I checked into the hotel on the first day of Fuzhou's cold snap in January 2026. My 70-something mother was extremely satisfied with her three-day, two-night stay, calling it her first trip of the New Year where she truly 'lived within Fuzhou culture'.
The hotel is perfectly located in Wenfurong, right in the heart of the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys. Stepping out, you're immediately immersed in ancient alleys, the famous 'heart-shaped tree' photo spot, and various Fuzhou snacks. Evening strolls were particularly enjoyable. Despite being in the center of a tourist area, the hotel itself was surprisingly quiet, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle.
The hotel is a charming conversion of an old Fuzhou traditional house (gucuo). Upon entering, you're greeted by a strong sense of scholarly elegance and historical charm. The courtyards, carved windows, and koi pond are all exquisite; every corner offers a picturesque, ancient-style photo opportunity. The front desk service was also very thoughtful; they proactively helped with luggage and patiently introduced nearby attractions and local delicacies, which made me feel very welcome.
We were upgraded to a courtyard room, which had a beautiful antique feel with meticulous attention to detail. It featured wooden furniture, screens, tea sets, and even a few books about Fuzhou family culture, creating a truly immersive experience. The toiletries were from Clarins, a nice quality touch.
Breakfast also deserves a mention. It offered authentic Fuzhou specialties like Rouyan (meat wontons), fish balls, Laohua (local noodle soup), and taro paste desserts. The taste was very authentic. The only minor issue was that the restaurant was a bit cold due to the sudden drop in temperature in Fuzhou, but to our pleasant surprise, on the second day, we found foot warmers provided, showing great thoughtfulness in their service.

The room was very clean and tidy. There are many great places to eat and things to do nearby. The service was excellent! (Just an FYI, the original review also mentioned 'Zhangzhou Pinghe Specialty: Baiya Qilan Tea' and '20% off Zhangzhou Puppet Show tickets (with booking assistance)' which seem like additional offerings, not part of the hotel review itself.)

We chose this hotel for our trip to Fuzhou with the kids. The room was really spacious, and I loved having a walk-in closet to hang up all our outfits. The vanity and makeup mirror were a thoughtful touch, and there was even an outlet nearby, which was perfect for using my hair straightener. During our stay, it happened to be my birthday, and the hotel surprised me with a cake and a handwritten card – it was such a warm gesture. The hotel's location is super convenient too; it was a short taxi ride to all the attractions, and there were tons of great food options nearby. Plus, if you order takeout, a robot delivers it right to your room quickly. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
This hotel is located by the Jiulong River, directly across from Zhangzhou Old Town. It offers the charm of the old city while providing a peaceful escape from the crowds. From the moment we arrived, we felt the staff's genuine care. The porter brought all our luggage to our room, and Zhang Jingyi at the front desk thoughtfully upgraded our room and gave us a detailed overview of the hotel's facilities. The hotel breakfast, in particular, felt just like home. Cai Chunhua from the Chinese restaurant enthusiastically introduced local delicacies like Shima Wuxiangjuan and Liuao sweet potatoes, patiently bringing each dish to our table. Guests not only get to savor unique local flavors but also learn about the food, making for a truly rewarding experience.
Our first stop during the National Day holiday, we randomly booked the Pien Tze Huang Hot Spring Hotel, and after staying with our 1-year-old, I immediately want to recommend it to all moms!
The staff are genuinely attentive and provide excellent service; their attitude is truly nice. We booked the Little Yellow Duck room, and the view was fantastic. I also have to praise the fact that there are air purifiers everywhere in the hotel!!!!! That really put my mind at ease! All the amenities for little ones were also great, and it was so convenient for him to run around barefoot. Overall, the place felt clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the overhead shower didn't work when I tried to use it.
I usually worry about my 1-year-old not having anything to eat when we stay at hotels, but here you can pre-order kids' meals. My little one even got to try Fujian's characteristic Mianxian (vermicelli), and their baby food's beef had a milky aroma – it was really delicious! What a shame I didn't get to try the Mianxian at breakfast though!
The hotel's environment is also very comfortable, not overly luxurious, with greenery everywhere. The air felt fresh just walking around. Plus, there's a park right next to the hotel, which is really nice.
We only stayed one night, but it felt more comfortable than staying for several days. Next time we visit Zhangzhou, I'll definitely choose this hotel again. It's so rare to find a hotel that can make a mom with a baby feel so worry-free!

It was my first time to visit Wuyi Mountain. I chose this Wyndham Hotel. It was as good as always. It is a garden-style hotel with a large area. You can see the mountain outside the window. The front desk upgraded me to a deluxe room. It was very quiet to sleep at night. It is worthy of the five-star standard. The room service is also good and friendly. I will come again next time.

