onlybluesI finally have some time now, so I'll leave a detailed review for everyone's reference.
The rooms and facilities are quite complete and relatively new. I saw some comments saying that the parking lot, guest rooms, and breakfast area were scattered and hard to find. I think it's actually fine; as a resort-style hotel with a central courtyard, it's easier to navigate than detached villas. It took about 20 minutes to walk around and get my bearings. The underground parking and restaurant are served by the same elevator.
The front desk and concierge service were unremarkable, lacking a bit in smiles, quite bland 😊.
Breakfast is served until 10:30 AM, but even at 10:15 AM, dishes were still being refilled, and the variety was quite rich. We didn't want to go out for dinner, so we ordered a set meal. The food was excellent, and the portions were huge; we couldn't finish it all. The service at the Chinese restaurant was very good, with staff consistently demonstrating the professionalism expected of a high-star hotel. Special commendation to the uncle at the outdoor BBQ, who was very enthusiastic and reminded us to watch our step when we passed by at night.
There's a hot spring, but I didn't get to experience it. All three swimming pools are great, and the water is very clean, which the kids loved. Overall, if you're tired of ocean views, it's definitely worth staying for two nights.

Guest UserLet me start with a conclusion. The Qixianling Anlan Hotel is absolutely perfect for families with children, a great choice for all ages. Firstly, the environment is friendly. Everything you'd experience in a tropical rainforest at Yanoda, you'll find here. Secondly, the service is friendly. They provide electric cart transfers for all your movements, saving you the effort of climbing hills. Thirdly, the comfort of the hot springs. We booked a suite for 4 adults and 1 child, which was perfectly spacious. The indoor hot springs were comfortable and enjoyable, allowing us to relax at our leisure. Fourthly, the activities are abundant. Unlike beach resorts in Sanya, the activities here are suitable for all ages, primarily focusing on Li culture. You can make Li incense, sculpt Li pottery, and they offer guided introductions to tropical plants and Li culture led by Li sisters. They even picked ripe figs for us to eat. For people from the north and children, the experience is truly enriching. Fifthly, the food is excellent. When in Hainan, it's usually vinegar pork or seafood. Here, we enjoyed Li cuisine, including Five-Legged Pig and Flying Chicken, which was the most satisfying meal for me, with the wild vegetable soup being a particular highlight. The whole family enjoyed it immensely, the set meal price was very reasonable, and we added more dishes. Besides the good points, there are some minor drawbacks, mainly that the hotel has been around for some years, so the facilities are a bit outdated. I stayed at Bird's Nest thirteen years ago, but if I had to recommend, I'd suggest Anlan more. You get a similar experience for half the price, and I'd also recommend staying for two nights for a more suitable visit.

Guest UserThe facilities are decent, but I'm deducting points for two things. First, as shown in picture 1, a staff member told me I needed a swimming cap after I got into the pool, which I completely understand. I immediately left the main pool and played with my child in the kiddie pool. However, half an hour later, a group of people arrived, and two men among them were happily playing in the pool without swimming caps. The staff member was right there but didn't say anything. What's the deal? Double standards? Second, after checking out and about to get into my booked Didi, the front desk stopped me, saying my room payment had been mysteriously refunded and I needed to pay again. Although their attitude was good, why did it take three days, and they only noticed it when I was checking out? Luckily, my Didi driver was very nice and patiently waited a few minutes.

Guest User✨ Haikou Parent-Child Hotel | Top of the List, and Deservedly So!
This was our first time in Haikou, and we decided to check out this Sheraton because it was ranked number one. The experience far exceeded our expectations, and the value for money was truly outstanding! 👍
Our family room was thoughtfully decorated. It happened to be our child's birthday, and they even kindly prepared a birthday cake – so many thoughtful details!
The kids' pool was huge, and our little one had a blast splashing around, giving us parents some much-needed relaxation.
The breakfast and dinner buffets offered a rich variety of options and were incredibly popular. With kids, having so many choices made meal times easy and convenient.
The hotel also provides a travel photography service. Of course, you want to capture those precious family moments during your trip! 📸
⚠️ A small tip: Outfits for the photoshoot require an additional fee, but the photographer was excellent at engaging our child, and the candid shots turned out lively and natural.
This trip put a perfect end to our summer vacation. If you're coming to Haikou with kids, you can confidently choose this hotel. We'll definitely pick this place again next time!

