Reception staff were super kind and helpful. Was able to help us with weighing our bags and arranging taxis. Excellent room cleaning each day ๐ with complimentary bottled water. Solid wifi too and sound proofed well, didnโt hear anyone else the whole 5 days I stayed. Location wise, a bus stop is right outside and short walk to subway, making Gamcheon village, Jalgachi market, Busan tower, Nampo, all super accessible. Airport only 30 minutes away via taxi for around 20,000 won.
Cafe and convenience store on the first floor and amazing bbq chicken and beer on 2nd. Also some good cafes and restaurants walking distance near by.
Would I stay here again? Yes if wanting to stay in the area. If I want to focus on Haeundae more I would perhaps choose somewhere closer to there. I think for first time visit, you can go wrong!

The staff at the front desk werenโt particularly friendly, but they provided clear guidance and offered excellent advice to resolve our issue during check-in.
Toilet and shower is 2 separate rooms which was good. Very spacious room- overall we had a pleasant stay.
Location was conveniently around 5-8 mins distance from Busan station. convenience stores and mini mart nearby too.

Location - near to Busan station (10 minutes taxi ride or 20 minutes bus ride + a little walking). It's also near to Gamcheon Culture Village (30 minutes bus ride). Lotte Department Store is walking distance of 10 minutes or a bus ride of 5 minutes. Evening time, you can see stalls laid up selling cooked seafood - many locals will eat and drink there (we didn't try as we were too full). Just next to the hotel, there's a Emart convenience shop but if you walk about 50m down the street, there is S25 convenient shop which I find the things are much cheaper. If you wish to grab a coffee, there is a โBlue Shakโ cozy cafe within 50m. This area is less touristy.
Service - The receptionists can speak English but I felt they could be more friendlier. We unforeseen our small sized luggage to be spoilt and requested to be thrown away at check out but was told that they do not have a disposal bin. I understand South Korea has a strict disposal system but given such a big property, they could at least help because we travellers can't just dispose things anywhere. The receptionist reluctantly helped after I insisted. The Housekeeping was excellent, clean room throughout stay.
Room - Good size. I booked a triple room (Ondol - floor bedding) but was given 3 real beds instead. I did not pursue further as I checked in late (11pm+) and it was 2 nights. The bed was too soft for me. View of the room was partial ocean and port.
Overall, a good stay but I will not return to this hotel. I am a hotelier but I do not expect sky high services because service line can be hard at times. The receptionists at both check in and check out didn't gave me a warm feeling - didn't felt as welcome like a traveller.

First of all....it's not an ocean view, it's a construction site view.. I wanted to sleep quietly, but it starts ticking from 7 o'clock ใ ใ
For 500,000 won per night..
I think the ocean view review is only valid for about a year ago, and right now the building is blocking it, so I can't see it, and when the building across the street is completed, I'll play omok with the person in front... You can't advertise like this.. You have to change all the photos
I want to experience a new residence and have a good time

Overall experience are okay, one thing to mention, seaview room is totally a huge scam, you only got partial sea view. I had asked reception, he claimed that all their room are partial see view, but the hotel still selling sea view room at a higher price !!
Besides, I requested to borrow an adaptor, its free but i had to travel to lobby to collect it, which i think it can be improved by sending over to room. ;)

๐จ Fairfield by Marriott Busan
314 Haeundaehaebyeon-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan, South Korea, 48099
Stayed two nights in Fairfield by Marriott Busan to be close to Marina City for an event in mid October 2024.
๐Location: Fairfield by Marriott Busan is located in a less eventful part of Busan. Not the best pick if you want to be where the action is. I have stayed near the Busan train station and in Nampo previously and enjoyed those parts of Busan more.
๐ Accessibility: it takes about 15 minutes' walk to the hotel (with luggage on uneven roads) from the drop off point at What The Burger which is where the Haeundae Intercity Bus alighted customers from Incheon Airport. The bus journey takes close to 5.5 hours with two rest stops and a stop at Nopo Terminal.
Kakao Taxi fare from Fairfield by Marriott Hotel to Haeundae Intercity Bus Terminal costs about KRW5000-6000.
๐๐ฝ Room: No complaints for the price point and what you see is what you get as befitting a Marriott property. There is construction opposite the hotel so paying for the city view on a high floor will avoid that if you are bothered by a construction view. The sea is not nearby so look for another option if that is important.
๐ฃ Amenities: I did read another review about the paper thin room slippers and wisely packed a pair from home.
๐ฒ Food Options: I arrived at night and didn't find too many food options in the evening as everything seems to be closed early. There are convenience shops nearby and a Paris Baguette a few blocks away.
Hotel breakfast is available at Bistro 314 on Level 2 of the hotel at a discounted rate of 16,500KRW for hotel guests if you book in advance.
๐๏ธ There is a fitness centre on Basement 1 next to the self service coin laundry.

