We had a lovely stay at The Taaras. The resort is beautiful, comfortable, and very relaxing.
Special thanks to Hasni (Activities Desk), Hamdan Rajab (Guest Experience Executive), for their excellent service and warm hospitality. We would also like to thank Eddy (buggy/van driver) for his kind help in finding my lost spectacles, truly appreciate his support and effort.

So happy to have spent my time on Redang Island at De’Rimba. Thank you to the wonderful staff who are the friendliest people i appreciate everything they have done to make my time here the best i could have imagined!
My room was one of the top huts which had a comfortable queen size bed, TV, iron and ironing board. The bathroom was a bit smaller than what i was expecting in that i thought there would be more room to shower in, but it was fine by me as i was able to use it with no problem. The hut has a balcony which is nice to sit in and chill after coming back from the beach.
The food was so tasty and i was so relieved that they accept card payments because i forgot to take out money from the ATM before going to the island.
100% coming back to stay at De’Rimba in my next trip to Redang :)FromIDR 748,835

Bottled water needs to be ordered by phone for delivery to your room. For snorkeling, you'll need to rent life vests and masks; prescription masks are available but cost extra. All charges are posted directly to your room and settled upon check-out. For instance, our rental for 5 life vests and 2 masks (one with prescription) cost 125 RM per day. There's also an island entry fee: 30 RM for adults and 15 RM for children. Upon arrival, you first check in, then eat. The 3:00 PM snorkeling slot felt quite rushed. The boss is Chinese, and he is very friendly to a newbie who doesn't know English. We missed our flight, so in order not to delay the rest of the trip, we took a bus to Terengganu. The boss helped us take the bus and boat to and from the island. It is very comfortable to lie flat on Redang Island. The price is relatively good value for money. Paradise is very cost-effective in Redang Island. Give the boss a thumbs up👍SOLD OUT

We’ve truly enjoyed our stay at Peridot. The Long Beach Villa room is beautifully decorated. The view from the room is breathtaking & it's really nice to be waking up by the sound of sea waves. Love their L'Occitane toiletries as well.
However, as the hotel is still undergoing some renovations, there are not many amenities available around the hotel. Upon checking in, we were so hungry after a long drive from SG, but the restaurant was closed at 2pm. The only options we were offered were to go to the other hotels' restaurants along the beach. The à la carte menus provided did not have much variety either. To get halal food was quite a distance from Peridot. But no choice; after freshening up, we walked along the beach and just asked around if we could have our late lunch there. Breakfast varieties were limited. For the price we paid, it could have been better. I love their chicken nuggets, though!
At night, it can be quite quiet around the area, but it was not an issue for us, as we love the quiet vibes and enjoy our peaceful nights there. The WIFI connection was really bad. So we got to use our data most of the time.
Apart from the food issue, the rooms had power trips quite frequently on our 2nd & 3rd days of our stay there.
Overall it was a great experience for us. The room is clean, and basic amenities are fulfilled.
Please note they are still in their soft launch; expect to be fully operational by March 2026. I hope I can come back by then & the facilities will be fully functional and improved.FromIDR 2,532,244

The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very clean and clean. If you're attracted to all this, the beach is super, with access to other restaurants, excursions, canoe and taxi boat. The buffet of the Resort is also nice but don't come too much after the start of the service, the staff is very welcome and listens and will not hesitate to inform you about the dishes and others.

The townhouse rooms were clean but soundproof. The environment was pleasant, close to the beach, and there was a swimming pool within the accommodation complex. The food wasn't overly curry, which was generally acceptable for Chinese food lovers. The ferry service was good, with round-trip transfers. The afternoon snacks and mung bean soup on the first day were delicious. For snorkeling, you had to wade through shallow water to board the boat. Black smoke billowed from behind the boat, which could easily make people with motion sickness sick. It's best to take motion sickness medication within half an hour before boarding.SOLD OUT