My name is Chloe
We stayed for 5 days, and some of the front desk staff had a really strange, even arrogant, attitude! Whenever we went to the front desk with a question, they acted very superior. On our first day, the pool water quality was quite poor. On the fifth day, when we went for a swim again, the water was much clearer. I asked a staff member why the water was so good today, wondering if they had changed it. They said they hadn't changed it but had turned on the circulation filter. So then I asked, 'Why wasn't it on the previous days, and only today?' They just stayed silent after that 🙊! Also, the breakfast – we stayed for five consecutive days, and the breakfast was basically the same every single day. The only thing that changed was the stir-fried vegetables; everything else was identical!
However, the hotel's scenery is really beautiful, and the landscaping is great. Plus, there's a hot spring ♨️ available every day, and they actually change the water daily – I specifically observed that. Taking a dip in the hot spring during summer is quite enjoyable.

An established Pullman 5-star hotel.
The public areas of this Nanyang-style resort are beautifully designed. The in-room amenities and decor also exude a strong Nanyang vibe. This Pullman has been around for a while, so the elevators and in-room facilities have a vintage feel. However, the overall maintenance is quite good, and they still function well enough.
The room isn't huge, but the layout is nice. The large mirror and hardware in the bathroom are very high-quality, showing that the hotel put thought into its selections. The mattress was too soft, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
Room cleanliness was very good. The toothbrush is made of bamboo, and the toothpaste comes in paper packaging, which I haven't encountered in other 5-star hotels. It would be even better if the bristles were softer.
Overall, the cleanliness and service were good. At breakfast, dishes weren't refilled quickly enough after running out, but the view outside the restaurant is fantastic. The pool and hot spring areas are also very beautiful.

I brought my child along for a short trip, and the experience was fantastic value for money. Ctrip offered a great price during this period. The breakfast and regular buffet had a wide variety of authentic dishes, which I really enjoyed. The hotel's location is excellent; opening the window reveals a sea view where you can see across the strait.
Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, with multiple indoor and outdoor swimming areas, which my child absolutely loved. They mostly wanted to play within the hotel grounds and didn't want to go out. The beach is just across the road, which is super convenient.
Hygiene: The room was clean, and housekeeping was prompt. As an environmentalist, I don't advocate for waste.
Service: The service was attentive, and the front desk staff were warm and thorough. Seeing that I had a child, they proactively upgraded our room. A big shout-out to Xiaomeng! This level of service is often something state guesthouse-type hotels do better than international chains – they proactively helped with luggage, taxis, and hotel activities, which was great for a family with a child.
The experience was truly excellent, and I'll definitely bring my wife here next time.

RuinuoNAStraight from the airport, I headed to the guesthouse, arriving late in the evening. The moment I walked in, I was captivated by the elegant and tasteful courtyard.
As the first stop of my trip, staying near the Nanshan Temple scenic area offered a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. The charming, staggered courtyards, adorned with flowers, birds, and lush greenery, along with a tea room and a pool, looked absolutely enchanting under the night lights.
The staff were also very welcoming, and the room was incredibly comfortable with very soft bedding. Staying here was simply a delight.

We went in mid June, rainy season so it was low season. For the price that we paid for the 2 bedroom villa, which included breakfast (at another hotel) entry to ocean park, The Five Country Hot Spring City, and personal shuttle bus service within the island. I think it was well worth it. Service was prompt and courteous, although communication was all through WeChat and in Chinese. Convenient but knowing sone Chinese would be better to utilize services . We stayed in the Japanese style villa, and it was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We especially loved having our own dry and steam sauna, and our own personal outdoor hot spring bath! Real hot spring mineral water! I recommend this place especially for people who love hot spring baths and want to avoid busy touristy hotels.
Cleanliness: overall quite clean.
Location: walking distance to ocean park and hot spring city, so quite convenient. 5-10 minutes shuttle ride to most places within the island.
Service: knowing someone is available 24 hours was nice. They were eager to help with whatever we needed. The main concierge during the day was more friendly, competent and experienced.
Amenities: everything we needed was provided. There was a Dyson hair dryer, fridge etc. If you are picky about your shampoo soaps etc, you may want to bring your own. But they do provide them.

Guest UserThe lobby, restaurant, and other public areas are quite grand and luxurious. In contrast, the rooms are too small, and the facilities are just average. However, the interior decor creates a nice ambiance, with different themed rooms featuring unique design styles. The hotel boasts 5,000 rooms, yet there aren't many guests. Why couldn't they have just made the rooms bigger?