Stay here if you have business nearby and want to save time travelling but not as a tourist with limited time wanting to explore the best of what Busan has to offer.

I would not recommend Ananti at Busan Cove to anyone. It should be a place to relax for families. However, they have an abundance of (confusing) rules and a military style of โserviceโ from their staff.
I've traveled all across the world (+60 countries). Living & working on 3 continents - and this was the strangest place I've ever stayed. A resort where the guest is always wrong. Strange hours, strange rules, strange service.
And don't count on using the pool on the day of your check-out - as it's not allowed.
If you want to carry around the full page of rules with you, be limited to small selection of restaurants which fill up and close early, then this might be the place for you.
On the plus side, the sea is beautiful (although no accessible beach) - so you are stuck with the pool which is evacuated every 50 minutes.

Enjoy the recreation opportunities such as an outdoor pool or make use of other amenities including complimentary wireless internet access.
At IJE Busan, enjoy a satisfying meal at the restaurant. A complimentary Korean breakfast is served daily from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.

Perfect
GGuest UserThe room is very nice. There are vinyl records and stationery. Postcards and notes are given when you check in. There is also free coffee at the coffee shop downstairs. The mood is worth it. The only downside is that the window in the room cannot be opened. It is a bit dusty. I was not feeling well after staying for three days.
GGuest UserMy family and I stayed at the hotel from 26 Dec to 28 Dec 2023 and upon checkout, the staff insisted that they had issues reversing my 200 000 krw deposit because I didn't use the same card. This is strange and confusing because I only used one credit card the whole time in Korea. I also used the same card to pay for the hotel booking upon check in. We stayed in other Lotte Hotels in Korea and compared to those hotels, our experience at Lotte Hotel Busan was not the best. During check-in, i had several questions for the staff assisting us but she told us curtly that she will explain this later. Perhaps it was a language issue but definitely rubbed me the wrong way. During our time using the pool, different lifeguards asked me on two separate occasions if my family had registered to use the pool -- we paid for the pool usage and received wristbands. They also hovered around my family quite a bit - prolly cos my husband's arm tattoo was showing under his shirt and my kids are rather loud (they are 3 and 6 fyi). We were also told by the staff to keep our 3 year old quiet. We understand that compared to perhaps other Korean children, our child can be quite loud. We tried our best to keep him quiet but he is just 3 and simply excited to be there and it was not so nice to feel like we were being watched all the time for our child.
EEW.Very excellent location if you need to frequent Busan Station for KTX, SRX or subway etc. However, it is quite a distance via bus/subway to Haeundae, Lotte World or Seomyeon area. Excellent for the price.
Do note that the (small) elevators are super busy in the morning.
UUMEKAWAMy husband and I stayed for two nights.
The location is about 5 minutes from Haeundae Station, along the main road, so it's easy to find and the beach is close by.
It was nice to take a walk along the beach in the morning.
It's lively until midnight, but it's quiet when you close the windows.
The only amenities provided are shampoo and other amenities, so you should bring your own simple slippers, pajamas, and toothbrush.
There is a Daiso and eMart nearby, so you may want to buy them locally.
Kkuniwo68It is an old hotel with facilities. Amenities are minimal and no toothbrush is attached. There is no curtain in the bathtub and if you shower, the floor will be flooded. You can't use the bath mat in this state. It may be good to have a beach sandal for bathing. The hot water does not come out easily and if it doesn't flow for about 20 minutes, it won't get hot. There was a hot pot on the table, but it was troubled that the code was short, so it did not reach the outlet, put the pot on the chair, and boiled the hot water. I wrote only bad things, but the front desk of the hotel was kind and the room was large enough. The location is also close to the subway station and it is a good hotel enough if you don't even expect excessively.
AAnonymous UserI feel scammed.
Pros:
- Location. It is on the busiest street and located in Haeundae so reasonable accessible to most attractions in Busan.
- Space. very spacious.
- Good A/C
Cons:
- View. I paid extra for โpartial ocean viewโ room and there was a huge difference between pictures and reality. Turns out there is only one room that looks like the picture and the other rooms have window-wall on one side that connects to balcony. The window wall had big and bulky window panes that made it impossible to appreciate the view. What is even crazier is, the balcony had a huge STONE WALL so we didn't even have ant view, HALF OF WHAT WE SAW WAS JUST WALL. We could only see the ocean in a very specific angle in a tiny, tiny spot on the bed. Not worth it and I regret booking the room.
