On a massive hill. I can admit not that fit. Walking down the hill straight in front of the ferry, we took to the island. Very handy. Could not get uber to pick us up easy too a while for airport drop off.the motel offer to sort out taxi and from uber quote $50 Turkish different so very reasonable Room was very clean, bed sheets crisp. Kettle and daily housekeeping. Heaps of little soaps ECT. We had the double and single family room, great bathroom between the two sections. Gave privacy. Front desk very chatty and friendly. The pool is in their spa area with Turkish bath Cost the same price as the bigger fancy Turkish bath but is tiny. We did it as need a motel day to rest. Massage was good. Turkish great. I have no issue with what we paid. Too dark of an area to use the pool as a pool to sit in and was very cold water.

Pros: Location - any transport within walking distance, including the Kabatash pier. Walking distance to Istiklal, Galata Tower, etc. There are shops and cafes nearby. Amenities in the room - everything you need is there, there were no problems with water, service via QR code Cleanliness - cleaned every day, towels changed Breakfast is excellent and quite varied. Vegetables, fruits, cheeses, eggs, sausages, salads, cereals, milk, toppings, jams, muffins, tea, coffee, cocoa. The staff is friendly, some speak Russian. They will always help you when you contact us. Minuses: Noisy - disco in the hotel. On the top floor there is a bar where parties and discos are held every day. You can hear it on all floors and surroundings. Loud music, group songs, clatter of heels (my room was on the 3rd floor, the bar was on the 6th floor, you could hear everything) Soundproofing - in the morning the staff can be heard outside the room door, my room was near the elevator, the hum and creaking of the elevator when using it caused slight discomfort. Overall everything is good. The hotel is located in a quiet area. If it weren't for disco, everything would be great. The administration should think about additional bonuses for guests as compensation for night noise.

Very poor hotel. You need to go up and down the mountain to get to the hotel. It's very steep. It's not suitable for traveling. Don't go there. Room is small, old and noisy

A good hotel with a convenient location, the only pity is that the entrance to the panoramic restaurant on the roof is closed (breakfasts are served below, not with a view of the Bosphorus). Everything else is great!

There is a club on the roof, and the party is open until 2 o'clock.

They have BED BUGS!!!!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE. Even if they did not, the bathrooms are full of black mold. The location sucks if you have to climb stairs and hills to get anywhere. Terrible. Would not recommend to anyone with a clear conscience.

We stayed at SED Hotel for three nights, if I say about service, cleanness, staff, rooms, all these things were so nice. But if you don't have your private car to move go anywhere, it will be a tough decision to stay here. Because I booked hotel online when I saw very affordable price and just 750 meters far from Taksim Square (750 meters is not too much distance if you are walking at the flat surface) , I was so attracted and instantly booked the hotel for two nights (for 3rd night we had to pay at counter, that's a different story) but once we reached there, it was like a mountain hiking track. Yes you can go thrice to Taksim if you have a great experience to climb mountains. Or another way to go anywhere, you have to book Uber or Taxi and you know about Uber in Istanbul they always cancel the ride after a long wait. These 750 meters to Taksim Square are not suitable for elder person, kids or the person with different abilities, because you have to walk like 160° vertical to reach any restaurant ,any place of interest or get transportation to move any other place of the city. But still the service , breakfast and staff was great and so much helpful to everyone. And also have ♿ Accessible Ramps to reach lobby and lift for upper floors.
