boat ride on the lake for two of us with stunning views starting right in front of our cottage. Susan Salin and team have done a wonderful job in making avail of this wonderful property for fortunate few like us. Special thanks to Asha and Arjun who were always helpful and giving us information of local tours and cultures. A special mention goes to Mr. Vishnu at the swimming pool, who made our experience even more memorable. His warm hospitality, engaging conversations, and attentive service ensured that my family and I had a fantastic time in and around the pool. Location and view is marvelous. I would highly recommend this place if you want to relax and enjoy good food. Boating ride we took the package from the hotel and it was very reasonable for full 2 hours of ride over backwaters and it was awesome. Staff is very friendly and prompt.

Rhythm, kumarakom is a very homely and beautiful resort. Its pool is huge and very well maintained. Entire staff of rhythm, kumarkom is very polite and efficient. They always carry smiles on their face whenever you come across any one of them. I would like to mention mrs. Sheryl (hope i have spelled her name correctly) in vembanad restaurant ***** with their entire kitchen n serving staff have been excellent. Overall our experience has been wonderful. Food is very tasty. We tried almost everything from their menu in our 6 nights stay. Cuisine from south to north to continental to italian, all dishes were well prepared. I would give 5 stars here for entire experience and food, service. Talking about room, their pool side cottages are excellent. Very clean and well maintained. Their house keeping staff is very efficient and prompt. I would give 5 stars to them as well. Thank you!

The location of the property is right at kumaranaloor town which makes food and commodities available easily mc donald's is also there nearby. The staffs here are very friendly. Rooms are also higenic expecially washroom. Overall good stay

We stayed at the hotel for a day. We had taken four rooms and even though the trip was on a short notice, the staff was courteous enough to arrange the rooms within a short notice. The food was also nice . The staff are also highly helpful. The hotel is situated in the heart of Kottayam town. I would recommend this hotel anytime.
