Very pleasant staff, class cafe on the first floor, there is a 24-hour registration, we arrived at 3 nights and we were settled! There is a veranda on the street) the room itself was clean and pleasant: there is everything stated in the hotel description. There is no refrigerator and safe, but in general we were told that valuable things can be left in the room and the truth was all right! Every day they cleaned, updated water, towels. There was not enough hangover in the closet. I recommend!

I quarantined here with my friends from February 2nd to February 6th. I understand this hotel is very cheap (even for Indonesian standards, I guess), but I did not appreciate finding hair everywhere from others in both my bed and in the bathroom. The walls had, what appeared to be water damage/mold. The toilet seat was old and disgusting as well. Now, I may be a bit bacteria freaked but I'd say that this was a definite low. I understand Indonesia has been heavily affected by the pandemic, but you'd assume running a ”quarantine-hotel” would bring in some kind of revenue to at least clean the rooms properly. In comparison to other quarantine hotels, this is cheaper than most. Still would argue the bare minimum of cleanliness is expected regardless of how cheap it is.

Great location. The hotel is currently under renovation, so one restaurant is down and the other is quite small. The best thing about this hotel is the variety in breakfast options. Other than that, the bed and pillows are quite firm, too firm for my liking. The rooms are old and could need a proper deep cleaning. The couch and bench were full of stains and quite dirty. Wifi worked well, and the hotel Had plenty of restaurants nearby.

This Hotel is ok for a onenight stay ..stayed for 3 nights tho.The check in was good easy fast.The room I am afraid to say was not good ..the taps were leaking the toilet cistern was leaking and the extractor fan did not work.When the blinds were opened you looked at a concrete wall. The reception was advised an employee came and changed the taps..nothing else was fixed.Was told on last day we could change rooms but could not be bothered. The breakfast was good typical Asian and no change each day.The staff were excellent.There are steep steps upto the hotel so it is necessary that staff are there to help.It is a budget hotel and that is what you get

They claimed themselves as 4 star but nothing felt like it. 1. We arrived at 2pm something but the room was not ready, it was okay but the front office said they have no idea how long should we wait for the room because the housekeeping said they couldn’t make sure of the timing. As far as I know, all housekeeping in any types of hotel have their own standard cleaning time, so the front office staff just made it up and keep frowning at me. I was also frowning and instead of keeping it professional they also get upset at me, both of them. And I am not exaggerating. The management can check in cctv. Finally they said our room was ready at 3.18pm without bathmat and towels. But it was okay, we just left the hotel without showering because it was too long to wait for the fresh towels and bathmat. 2. The review we read from other guest was true, it’s better to keep the curtain closed because when u open it then u can see the walls have uneven colour 3. Bed sheet are dirty, bathroom dirty, the floor and walls slippery. The towels were ripped. We stayed for 3 nights, I supposed they could give us better because in 3 nights we can notice everything. The slippery part in the bathroom were cleanable but they did not clean them. The toiletries only a couple of toothbrush provided with soap, and liquid body wash and shampoo. Oh and hair dryer attached. 4. The breakfast, not much choices around for a 4 start hotel. 5. On the second day, first breakfast we noticed we had some redness and itching around or body. We thought it was just mosquito bites or food allergies so we went to pharmacy nearby (thank God for that) and bought some medicine just to found out that there were BED BUGS. Amazing for a 4 star hotel. 6. The information board in the elevator was just a printed paper, a bit ripped. So stingy for a 4 star hotel 7. The only thing good about this hotel for me personally were only the FnB STAFFS, HOUSEKEEPING STAFFS, the room was spacious and i enjoy spacious room, location wise well very good, and price was okay. I guess we got what we paid then. Shout out to the hospitality from the FnB and HK team. Unlike the Front Office that supposed to greet us welcomely and nicely, they gave us frowned face and talked to us with bad manner. Again, I was upset because they were only nice for 1 minute and when I asked for the check in time they get upset and talked back at me. They sad “we cannot make sure what time you can check in” “If we say in 30 minutes but still not ready then we will be wrong again” like, are you serious? You guys are the front office but cannot put the right act. And this is a 4 star hotel, at least act like one. Very disappointing experience.

Amazing front desk, Amar and reza were very helpful during my stay and upgraded my room to deluxe queen. Amazing location too, close to everywhere. Itbis close to the the main train statiun, gambir. Near many place of interest. All in all I had a very pleasant stay in stanley hotel.

When we showed up we thought the lobby looked lush, we’re backpacking around Indonesia at the moment and booked this as a budget option before we fly the hell out of Jakarta and thought this will do. Unfortunately was really disappointed and have not slept a wink. When we arrived we had the piss taken out of us by the reception team, the lift has no emergency button, glasses were filthy, fridge didn’t work, window wouldn’t close so let a world of mosquito’s in overnight, and the noise, oh my god the noise. The people above us, I’m not sure if we were just unlucky or what but the people in the room above were walking around all over the place with shoes on until well past 4am. We have 2 more nights here and I’m hoping we’ll be able to change rooms due to mozzies and noise upstairs but I will be very much looking forward to leaving this place.

Beautiful hotel with its greenery and winding pools. Location is excellent along a not too busy street. The reception was attentive to our needs. Assisted us when I needed medical care, there is a hospital nearby. They kindly extended our check out time as our flight was in the evening. Breakfast spread was excellent and so was the in room service. Thank you.

Location very good and easy access to services, food & beverages. Breakfast has a huge range of options both local, Asian and Western but would be nice with a basic self service coffee and juice bar also. Staff overall nice and helpful. Rooms are a bit worn and rather small given the price though seems most other options in the area are also very expensive.

Stayed 2N in a 1BR (Rm # 2201) - the worse accommodation I've encountered in Jakarta where reputable hotel chains I've stayed before are always clean and pleasant. The stay looked unpromising upon getting the key cards in a very well used and yellowish looking jacket (ok, forgivable if is a sustainability effort in a post covid world and in a property where hygiene and decent upkeeping is obviously of lower priority perhaps?) Things started going downhill after I stepped out of the lift to be welcomed by the mouldy patch and peeling paint on the common corridor walls and ceilings. More to dislikes upon stepping into the room: - First impression is that it hasn't been in used for a while with blast from 80s decor - Strand of hairs on the sink top, bed, desks... everywhere in plain sight - Very used and dumpy looking sofa that doesn't felt too clean - Bedsheet isn't too clean with prominent old stain when you flip over the quilt - Old and dirty looking dryer with few packets of partially used washing powder - Yellowish looking switches with dirt and grime collecting around the corners - Standing shower isn't working as is leaking at the back with weak pressure - Balls of dust and peeling paint could be seen everywhere in the room - Wall and ceiling paints were peeling off here and there - Rain water could seep through the living room window causing the floor around the window to be wet - Final straw was the dirty and smelly fridge causing the lapis legit I bought from nearby Mandarin Oriental to reek of a terrible and unwholesome freezer stench Horrible, not recommended and a total rip off at S$250++ per night!

Good: great hotel, friendly staff, nice rooms with nice views, great rooftop and pool, easy check in, delicious breakfast Bad: although saying to use towels more than one day for sustainability, they were exchanged everyday. Electric problems led to switching on the tv in middle of every night. They weren't able to fix that problem.
