Our family trip to Chaoshan included a stopover in Zhangzhou Old Town on the way back, and choosing to stay at the Xiyue Minnan Courtyard Hotel within the old town was an absolutely brilliant decision. We had an immersive experience of the red-brick Minnan courtyard style. The entire hotel was filled with thoughtful details and craftsmanship everywhere. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony sipping tea, practicing a couple of sets of Baduanjin on the Nanyang-style terrace in the morning, and taking a brisk walk around the old town after dinner in the evening. It was truly serene. Although there isn't a private free parking lot, parking was still extremely convenient with a shuttle service. The hotel's staff (the 'xiaogēgē' and 'xiǎojiějie' – brothers and sisters) even vied to help us with our luggage and shared recommendations for food and sightseeing routes. They made us feel right at home while also giving us ample private space and time. Right outside the hotel is a food street, and the鷺嫂灌蛋 (Lù Sǎo Guàn Dàn) across the street, as well as the 'runbing' (spring rolls), 'sanjiaoguo' (triangle粿), and 'lúmiàn' (braised noodles) nearby, were all delicious. If we ever get the chance to visit Zhangzhou again, we'll definitely book this hotel.

My family and I stayed at this hotel on November 5th. The Chinese-style decor was unique and tasteful, the room was cozy, and the view from the window was beautiful. It was very clean, and the complimentary fruit and shochu added a special touch. The breakfast also featured many local specialties; we could eat our fill of fish balls and 'rou yan' (meat swallows). The front desk staff were very friendly and the concierge-style WeChat communication was incredibly convenient. Since my elderly family member uses a wheelchair, they even specifically guided us through an alternative, very accessible pathway. We had an excellent stay. The hotel is just a few steps from the scenic area, making it feel like you're immersed right in Sanfang Qixiang. I highly recommend everyone to experience it!

Booked this hotel for a get-together with friends and it turned out to be fantastic! They even had a shuttle car to pick us up at the intersection. The staff at the hotel were super enthusiastic, giving us great recommendations for food and activities. The hotel is located right in the ancient town, so there are tons of dining options nearby. We booked a balcony room, and it was spacious enough with a really lovely, big balcony. The only minor drawback was the absence of hand soap at the sink in the room.
Service: The hotel staff all had professional smiles; some were genuine, while others felt more perfunctory, which guests could clearly notice.
Environment: The highest hot spring pool hadn't been cleaned; there was moss growing on the bottom, making it slippery, which was a concern since we were with an elderly person.
Facilities: Xiamen is still quite hot in December, so it's a bit hard to understand why the rooms don't uniformly provide air conditioning.
Hygiene: At the buffet, I picked up a plate that had obvious dried-on food residue stuck to the bottom.
Perhaps because it was a rare trip with an elderly person, my expectations were higher, but overall, it wasn't as good as my last experience here.
I'd like to commend the staff member in the hot spring changing area at 3:30 PM on the 6th. As soon as I entered, they asked for my number tag and guided me, thoughtfully brought a waterproof phone pouch, and showed me the way to the hot spring area. Also, the security guard in the takeout area near the entrance at 7:50 AM on the 7th proactively helped hold the cabinet door when I had a lot of items to pick up. And the parking attendant or security uncle at the entrance at 1:00 PM on the 7th, when we were checking out, saw the elderly person walking and came over to help guide them, reminding them about the small steps. I only managed to get a photo of the hot spring staff's nametag, but I've provided the times for the other two staff members. I hope the hotel can convey my thanks to them. 🥹

Toiletries: The amenity kit included cotton pads, and the bath products came with conditioner, which is very thoughtful for female guests.
Mineral Water: The room had four bottles, all from Jing Tian (a brand).
Bathtub: A disposable bathtub liner was provided, and the tub looked very clean.
Pillows: Both firm and soft pillows were available, which was a nice touch.
Breakfast: When I asked the front desk, they were very professional and patiently explained the breakfast options.
Parking: Parking is right at the hotel entrance, but you have to turn into a service road, and it's easy to miss. I hope the intersection could be marked more clearly. The front desk attendant was very proactive and enthusiastic in helping guide me to a parking spot and checking me in.
Suggestions: Rooms with bathtubs could include bathrobes, and for double occupancy, two disposable bathtub liners should be provided. The hairdryer should be replaced with a regular one; the hair dryer provided by this B&B dries hair very quickly, but it has a burnt smell and can burn the scalp, so I was a bit scared and hesitant to use it.

