The rooms themselves are beautifully designed - all wood and concrete, creating a modern yet very natural ambiance. The pool is lovely, in its own nature setting. The limited menu, all made to order, is high quality and quite varied - both local and Western dishes are offered. The staff are very hospitable and helpful. Using the town of Habarana, and this hotel, as a base is a great way to see the major sites in the near vicinity: Sigiriya, Polonnawaru, Anuradhapura.

Wonderful hotel situated in an old mansion in the middle of the nature between forest, animals and lagoon. Personnel and assistance was fantastic starting from the welcome cerimony and the check in when they bring you mocktails and serviette to refresh. We had wonderful bungalow with private pool to be reached by navette, but it is also possible to bike there. Wonderful pool, excellent restaurant you really get 5 star service. Worth to mention the dinner at Kamatha restaurant that was of the best dinner we had in Lanka with traditional food and curries cooked with love by two great cook and sisters. Great experience, only remarks is that activities, yoga and massage are really expensive.

The hotel is located in Anuradhapura, with beautiful pagoda ruins visible across a large lake. The environment of the hotel is quite beautiful, and the swimming pool is also very good. The supply of buffet breakfast is not stable. We stayed for 4 nights in a row. Breakfast was buffet breakfast on two days and set meal on two days. The explanation given by the hotel was that the buffet breakfast was not open because the tour bus had left and there were too few people. Anyway, it’s quite interesting to have a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. Picture 1 is the set breakfast we had (the portions were huge), and Pictures 2 and 3 are the buffet breakfast.

The supply of buffet breakfast is not stable. We stayed for 4 nights in a row. Breakfast was buffet breakfast on two days and set meal on two days. The explanation given by the hotel was that the buffet breakfast was not open because the tour bus had left and there were too few people. Anyway, it’s quite interesting to have a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. Picture 1 is the set breakfast we had (the portions were huge), and Pictures 2 and 3 are the buffet breakfast.

We stayed here for just one night to visit the sites of Anuradhapura but we would have happily stayed longer! It was absolutely terrific value for money - the room was large and spotlessly clean, and fresh towels etc were all provided. The service from the staff was also excellent - we arrived when it was absolutely pouring with rain and we were helped in with umbrellas and shown to our room. We were also driving our own car so can confirm that parking was easy and the gated front made the parking feel secure. We paid for breakfast in the morning where we had string hoppers with fish curry and sat at a little table outside to eat where there were nice flowers pots and a real effort had been made with the little garden. The food was delicious and great value. This is a budget hotel so guests expectations must be in line with that - for the price this far exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Wonderful hotel situated in an old mansion in the middle of the nature between forest, animals and lagoon. Personnel and assistance was fantastic starting from the welcome cerimony and the check in when they bring you mocktails and serviette to refresh. We had wonderful bungalow with private pool to be reached by navette, but it is also possible to bike there. Wonderful pool, excellent restaurant you really get 5 star service. Worth to mention the dinner at Kamatha restaurant that was of the best dinner we had in Lanka with traditional food and curries cooked with love by two great cook and sisters. Great experience, only remarks is that activities, yoga and massage are really expensive.
