Initially, I thought it was just an average hotel, nothing spectacular. However, the service truly stood out and made me feel right at home. Check-in was fast and efficient. When they heard we were tourists, they proactively offered recommendations for nearby attractions. After completing the check-in process, the front desk manager personally escorted us to the guest room elevators, which made us feel incredibly welcome. Upon entering the room, there was a plate of welcome fruit on the table. Taking a bite, it was sweet to the taste and warmed my heart. When I requested a few extra bottles of water, a robot promptly delivered them. Throughout the hallways, lobby, and restaurant, the staff consistently greeted us with smiles. Before check-out, Ms. He at the front desk kindly asked if our stay was satisfactory and offered us several bottles of mineral water, suggesting we take them for our journey due to the hot weather. You could truly feel their genuine care. From check-in to check-out, I consistently experienced the warmth of the staff. Although I hadn't heard of this hotel before, after staying here, I genuinely felt that staying at a Junlan Hotel gives you a wonderful sense of home!

The hotel is centrally located with easy access to public transportations, such as buses, train stations, and the subway, the famous hot spring park is nearby. There are abundance of restaurants within a short walking distance. While the hotel amenities may not have been updated to five-star standards, it was clean and spacious enough for a comfortable stay. The breakfast selection was great. The check-in process and English communication were easy. Overall, I found this hotel to be a fantastic value for the price.

Our family had never been to Xiamen before, so we weren’t quite sure where to stay. We are absolutely thrilled with our decision to choose the TUI BLUE Royal Oceanview Hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. Check-in was smooth and the reception staff were incredibly accommodating and welcoming, even with the language barrier. The hotel itself is absolutely breathtaking, and the friendliness of the entire team—from the hotel chauffeurs to the wonderful waitresses in the breakfast restaurant—made us feel truly at home. We booked two rooms, and both were immaculate, beautifully maintained, and incredibly spacious. We were especially impressed by the hotel management’s attention to detail and how attentive they were to our needs as guests. We also loved spending time at the enormous and beautiful outdoor swimming pool and the hot springs. To make our stay even more enjoyable, the reception staff and manager went above and beyond by helping us arrange bookings for Underwater World. Our family had such a wonderful experience, and we would definitely consider returning in the near future. Thank you to the entire team at TUI BLUE Royal Oceanview Hotel for making our first visit to Xiamen such a memorable one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

囍舍 Suite 【Ambiance】Tucked away in a traditional Fuzhou ancient house courtyard, this hotel exudes charm with its classical Chinese architecture. White walls, wooden structures, red lanterns, and couplets create a picturesque setting. Koi fish gracefully swim in the courtyard pond, and ancient trees and rockeries offer a beautiful scene at every turn. The guest rooms feature an elegant and grand new Chinese-style decor, with carved mahogany furniture and antique canopy beds, seamlessly blending traditional aesthetics into the living space. Opening the window reveals the serene courtyard view of the ancient house, creating an incredibly peaceful atmosphere, as if living within a painting of old Fuzhou. 【Facilities】The suite is spacious, with a well-designed separation between the living room and bedroom. The furniture is meticulously chosen, and the soft furnishings are exquisite. The lighting and air conditioning throughout the room are excellent, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and tidy. The hardware is well-maintained, ensuring a high level of comfort for guests, whether for drinking tea or entertaining visitors. 【Transportation】Located in the city center, it offers convenient access to nearby old streets and attractions, which are not far away. It's easy to get around by taxi or car. While centrally located, it provides a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, without compromising convenience for travel and sightseeing. 【Service】The staff are gentle and polite, offering attentive and thoughtful service. Check-in instructions are clear, and responses are prompt. The attention to detail is evident, reflecting the warm hospitality characteristic of an ancient house guesthouse. 【Breakfast】Authentic Minnan-style breakfast is provided, with flavors that align with local characteristics. The ingredients are fresh, making for a comforting and nourishing meal. Overall, this ancient house suite is truly unique. It's not just accommodation, but an immersive experience of Fuzhou's traditional culture, perfect for vacations and relaxing stays. The experience far surpasses that of an ordinary hotel, making it highly recommended!

This extended stay felt even more authentic. The hotel staff were all excellent, especially Ah Jiao, who helped me with several issues and was very enthusiastic. I'll definitely be back next time. The internal facilities are comprehensive, making it suitable for both family trips and business stays, with a grand feel. It's also spacious enough for drying clothes. The ground floor is very expansive, and having breakfast there is quite comfortable. The breakfast is abundant, and they even offer authentic Zhangzhou specialty breakfasts, which shows real thoughtfulness. In other hotels, I usually only get steamed sweet potatoes for breakfast, but here I had roasted ones for the first time – very considerate! Highly recommended! I used to think that foreign-owned five-star hotel chains paid more attention to detail. However, I'm starting to believe that, like other industries, the future holds opportunities for local hotel brands. Chinese people better understand the personalized needs of other Chinese people, and local operations have an inherent advantage that will surpass foreign brands in the future. However, there's a small detail I'd like to kindly bring to the hotel management's attention: I took my two children to the swimming pool on the fourth floor in the afternoon. I estimated there were about 30 children in the adult pool. Although there were parents, there was only one lifeguard, and that lifeguard was eating in a corner for over 15 minutes. This is extremely dangerous and poses a significant safety hazard. So, beyond the basic excellent service that garners good reviews, it's crucial to meet five-star standards even in unseen, subtle areas. This is where the progress in the differences between Chinese and Western management truly lies.

This hotel truly values its online guests. Shortly after booking, I received a call asking if I had any special requests. They upgraded my room, sent a fruit platter, and provided turndown service. The facilities are high-tech and smart. I thoroughly checked the room, and it was very clean. Breakfast was also plentiful. This is the first time I've given a hotel a 5-star review! The service was incredibly thoughtful. Lainey Li from Shangri-La Putian provided exceptional service. The staff at check-in were friendly and the process was efficient. At check-out, they meticulously verified my information, showing professionalism and attentiveness throughout. My stay was excellent and I highly recommend it.