The room was clean and tidy, making for a comfortable stay. The hotel's location is excellent, convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. The front desk staff and the doorman were also very friendly and helpful.
The hotel's overall style is more traditional, and the facilities aren't brand new. There's no self-service laundry, and the hairdryer is an older model, which takes a while to dry hair. Also, during peak dining hours, many guests order food delivery. With a limited number of delivery robots, you might have to wait a bit for your food to be brought to your room once it arrives. If you're in a hurry, it's something to keep in mind.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to walk to Sanfang Qixiang. Minwang Temple is also nearby and well worth a visit. Next to Minwang Temple, there's an alley with several local eateries that are great to try. Being on a higher floor, the hotel offers nice views. The only minor drawback was that the night light in the room was a bit too bright, which affected my sleep, and I couldn't find a way to turn it off. I hope the hotel addresses this issue.

The shangri-la putian is conveniently located opposite a huge shopping mall and beside a garden. The room was nice and cosy and the service was attentive and impeccable, with Melvin (?) accompanying us to the room and constantly asked if we needed help with anything. All the staff were friendly and helpful and gave us many suggestions on where we could go during our stay and rarely have we experienced such excellent level of hospitality when staying at similar hotels. The river view we had was amazing. Food at shang garden was tasty, and Lydia's service was excellent, offering us extra snacks and soup. The portions served were huge and reasonably priced. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Putian!

Very Good
CChidaobaoThere was one staff member, 'Jingjing,' who particularly stood out. She was incredibly dedicated in her introductions and very good at solving problems, leaving a fantastic first impression of the hotel. When checking out, I encountered several housekeeping staff, and one lady in a black uniform was also very kind, repeatedly reminding us to call for the shuttle. I believe she might be a supervisor in that area. She even spoke Fuzhou dialect with my mother. I will definitely arrange future events here. I'm so satisfied that I wanted to write a bit more – these excellent frontline staff members are truly an asset and the management should definitely retain them.
MM516831****This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The environment is beautiful and the service is excellent. First off, the room was spotless, and the lighting was comfortable and not harsh on the eyes. The bathroom also had a great wet/dry separation, which I really appreciate. Secondly, the breakfast was varied and nutritious, and you could even pack it to go. Since I was in a hurry in the morning, I just grabbed some food to eat on the way, which was super convenient. The hotel service was also great; all the staff were welcoming with smiles, and you can even store your luggage there. Thumbs up! 👍
YYiqitiaowu~I booked the Banyuashan Hot Spring Hotel through Trip.com for my holiday, and it was absolutely worth it! From booking to check-in, the process was seamless. The front desk handled everything quickly, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The room itself was clean, tidy, and had a cozy atmosphere.
The hotel's hot spring area was truly exceptional, with over fifty unique pools. The water was crystal clear, and after a soak, I felt completely refreshed. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, both Western and Chinese, catering to all tastes. Plus, there are several attractions nearby, making it very convenient to get around. I sincerely thank Trip.com for helping me find such a fantastic hotel; I'll definitely rely on them for my next trip!

MM40184****Absolutely amazing! This hot spring hotel made our stay incredibly blissful. From the get-go, the grand design and luxurious materials earned full marks, and it's not just for show. They've genuinely put thought into the functional layout from a guest's perspective, making for a truly comfortable and relaxing experience. Whenever you think of a feature the hotel might offer, it's as if they've already anticipated your needs – the details are everywhere! Beyond the superb facilities, the service is professional and attentive. Almost any guest request is handled satisfactorily, which speaks volumes about their management. What initially drew me in was the incredible infinity sea view. I happened to wake up before sunrise and glancing out the window, I couldn't help but revel in that serene blue moment! The hotel's location and orientation are fantastic! And the room type and package we booked this time felt like incredible value for money after using them!

GGuest UserEnvironment: The environment of the hot spring hotel that ranks first is really great. From the internet-famous infinity pool to the cave hot springs in the hot spring area, they are all very photogenic and beautiful.
Service: All the stars are for the waiters in the hot spring area. Because we took a bath at night, they reminded us to pay attention to safety and handed us hot water. When we took pictures, they also gave us some light. The waiters in the locker room also prepared towels in advance. The whole process was very proactive service, which must be praised. The hotel's service is also good, but it may be a little negligent because there are few people, but it is still within an acceptable range.
Facilities: The 2-bedroom and 1-living room was upgraded. The layout and facilities are the same as the photos, but the location is really better. From the window of the room, you can see green everywhere. The oxygen ions are definitely enough. The air in the mountains can give you a good relief.