I paid economy prices but felt like I was staying in a ”mini-luxury” hotel! The front desk staff was incredibly thoughtful; they proactively upgraded my room for free upon check-in and thoroughly explained the hotel's facilities. They even told me the Wi-Fi password without me asking, truly thinking of the customer's needs! Opening the room door was a pleasant surprise: it was spacious, well-lit, and offered a wide view. A disposable bathtub liner was already placed in the tub, making a relaxing soak instantly melt away my travel fatigue. The next morning, the breakfast restaurant was also amazing – with a full spread of hot Chinese and Western dishes, freshly ground coffee, and seasonal fruits. The highlight was the local 'laohua' noodle soup; a hot bowl on a cold day was incredibly satisfying!

The location is super convenient. It's not far from Shouxu Park, perfect for a stroll or bike ride. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, and it's a quick taxi ride to the old town for local snacks.
The room was genuinely spacious and bright; even for the type I booked, it felt very roomy. The bed was plush, and the pillow height was just right, ensuring a truly deep sleep. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, and hot water was instant. The toiletries were Shangri-La's own brand, with a refreshing scent, and felt lovely to use. Drawing back the curtains revealed a decent city view, and the sunlight streaming in during the day made the room warm and inviting.
Service was impeccable; every staff member, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, was incredibly polite. During check-in, the lady at the front desk had a sweet smile and even proactively offered a late check-out (which I didn't end up needing, but it was a very thoughtful gesture).
Breakfast offered a rich variety. You absolutely must try the local Putian braised noodles (Lu Mian) and wonton-like dumplings (Bian Shi); the Lu Mian, in particular, had a truly authentic flavor, even better than some small local eateries! Western options like bread, bacon, and yogurt were also available. All ingredients were fresh, and I left feeling very full and satisfied. The restaurant environment was clean, and the staff were very diligent in clearing plates, so you never had to wait.
The hotel also features a swimming pool and a gym. The pool water was very clean and the temperature was just right – kids would definitely love it if you're traveling with family. The gym was well-equipped, making it convenient if you wanted to get a workout in. Additionally, there are hot springs nearby, perfect for a relaxing soak.
Overall, it offers excellent value for money. Whether you're visiting Putian for leisure or business, this hotel is a perfect choice. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip!

Enjoyed my stay in this charming Fuzhou ME Hotel and will definitely choose it again when in Fuzhou. Hotel was opened in early 2025 & the room layout was like a home.
Room - There was a walkin closet and a very large bathroom👍🏻. Our 2 single beds can accommodate 4 persons(it can be a slight squeeze). It can accommodate two luggages comfortably.
Amenities - innovative with cute descriptions. Their toothbrush is one of the better quality hotel toothbrushes.
Bar - enjoyed the ambiance and good music, although drinks menu didn’t have wine by the glass but by the bottle.
Location - a pretty central next to Shibu underground train stn exit D and bus stops close by. Good mom & pop 小吃 outside the hotel for breakfast. Luckin coffee & a bakery is within the block or two. There’s also a Walmart nearby for overseas visitors to do your bulk grocery shopping.
Staff - very courteous and helpful, although some spoke very little English.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and a thumbs up. 👍🏻
During the wonderful trip with friends, Longjiang Hot Spring Hotel gave us a big surprise
The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is clean and comfortable, and the surprise is the small yard bathtub outside.
The hotel is very large and very quiet. There is a hot spring and swimming pool inside. We got great relaxation here.
The front desk little sister, handsome guy and butler service attitude is very good, timely response and effective solution of all problems
Taxi is very good and can be solved within 10 yuan. There is no need to live in the noisy ancient city and urban area.
Highly recommended, I will choose here again next time I come to Zhangzhou
An absolutely fantastic hot spring resort experience! There's a great variety of outdoor hot spring pools, and with the family play area and fitness center, it perfectly caters to everyone's needs. The service is incredibly thoughtful; from check-in guidance to the hot spring reception, the staff were consistently smiling, patient, and went above and beyond to help with anything we asked. The facilities are new, the environment is beautiful, and the value for money is outstanding. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back again!

