Negative: Interior and decoration are very old and outdated. Stains and dirty marks are everywhere. Smell inside our room was bad probably due to the cleaning agent used. Sound proof is very poor. You can hear clearly noises from next door or in the corridor. Breakfast is awful.
Positive: Location is excellent. Just next to the pier and 20 minute walk to the Beijing Road walking district which has many shops and restaurants. Rooms facing the river have excellent view. Service is good. Room prices are reasonable.
Conclusion: It's time for a complete renovation and upgrade. I wouldn't mind paying more for a better experience. Otherwise it's a waste of such great location and view!
