Grand Mercure Jakarta Kemayoran

Overall stay at the hotel was great. The hotel is really grand and impressive. Location is not that good but with the readily available taxis this did not pose a major problem. What I really like was the comfortable lounge where u can just chill out. Also, like the breakfast. Good variety of local and western dishes. Quality very good. Overall I like the hotel. Value for the $.  Would surely give it my first choice for 5 stars hotel accommodation on my next visit to Jakarta if the pricing remains somewhat the same.

Reached late int he evening, there is only 1 convenient store within walking distance. No cafes or restaurants. Room service is available but I didn't explore.

Stayed here for 2 night for business purpose. Room was spacious and clean, however sighted few cockroaches in the room. As there was'nt enough guest for Sahur (fasti g period), the buffet breakfast was not available for me on 2nd day. They offeresd 1 breakfast set instead.

Room is comfortable size, bed is good. Poor water pressure in the shower, sauna facility is down. Not easy to get food in the surrounding area, need transport to access other area.