GGuest UserThis is the our first visit to Fuzhou. I traveled with my husband and my mum. I booked 4 different hotels for a total of 9 nights in Fuzhou. Narada is the second hotel.
We stayed for two nights at the private hot spring wing. Was given free upgrade upon checking in. We were then driven to our rooms by the lovely front desk lady, Xiao Li (前台小李). She is very professional, super helpful as the moment we got out of the cab, she carried all our baggages. Throughout our trip, she is always there to answer all our questions and is very warm and personable.
The next morning, we then called the front desk for the buggy to pick us up to the main hotel side for breakfast. The spread is very good with both Chinese and Western cuisine. The chefs are very nice and approachable. I want to take this chance to thank the restaurant waitress, Chen Hong (陈虹). Every morning we were greeted by her superb service. She shared with us about the culture, food and places to go in Fuzhou. She really go out of the way to make us feel welcomed.
Checking out was a breeze too. We just called the front desk and leave our keys in the room and head off. We then made our way to next hotel nearer to the city centre. We were shocked by the condition as the surroundings and the exterior of the hotel looked so rundown and dirty. We then decide to go back to Narada. We were again served by Xiao Li (前台小李). The moment she saw us, she immediately came to us asking if there’s anything she can help us with. We told her about our horrific encounter at the other hotel and she helped us arrange for 2 rooms at the main hotel side. She even brought us up to see the rooms before committing the stay. We also met Chen Hong (陈虹) while waiting for the rooms, she was empathic and recommended other local places and events. We were so impressed by the rooms, the hospitality and the impeccable service by Xiao Li (前台小李) and Chen Hong (西餐厅陈虹) that we decided not to move in to the city centre and stayed here for 7 more nights before our flight back to Singapore.
Big thumbs up to Narada Resort & Spa, Shoukai, Fuzhou. The people there are truly amazing. Thank you very much!

YYiqitiaowu~I booked the Banyuashan Hot Spring Hotel through Trip.com for my holiday, and it was absolutely worth it! From booking to check-in, the process was seamless. The front desk handled everything quickly, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The room itself was clean, tidy, and had a cozy atmosphere.
The hotel's hot spring area was truly exceptional, with over fifty unique pools. The water was crystal clear, and after a soak, I felt completely refreshed. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, both Western and Chinese, catering to all tastes. Plus, there are several attractions nearby, making it very convenient to get around. I sincerely thank Trip.com for helping me find such a fantastic hotel; I'll definitely rely on them for my next trip!

KKelvin OeySpace Pod Capsule (white UFO shaped) rooms are not available. I was clickbaited with the picture shown on Trip.com app.
The check-in counter said that the capsule room we booked isn’t ready yet, so they gave us an upgraded room, which is turned out as a normal square (apartment vibe) boring room. (Check my pictures) Boo-yah!
When i explore the area, i found the space pod capsules in a restricted area & don't think they're operating them anymore (just as the glass slides).
Stand-outs:
+ the Receptionist & concierge are very friendly & english spoken!
+ the Hotsprings are tremendous, 50 ponds in total of outdoor & indoor ponds. (consider to start visiting by the time it’s opened which is from 2:30 PM until sunset around 6PM). Then continue to dine at the restaurant afterwards. We took ab 4,5hours to finish all the 50 ponds lol. This is like a (man-made not natural) Hotspring Wonderland!
+ kids-friendly which is smoke free & we required to wear swimsuit (unlike japanese onsen which req us to be totally naked).

GGuest UserRiyuegu Hotspring Hotel is definitely a MUST staycation. They offer excellent accommodation, especially for expats like us. From the moment we arrived, we were well taken care of by the friendly and accommodating staff, who made sure all our needs were met with a smile. The rooms are incredibly spacious, providing great comfort at a very affordable price. The amenities are top-notch, with highlights including a relaxing hot spring, a beautiful pool, and a luxurious bathtub—perfect for unwinding after a long day.
The only improvement I’d suggest is to offer a wider variety of breakfast options to cater to different tastes. Overall, Ryuegu Hotspring Resort provided a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend it for both short and extended stays!
