HOTEL Meriken Port Kobe Motomachi

Standard nice 3 star hotel located just off the noisy area in a quiet street. Location and cleanliness are decent as expected, but many amenities such as green tea, shower cap and pillows (only 1 per bed) are missing. The room and toilet are a little small and dark as the lighting is all yellow with limited options. The staff are friendly and helpful.

It's ok, the service counter is very nice, and the distance from the hotel is acceptable. The price is cheap when I go in peak season. Recommended for those who want to save money in Kobe.

Very good homestay, catching up with the Christmas party during the stay, the cost of a person 2,000 yen is acceptable, it is very interesting to eat and chat with everyone, and finally have a cheese cake to reward. The owner of the hotel is very kind, the location is in Chinatown, there are too many delicious nearby, ask the people of the hotel, they will recommend the store worth going to, walk to Damaru various drugstores are very close, walk to Kobe Port Tower for about 20 minutes, you can walk, the location is excellent. The facilities in the homestay are very good, and the muji water milk cotton pad can be used in the bath. Very good homestay, I will choose here next time I come to Kobe 👍.

1 months ago, the hotel in Kanazawa was good, so I stayed here for a while before the opening. It was a little rainy, but I was moving in the arcade, so I was almost wet. Arrived without the view from the room, so the surrounding hotels and buildings are assumed. The room is clean and the bathroom is separate. The breakfast was delicious. I thought again, but the size of the tissue box is easy to use. The small type of square has been hard to get, so it's good to recur. Look, I knew there was only a disposable slipper, so this time I checked in and I gave you an additional reason. I'm sorry.

Stayed a couple of nights in this Hotel on our recent trip to Japan and it was the best of the lot. From the moment you are greeted at reception on the 17th Floor the service you get is excellent at this hotel. The room was a good size and the 3 of us had enough room. It was very clean with a great bathroom and a wonderfully powerful shower. The supplied cotton pyjamas were so good we ended up buying a set to take away. The breakfast was very good, a standard buffet with Japanese items available as well. Plus its the only breakfast I've had where sparkling wine was available. The terrace bar is also based on the 17th floor and has a great view of the city and a good selection of Japanese whiskeys and cocktails. We had dinner one night at the steakhouse which served us with the best Wagyu beef we had in Japan. If we are in Kobe again we will stay in this hotel. The staff were very attentive and always did their best to please us and the quality of the accommodation and the food was excellent.

This is my favorite hotel when i need to stay in Kobe Sannomiya a few days. Impeccably clean, fairly large rooms with comfortable big king-size bed. My favorite part is the hotel's public bath, incl. sauna, ofuro, cold plunge bath, it's my highlight every morning and evening.
