Cangzhou Bohai Hotel Reviews

On a business trip to Cangzhou, the room was spacious with a bathtub. The breakfast was a feast, with all sorts of bread and milk, all specialties. Most importantly, the front desk service was excellent and the facilities were comprehensive, making me feel right at home. I'll definitely be back!

What I loved most about my stay was the breakfast buffet. There was a huge variety of stations, with everything from noodles and congee to Western pastries. My favorite was the handmade 'jianbing' (Chinese crepes); the chef made them fresh on the spot. The batter was soft and chewy, the crispy fritter was perfectly crunchy, and the sauce had just the right amount of saltiness. It was authentic street food flavor without even leaving the hotel! The restaurant was clean and odorless, food was refilled quickly, and the service was excellent. This 'jianbing' alone is worth coming back for!

The room was spacious, but it's clearly an older hotel, and the maintenance hasn't quite kept up. The breakfast spread was ample, but more attention to detail is needed. The floor attendant was very warm and dedicated. The parking lot, despite its size, lacked proper management and didn't seem to be exclusively for hotel guests, with people coming and going freely.

A big hotel with huge size of rooms, feel like you get much bigger room than what you paid for. Compare to other Cangzhou hotels, this hotel has biggest size of rooms and well equipped. Only drawback is that there are no shops nearby if you want to buy anything. Not far from Cangzhou West (Cangzhouxi) railway station.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent stay! The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The rooms and common areas were always clean and well maintained. The buffet was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options every day. The staff was incredibly friendly, dedicated, and attentive, always willing to help and ensure a pleasant stay. Their outstanding service truly enhanced the overall experience. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

I stayed here once a long time ago and thought it was okay, mainly because it's convenient for the high-speed rail station. This time, my stay was absolutely terrible. On the first day after housekeeping, they didn't provide a bath mat. I called the front desk, and they said they'd bring it the next day, but on the third day, after cleaning, it still wasn't there. The rag the cleaning lady used on the first day was left on the TV cabinet until I checked out. There were even insect carcasses in the disposable slippers. The hygiene was incredibly poor. Other than being close to the high-speed rail station, it has no redeeming qualities. If you haven't experienced truly bad hygiene, you can try this place. The soundproofing is also awful; you can hear conversations in the hallway very clearly. The last time I stayed, hotel staff delivered takeout to the room, but now it's left in a takeout locker at the front desk, so you have to go down to get it. Even delivery drivers are reluctant to bring it up because of the high floors and lack of robots.

The hotel is convenient of the places that I love to go and the cleanliness of the hotel is amazing

This is currently one of my favorite hotels in Cangzhou, the rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, and the breakfast is excellent. A charming French bakery on one end of the hotel offers coffee and pastries with an English menu, perfect for foreign guests unfamiliar with local food apps. There isn’t much English-speaking staff, understandable given Cangzhou’s limited foreign tourism, the language barrier posed no issues at all. Would definitely come back to this hotel again !

The hotel room was super cozy and I slept like a baby. The breakfast buffet had everything I could've wanted and more. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, making my stay even better. The location was perfect, close to everything I wanted to see. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Good location. No sugar in the rooms, when asked about it was told that there’s no sugar in the whole hotel. It was raining heavily but the hotel doesn’t borrow umbrellas unless you pay additional deposit of 50 CNY even though there’s a 200 CNY deposit paid when checking in.

Location is vey good so near Cangzhou railway station, taxi charge 9 RMB , frond desk not speaking English but can cooperate with them through application mobile , restaurant is very good , many varieties of food
