Amazing experience with great customer service from all staff we interacted with. Location of the hotel is right in the heart of all the action. No regrets!

The location is excellent. The alley is decorated very warmly. Many tourists come in to take pictures. Next door is a group of several restaurants in El National, a popular alley. The triple room is very comfortable. My parents and I have relatively independent spaces and do not disturb each other. There is a shared lounge on the E floor. There are donuts in the morning, coffee all day, and happy hour from 7 to 8 in the evening. It is very comfortable. Recommended!

The entrance to the hotel is a bit difficult to find, it is in the alley next to "FIVE GUYS". The lobby is not big either. Next to the front desk are three plates of things that look like sweet-scented osmanthus cakes, but they are actually soaps😅. The elevator goes to the "E" floor first, and then changes to the elevator to go to your own floor. The room is not small and has a capsule coffee machine, bathrobe, disposable slippers, etc. There is also a small pool on the independent terrace, where you can take a dip in the summer. It's quite quiet, and it's the most comfortable hotel we've stayed in these days. Just outside the door is Thanksgiving Street, which is very convenient for shopping.

The location is very good, very close to the attractions! The service is also thoughtful.

It's quite good, the service is attentive, the small garden is also nice, there is free coffee and snacks, the lady at the front desk is friendly, and the luggage is stored for free. The bar next to it is very lively at night!

酒店很乾凈裝修風格不錯，就是有點小。重點是趕飛機把六袋西班牙火腿落在房間冰箱裏，聯繫酒店居然説沒看到！我很確定是落在房間冰箱裏了。不知道是酒店還是員工私吞了！

Without a doubt the best thing is the location, the hotel is very good, we had ants in the room, but it was solved immediately, by Fernando, the receptionist who is there at night, who also told us what to do in the city and where to eat barbecue Argentina, they have a reduced breakfast, and in the afternoon wines, snacks, all free. We will definitely return

Needed room for 3 people and as the hotel I have stayed in before only has interior rooms that size, decided to try somewhere new. It is FANTASTIC. Will never stay anywhere else in Barcelona. Hotel: it's a small boutique hotel, just off Passeig de Gracia, 5 min walk from Placa Catalunya and 10 min from La Pedera. It's in a little pretty alleyway so feels hidden away and quiet. Which was a bonus as we were there when Formula One event was being held one night around the corner and the rest of the area was rammed with people! A little oasis. Staff are really helpful and friendly, too. Great location. Room: We had a first floor terrace room for three. Double bed plus single sofa bed which was fine for an adult. The room was lovely - designed really well, lots of blackout curtains, TV area, nice shower and bathroom area (open plan sinks, little toilet with door, powerful shower) but the best part is the terrace and well worth paying for. Outdoor bath and bed sized sun lounger and table and chairs. Very cool. (Only downside was there was construction on an adjacent building so not that private during the day due to the workmen, but that isn't the hotel's fault). Absolutely loved this place and will return and recommend to anyone heading to Barcelona who wants an unique and pretty perfect place to stay.

What a wonderful hotel in a perfect location in Barcelona. Charming boutique hotel, with a gracious and welcoming staff that go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We had three rooms for 6 of us and each of the rooms were comfortable and well appointed. We had one terrace room that I would book again in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and ask the front desk staff for restaurant recommendations. I had the best meal of my life in Barcelona thanks to them. The only slight drawback to the hotel is that the wonderful and spacious shower leaks out onto the bathroom floor which soaks the floor entirely. You will need extra towels for this reason. A minor inconvenience but it will not stop me from booking this hotel again next time I am in Barcelona.

Just book this hotel and book it early because it is extremely popular and full. You won’t regret it. This hotel is in the best location close walking distance to fantastic restaurants, all the shops, and Gaudi casa Mila and casa Batlló. The hotel is brand new and rooms were nice and beds comfortable. Much nicer than the other 4 star hotels we stayed in during this trip. I was a little scared the scent focus might be overpowering but it wasn’t at all and it’s so pleasant. The management and front desk were amazing with recommendations especially the first restaurant that was our favorite the whole trip. I mistakenly booked the wrong dates that passed and they not only managed to find me a room in their always full hotel but applied my deposit for not showing g up earlier to my stay. They have everything we needed including beach towels to make our stay wonderful.

THE LOCATION IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST, THE CLEANING IS CORRECT, THE BREAKFAST IS FREE, I COULD HAVE SOMETHING WITHOUT FLOUR, FERNANDO HAS MADE ME FEEL AT HOME, THEY GIVE AWAY WINE AND SNACK, BUT I DIDN'T GET TO TRY ANYTHING, A LOT OF PEOPLE. IN GENERAL EVERYTHING VERY GOOD.

The location is great, it is simple and elegant, the rooms are clean and pleasing to the eye, earth and neutral colors, wooden floors and air conditioning. It is a 2 star hotel but it should be at least 4 stars: it is spotlessly clean, the staff is very friendly, helpful, I highlight Fernando, who was not only professional in his job (he works at the reception) but also solved a problem with the toilet water. In the hotel you can find fragrances, even in the stairs, there are stations with open bottles that diffuse different scents depending on where you are ... definitely nice.

I really wanted to like this hotel, but it sadly fell short of expectations and was less than average. I have travelled globally for business by myself, but this was my first solo vacation so I did some extra research on the hotel. I was planning to do a lot of walking so I wanted to ensure I was staying in a centrally located hotel. I wanted to stay in a small boutique hotel so that it felt more homey and more likely to give their guests a bit more extra attention. I considered staying at their sister hotel Praktik Rambla (a 3 star hotel and the flagship that is just 2 blocks away) upon the recommendation of a friend who has stayed there twice before, but they didn’t have the room choice I needed.. I also looked at Praktik Vinoetcca, but it was a bit further away from the Gothic Barrio, where I planned to spend a lot of time exploring. So I chose Praktik Essens, although the rates for the 2 star was suprisingly higher than its 3 star counterpart, the reviews seem to be favorable although mixed. I stayed for 6 nights, and the beds were comfortable and the location was convenient to train and some major sights and the reception staff were friendly. But, for the price (which averaged roughly $300 US a night — basically approx $289 during the week and weekends was over $331), This was pricey for my budget, but I made the investment due to the reviews and my needs. But, i was disappointed to discover that basic services and expectations were not met. Most have to do with the building itself and the poor communication/response from management. The walls were surprisingly super thin (and I sleep through anything coming from NYC). I heard every door knock in the hallway and the next door guests using the bathroom and shower. There was an issue with the temperature control in my shower and I burned myself with scalding water from the shower head so couldn’t take a shower until it was fixed. I read in the reviews about water pooling outside the shower door, and asked about it when I booked the room and they said it wasn’t an issue, but I assure you, it IS an issue and even with the bathmat on the floor, it can be dangerously slippery. A few days into my stay, I had no electricity in my room (it was late in the day so fairly dark so I couldn’t take a shower or charge my phone. This was yet another inconvenience as I was running late for a tour and my evening out. I was later told that i blew the fuse when charging my phone, but if you are running a hotel of travelers from around the world….ummm, don’t you need to make sure you can ensure that guests have the ability to charge their phones? I asked to speak to the manager to address some of these issues, but received no response. In fact, I followed up several times to address my concerns, and was told that the manager didn’t see an issue, and apparently, a need to respond personally. That response was unexpected.
