We only stayed for one night, but we enjoyed our stay, especially the concert by the Flarmoni orchestra at the black church near the hotel. You can feel the quality of the place from the moment you check in at the front desk. The next day, breakfast was also very healthy and rich, with different options. We would choose to stay at this hotel again if we visit the city.

In essence, Hotel Continental Forum in Sibiu provided not just a comfortable stay but a delightful immersion into the city's ambiance. Mercure Sibiu Airport looks like a well-functioning airport hotel that makes its thing solid, but does not entirely meet the standard of a quite comfortable 4-Sterne-Unterkunft – rather in the area of a slightly raised 3-Sterne-Gef chair. The location right at the airport is really practical, just when you arrive late or go early, and despite the proximity it is pleasantly quiet in the quiet rooms. The rooms were clean and quiet with me, without any big disturbances, so exactly what you need when it's primarily about sleep and order. The sports area (school) I liked – it is functional and invites to a short workout, even if it is not very large or luxurious. Overall, the hotel does not feel as high as the “4-Sterne” categorisation promises: some areas are a little older and less maintained, and the impression is rather pragmatic than stylish. But for a short, practical stay at the airport it is absolutely OK, especially when a clean, quiet room and a good sports area are important.

Great hotel - Friendly staff and reception - Room was large and clean - Bed was really comfortable and it was a really good sleep - Near to bus stop that can take you to city centre, Promenada Mall and train station - Breakfast had a good variety - Restaurant on the top floor had great views of the Transylvanian idyll of Sibiu - A lot of facilities but did not manage to use all

The room I stayed in was the simplest so far in the trip, but the service was ok. The service at the front desk and the restaurant was very good. I just felt like something was wrong. I cried here and had an unhappy time. It was quiet, surrounded by sports fields and parks. The water in Sibiu is particularly good, sweet, and free of alkaline water.

The location was decent, being close to the old town - less than 10 mins. There was a little mall across the road and a supermarket just down the road. The bed was firm and did not have a solid base so the bed was not the most comfortable. I will give them props for two towels to use after a shower. The air conditioning worked well for a hot day but a lift was out of action and a fire alarm went off for a mintue or so, but lead to nothing - that latter thing was not really anything to complain (apart from the sirens were LOUD).

Lovely historic hotel in the centre of Sibiu. Great facilities, including parking. An excellent breakfast is included. Rooms are comfortable but a little tired.
