I booked a Seaview room for the second time, and the view was just as fantastic as before. The staff, including those at the front desk, food and beverage team, and security, were all friendly and helpful. I rented a car, and the security staff were always ready to assist us in finding a parking spot. Although restaurants in the area close by 10 p.m., food delivery is easy to arrange, and it’s convenient for them to deliver to the hotel.

I recently stayed at The Westin Langkawi, and it was an incredible experience. Situated right by the beach, the hotel offers breathtaking views that create a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast spread was extensive and catered to a wide range of tastes, ensuring a delightful start to the day. While Indian food was available, the options were somewhat limited. However, the quality of the food overall was excellent. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure all our needs were met. Sadly, this looks like a place that desperately needs renovation. It looks quite neglected, from walls screaming for new paint, to torn bedsheets, to broken pipes in the bathroom leaking water. Also, some things are not as advertised in their profile. There is no 24 hour front desk - in fact, check in is very simple, you come to a desk, and find the key with the sticker with your name on it (it would be nice if they informed guests about this). Also, there is no hot water in the bathroom (even if room description claims otherwise), nor electric kettle in the room. There was also no toilet paper, but after i sent them an email about it (remember, no 24 hour front desk), they brought a roll with an apology. They were nice enough to extend my check out for an hour. But more than just being flexible, i think their business would improve if they invested more into maintenance of the place.

Use waze and give full attention to the road entrance bacause it just a small village road. Maybe they should put signage next to the main road like the other motel did. The place has parking space, the reception were helpful. Its a two storey of motel. The room and surrounding were clean. No mini Market within walking distance but there is fridge selling mineral water and soda provided by the motel. The room were clean, small just nice for 2 persons. The provide only soap so bring your own toiletries. There are air conditioner and water heater. Great location near royal yacht cruise and kuah shopping town.

Spacious room, large car park space, even the building looks old but your room look nice and if you lucky enough can get room with sea view. You can see the ship and ferry from your room. We’ve been regular repeat visitors to Pelangi Beach Resort since the early 1990s, when we used to bring our children. We make a point of driving to other new resorts in Langkawi whenever they pop up.. But nothing compares to Pelangi!! The beautifully landscaped, wooden chalet concept is like living in a village but with fantastic resort facilities. Staff are super helpful, friendly and hard-working. They always make us feel like we’re returning to see close family. We enjoyed the food buffets in the different restaurants, as well as the entertainment (Pelangi Lounge and Pelangi Grill). Not to mention the beautiful stretch of Pantai Cenang alongside the resort. Can’t rate Pelangi high enough, whether it’s for families or couples.

Overall I loved the hotel and would stay there again. The beach there is amazing. The staff and the service were great. But it would be great to organise some activities for the guests, daily yoga, live music and so on. Because it can get pretty boring if you choose a longer stay because there's nothing around. The breakfast is fine but not 5 star hotel. More varieties would make it better. And the check-in is very late, I arrived after 1 and had to wait till exactly 3 pm. It was raining so couldn't really enjoy the outside. In general it's a nice hotel and I'd recommend it

My stay at the St. Regis Langkawi was underwhelming. Despite the high price tag, the room was average at best, with outdated decor and amenities. The service was lacking, with slow response times and a lack of attention to detail. I arrived with my guests for a short 3 days 2 nights getaway. It started when we arrived we were told the hotel is experiencing high occupancy and was told to wait till it was past check-in time for check in. We were also told to check daily with the concierge to see if we could get a late checkout. We booked 3 rooms but in the end only 2 were granted the request. I was told to wait at a meeting room while waiting for my guests from the other 2 rooms which I rejected. After repeated requests with the concierge the manager stepped in and put us at another room with default while waiting for our guests. The breakfast staffs were excellent and prompt in delivering world class service. However the dining options were overpriced and the overall atmosphere felt impersonal. I expected more from a luxury hotel like the St. Regis, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. I told the manager that I might not consider St Regis Langkawi again.

I booked 2 rooms for the water villa suit. I request for lower level room due to old folk in families. 2nd floor room seems old & smaller, but need go through staircase to reached the room. 3rd floor room looks new, larger room and have nicer view, but it was dirty in the balcony. The rooms is far from the lobby and all facilities, but they provided 24 hours buggy service. Staff giving a fast response when request any bell service. Overall still good since we only stay for 1 night. Staff is helpful and friendly.
