There are 12 stations from Xinmen Railway Station, but it takes 16 minutes to get there. There is a subway line in Turin, and you have to start from Xinmen wherever you go. The room is good and you can see the Alps Snow Mountain. There is a big bakery nearby to solve breakfast, there is a small local treasure restaurant, the aunt does not speak English, the menu can barely understand some, the dishes are first-class, seafood noodles and pizza are first-class

This was our third visit to this hotel and as always we enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival our allocated room was not very good but it was changed quickly and easily by the front desk staff. The replacement room was good and modern. The only complaint we have is that the shower cubicle is far too small. Large people will have great difficulty getting in and out let alone actually washing. Additionally the hotels location is good, being close the Porta Susa railway station. No need for a taxi. The restaurant across the road is recommended as is the Sushi restaurant just around the corner at the top of the Via Cernaia. Turin is nice city with not too many tourists and wealth of excellent places to see and places to eat at. We have been visiting Turin for 16 years as our son lives here - we love it. Pleasant and conveniently located hotel to rest at night after being in the city. Friendly staff. Rooms clean and well kept. Food was good. Variety is good for a few days. Plenty of drinks and wine to go with dinner each night. Shops nearby and a lovely park to walk in. We stayed there with a large group for 3 nights. Easy to get downtown from as well as both football stadiums. Anything we asked for was quickly delivered at the desk to us. For example, We asked for another pillow and blanket and were handed them immediately. Good level of English spoken so we talked to many people in the hotel. It was very friendly and helpful.

I stayed at the J Hotel for 12 nights on business. I was particularly impressed by all the staff, they were excellent. A particular shout-out to reception staff, house keeping & Lorenzo at breakfast! A comfortable, well maintained, clean hotel with a good restaurant and breakfast choices.

This is hotel really lives up to its 4 stars, and it’s such good value for money. It’s situated right next to the cathedral and is easy walking distance of everything. The architecture is stunning. The receptionist was charming, and made every effort to accommodate us, especially as my husband has a disability. Access and parking were easy. The rooms are well equipped with different glasses, cups, kettle, Lavazza coffee machine (this is Turin) , well stocked mini bar, fluffy towels, very comfy bed. The bar is pleasant and there is an atrium garden for when it’s warmer. Our dinner in the restaurant was interesting: it’s modern Italian cooking, but good and reasonably priced. If you want traditional Piedmontese food there is a square around the corner with multiple bars and restaurants. At our request the receptionist arranged a private car tour of Turin because my husband cannot walk very far. All done with efficiency and charm. We can’t rate this hotel highly enough.

Breakfast is ok (cafeteria), security issues are feasible. This is also a cooperative student dormitory of three local universities. I am a local international student. It is a well-regulated hotel and suitable for accommodation. Tram 4 at the door goes directly to the city center.

I was travelling solo due to passport issues. The accommodation was very bright, clean and modern and the staff were lovely. I arrived early and waited for my room to be ready, nice, cool reception area. Bit of a walk into town but I enjoyed it as I like to explore different parts of cities. Felt safe though.

I have never found such a large bed and located in a good position, about 20 minutes walk from the center of Turin, with which it is also very well connected by public transport. Very kind staff both at the reception and in the breakfast room, which is truly excellent and plentiful for both sweet and savory dishes, despite the bad habit of several guests of filling bags and backpacks with sandwiches, cold cuts, cheeses and fruit to take away. The rooms are large, although the bathrooms are a little less than adequate.
