10 mins from railway station by bus number 11. It’s closed to the buzzing square and 10 mins by taxi to Jiayuguan pass. Capsule room is nice. It allows you some privacies at sleeping

Basic hostel located in central Jiayuguan and not too far from the train station (Jiayuguan station). I had no issues with the hostel. As others has pointed out smoking is allowed which may bother some guests.

There are many restaurants around and the bus stop is a short walk. Easy to catch a taxi. Staff is helpful despite our language barriers, we managed to communicate with translator apps. Hostel is relatively clean but can be improved and more organized. For example, the faucets and mirrors need to be cleaned more thoroughly. There aren’t toilet tissues.

This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel and I was really curious to try it out. The concept is cool and it's definitely good for privacy, but there wasn't enough airflow even with the air con set to maximum and I had to leave the door open to not cook inside. That may just have been an issue with mine though as other guests seemed okay. They also have dorms with normal bunks. It's easy to find from the location on Trip.

Helpful woman at the front desk, helped us arrange a car for the day.
The room we booked was under construction and we were put into a dorm room. The window couldn’t close but luckily there were many blankets to keep us warm. The beds were super hard, and bedding smelt like smoke. Bring your own toilet paper, towels and toiletries.
If you are just looking for a place to sleep, and have loads of toiletries provided, then why not stay here. It was just okay.

This stay was awful. It is basically a migrant worker guesthouse. Everyone smokes inside, including the employees. It was very gross in the bathroom and showers. Definitely not a place to stay with children, perhaps if you were a single male traveler. Checked out as soon as we could in the morning and chose to walk around rather than spend one minute longer.

Great clean common area, the individual sleeping capsules don’t have air conditioning so it was fairly hot sleeping in them. The restaurants around the area had great food.

It has a nice decoration and a nice concept but it has many issues.
The shower rooms were really dirty, my capsule had some issues so it was restarting the whole night, that means noise and lights on every 10 minutes so I had a terrible sleep.
On top of all that, the staff keeps on smoking indoor the whole day..
