Our stay at Liyana Holiday Resort was simply excellent. The resort is surrounded by beautiful nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere — perfect for unwinding. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with great attention to detail. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay; you can really tell they love what they do and care about their guests. The food was delicious, featuring local dishes prepared with authentic flavors and care. The location is ideal for exploring the area and going on nearby safaris or excursions. In short, Liyana Holiday Resort is the perfect place for anyone looking for relaxation, nature, and genuine hospitality. I highly recommend it and would definitely come back!

Very disappointed with the service. We called an employee here to book a room for 6 members of our family and booked a place, and after going there, the employee there stated that he was not there during that working period and thus a room was not reserved and there were no rooms for a family at that time. Because of that, we were very uncomfortable. Instead of taking responsibility, they did the most irresponsible actions. ☹️🫤😡

The receptionist at the hotel needs changing at the earliest. He is the ruduest receptionist you'll find. They left wet bedsheets in the room. We only noticed they were wet around 11.30pm. So when we called the reception there was no one who answered. Someone had to come from their home to deliver dry bedsheets. So the whole of the next day the receptionist showed his egoistic side and was visibly angry from the previous night. Not the best way to treat guests who are staying at your hotel.

They were very kind. Ajith was the perfect host. He cooked a kottu for dinner really taste. We arrived at 6:00 am in the morning and he hosted us before the check-in hour. He also prepares as a trip to the temples.

The hosts were very helpful and arranged good reasonably priced trips including to temples. The dahl breakfasts were awesome. The well appointed room nicely cooled with aircon. My room overlooked a beautiful garden. But a shame the window furnishings prevented me seeing it.

Ons verblijf in het resort in Anuradhapura was erg prettig. De locatie is ideaal, met gezellige restaurantjes in de buurt, al kun je ook uitstekend eten bij het resort zelf. We werden hartelijk ontvangen en het personeel was ongelooflijk vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Via het resort zijn verschillende tours te boeken, zoals naar Wilpattu of de tempels – handig en voor een eerlijke prijs, vergelijkbaar met andere aanbieders. De kamer was schoon en comfortabel. Enig minpuntje is dat het wat gehorig was, mede door de verbouwing die momenteel plaatsvindt. Desondanks een fijne plek om te verblijven!

3 nuits très agréables dans cette guest house très sympathique. Emplacement idéal, petits-déjeuners copieux et diversifiés, location de vélos à petit prix, bon accueil, personnel serviable et de bons conseils, chambre spacieuse et confortable : très bon rapport qualité prix !