- Noise. the buskers sing until late on weekends. Because we were located right above rhe busking spot, we couls hear every word of lyrics with windows closed and could not really hold conversations without raising our voice. We couldn't hear ourselves think.
- Lack of attention to details. inconvenient. shower is not built properly and water doesn't leak; it streams outside the shower. no bidet. hair dryer is weak and smells old
- Understaffed as hell. we checked out at 10:45am, 15 minutes before checkout time and usually the busiest of time at receptions. One staff is dealing with phone calls, arranging taxi rides, overseeing/managing the luggage storage. We really did not feel safe storing our luggage in the lobby with the staff being so distracted and physically unable to see what happens to the luggage, even though it is right in front of reception the queue was blocking the view.
At least the partial ocean view option is not worth the money at all. I feel scammed and strongly recommend other options of similar price range or ocean view hotels near Gwangan-li, since Haeundae is a very touristy region. You'll get burned out after two nights of staying in the neighborhood.
GGuest UserThe hotel was located in the mountains, so it was a pleasant and quiet atmosphere.
The facilities were clean and nice
On the other hand, access by public transportation is somewhat inconvenient.
GGuest UserThe location is good as it is very close walking distance to shopping streets and the price is affordable. Room is equipped with a smart TV. I did not need to use my travel adaptor as well. Basic toiletries available. However, the bath towel is in face towel size. Clothes hanging area is on top/in front of the dresser. Things to note if staying here. Hotel is located upslope from the streets. (relatively steep) Most of the times (like a 9 out of 10), I was unable to book a taxi from my hotel due to the kakao taxi app prompting that cars cannot enter my area (they will outline the roads on the app to show the roads that cars cannot enter).I had to walk some distance out to another place to book a taxi. However, there was no restrictions to drop off at this address but many times, the driver will also drop me somewhere further away to walk in. Both the guy & lady (seems like lady boss) receptionists seems enthusiastic for a normal conversation but can become rude when we enquire or request for help. I had difficulty switching on the aircon when I first checked in and called for help. They refused to come and help and the instructions was vague as all I can understand was โthe switch is below the TVโ. I later found out that it is common for aircon switch to be on the TV remote controller in Korea after I checked in to another hotel. It was after the third call when we flared up that someone came to help. But the help was of course also a rude one. Another thing to note is that they only give one access card and this access card is also the only card that manages the power in the room. If you insert another card in the slot for power, they will switch off your electricity after a while. This means you will not be able to probably sleep/shower in the room if your partner goes out since you will have to be the one to open the door, unless you can stay in the room without any power. You will also not be able to charge your phones/power banks etc while you are out and the refrigeration will also be off. The receptionist have called us via room phone and scolded us for putting a foreign card in. I think this is upsetting as we usually have more than one card in other hotels. The other hotel that I booked in Seoul even had a ready card slotted in for power and we still had 2 cards for access. Another downside: There was some form of leak from toilet bowl area and I cannot make out where its from. There will be a typical pee stench after awhile. Both the automatic bidets and manual bidets did not work in my toilet. I am not sure if this only happens in my room thus this is just for reference. Otherwise my toilet was huge and the water jet was strong. Do note that they allow early check in but it is chargeable. When I reached 2 hours earlier, I was told that their hotel does not have early check in. After asking further, they told me to pay 20,000 won if I want to check in early and I got my room immediately. I would have preferred if they told me from the start that early check in is possible for a fee.

GGuest UserThe room is big and ok. It's come with King size bed. The bed is solid hard which makes your body ache when wake up, and not comfortable at all. The is jacuzzi provided but not functional and the tub is leaking.
The hotel not provided towel, already ask the staff but they said they only give face towel. The microwave located at the ground floor of the hotel. There is no connection lift to the parking. The lift is very dangerous for the kids, by baby hands almost got stuck when she tried to enter the lift, its suddenly close.
