Redang De' Rimba

Worst vacation experience ever. I don’t mind staying at a resort like this, but the poor service made me seriously consider checking out early. 1. The TV was not working. We informed the receptionist, but were told to wait until the next day just to repeat the complaint. 2. No bottled/mineral water was provided. Guests are required to get water from the restaurant, but the water filter is limited..essentially first come, first served. 3. The food pricing seemed inconsistent. We ordered tomyam ayam, but were charged for tomyam mix instead. 4. Guests are not allowed to enter the restaurant in wet clothes, yet we were required to return the motorcycle key at the receptionist counter located inside the restaurant. 5. After returning from the beach (about 700m away), an uncle, i don't know if he is one of the owner or staff member, shouted at us and warned us not to walk past the restaurant. His behaviour was very rude and unprofessional (i want to share his picture, but change my mind) Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.

Water pressure for the shower is very low, dirty and polluted. Too far away from the Jetty and additional charge occurs for transferring by local van. Too many monkeys around the resort results your personal belongings will be lost when you keep outside the room. Very steep walkway and ladders to the room.

I recently stayed at Redang De Rimba and had a generally pleasant experience. The service was excellent – the staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The room was comfortable, and the natural surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. However, the only downside was the food. It didn’t quite meet our expectations in terms of variety and taste. There’s definitely room for improvement in that area.

Overall is ok but walking distance to beach abit far is taking around 18mins .

Kampung life. Food do so at resort. But easy can found at near kampung stall. Not near sea side but walk distance.

Rooms are very small compared what they shown. And if you are here to enjoy Redang island, wouldn’t recommend this place as this is far away from any happening places in Redang. Even beach needs a good walk. Receptionist wasn’t pleasant to talk to either.
