We stayed at Abhayamandapa Hotel from 21st June to 22nd June in Room No. 1. While there were some positive aspects to our stay, our overall experience was disappointing and did not represent good value for money. The hotel’s location is convenient for visiting nearby attractions, and the views from our room were beautiful. The balcony and surrounding scenery were among the highlights of our stay. Unfortunately, several aspects of the stay fell well below expectations. The water pressure in the room was very low, and there was no hot water available during the night, which was a significant inconvenience. The biggest concern, however, was the food. As vegetarians, we found the dining options to be extremely limited, with very little variety available. The quality and taste of the food were also disappointing, particularly considering the price charged for the accommodation. While breakfast was acceptable, the dinner options were especially underwhelming. We also found the dining experience uncomfortable, as staff members frequently stood nearby while guests were eating. This made it difficult to relax and enjoy our meals. Overall, although the location and views were excellent, the limited vegetarian food choices, disappointing food quality, and uncomfortable dining atmosphere left us feeling dissatisfied. Given the rates charged by the hotel, we expected a higher standard of service and facilities. Unfortunately, we do not believe the experience justified the price paid and would not consider it good value for money.
