Wow, what an experience! The nice view, the big room with comfortable bed and modern bathroom, but most of all the superior servicelevel of our host Sanjaya. When you think of something, he is reading your mind and doing it for you. Amazing! And the food is perfect, everything fresh and selfmade, and presented at the table as a painting. The chef Madushanka has done a great job! Who loves a quiet stay, with a great view and a lot of dedication of the host and chef, you are at the wright place 💫.

This was the best hotel I ever been to. The view is stunning. It is in the mountains and the hotel has a lot of glass. So everywhere you are, the view is perfect. When you wake up in bed, you look over the mountains. From your balcony and the restaurant, all beautiful views. The hotel is very clean, beautiful and the service is the best. Our host/buttler was the best. His name is Sanjaya and he is so sweet and kind and will think of everything. He made us feel like a prince and princess. He take cares of everything. And also the food was a amazing from chef Madushanka. We had a five course menu the first night, it was perfect. It looks amazing and it’s taste sooo good! With the good service of Sanjaya and the perfect food, it was a great night. The day after we had a beautiful and very good breakfast and also in the afternoon a high tea with delicious snacks. That night we eat a curry and a very nice dessert! Also a perfect meal!! So everything was so so so good! It scores a big 10!! Special thanks to the great service of Sanjaya and the perfect food of Madushanka. We will remender this stay forever!

As a family of four this is one of pur best holiday experiences. The staff were exceptional. Samjaya, Chaminda, and Madushanka the chef looked after us with genuine care and hospitality. Thank you to the three of you for making us feel so welcome. The surrounds, the view from the room, the feeling of total tranquility made this an incredible experience. Luxury in the wilderness, I'm not sure how to describe it any other way! We went on the guided hike to the waterfall and saw so much of what makes this a beautiful country. Afterwards we had a cooking demonstration. It was brilliant. If you have the opportunity you must book this amazing place and stay for at least two nights.

What a place! High up in the mountains, the views are spectacular. We woke up and kept the curtains open to see the sun shine over the mountains & really enjoyed the view when eating breakfast and dinner. Staff where excellent, especially with my little one and all food was perfect.

An amazing place to stay. A truly wonderful boutique in the mountains with stunning uninterrupted views and lovely pool. The staff led by Eranda are so friendly, professional and extremely helpful. The individually prepared food would be hard to beat anywhere in Sri Lanka. All staff try to help you plan your days if needed by suggesting routes to walk or organising transport to local sights. The rooms are large with balconies overlooking the mountains. The very large beds are lovely and comfortable with beautiful linen and fluffy pillows. The ensuite bathroom offers everything you could need. We would love to return and know we would be welcomed like returning family. Thank you also to Sonali in their office who helped me book everything accommodation and transfers so smoothly. Worth booking direct.

We had an absolutely wonderful 2 days in this stunning place. Everything was perfect from the booking experience to the service the moment we arrived. Lalith and Sanjay took care of our every need and made us feel immediately at home. Nothing was too much for them! We stayed in the Galapitagala room and Villa Ohiya as there were 5 of us. Waking up to the stunning views and sounds of the birds, greeted with a delicious breakfast and chilling in this beautiful place was the highlight of our trip. Each day we were also treated to scrumptious high tea and a 5 course dinner. Eranda the manager was away during our stay but he called me personally to make sure we had all we needed. A 5 star experience and we will definitely be back!

Everything about Capoe House is magical, the rooms, the views, the staff and the food. It is totally unique and we are so lucky to have found this special place. You are immersed in the mountains and its inhabitants, birds, butterflies, monkeys, peacocks. We spent two days here and were so sad when we had to leave. Eranda the manager is very sincere and attentive. He is hugely knowledgeable about the surrounding flora and fauna. He took us to a beautiful nearby waterfall in the hotel grounds and then gave us an hours nature presentation back at the hotel. The food is outstanding, best we ve had in Sri Lanka, beautifully presented and delicious. All of the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

An absolutely wonderful stay from start to finish. Lalith and his team were incredible hosts with kind, courteous and above all friendly service. The location is stunning and peaceful. We chose a stay here over visiting Ella and so glad we did. As a small property you are so well looked after. The food was of an excellent quality and they even catered well to an allergen we provided in advance. We did a walk and waterfall visit as well. The waterfall is really beautiful and the walk offered great views (a small warning, it is a hard walk from a steepness aspect). We’ve already recommended the property to multiple friends and thank all the team there for making our stay so enjoyable.
