ZiyouyanmaiThe location is excellent, right near Kokusai Street and very close to the monorail station, making transportation super convenient. There are lots of great restaurants nearby, and both the rooms and common areas are very clean. Plus, there's a kitchen available for cooking.

Very nice place for backpackers. I was able to meet many new people. They have some kind of a deal with a local diving company, so when at the hostel you can book diving or snorkeling and get some percent off the price👍🏼

Radmila KhasanA good hotel with all the amenities. It is located in the center of the capital near the shopping streets. The rooms are clean, good cleaning, I recommend.

I chose this guesthouse because the price was ideal and it looked beautiful in the pictures.
Staying here turned out to be an amazing experience, and it's a wonderful guesthouse.
First off, the location is superb. It's a short walk from the bus terminal, which is the last stop for buses from the airport. The ferry terminal for trips to the remote islands is also nearby. Right in front, there's Ishigaki Village, a place with restaurants and standing bars.
Pretty much everything else was within walking distance too.
The owner, Shingo-san, is very kind, and you can tell he genuinely wants guests to have a good time.
They had events like BBQ and curry (or ”Yuntaku” as they call it?) for guests to enjoy, all offered at a very reasonable price. Of course, participation was optional, and you could choose whether or not to eat.
It's a great option for budget travelers, and getting to meet and befriend travelers from various countries was the best part!
The dormitory room was exactly as pictured – clean and comfortable.
Thanks to the minimal rules, there were no unpleasant experiences, I guess.
Even as a first-timer in Ishigaki Island, I got lots of tips and was even taken to places.
It made for wonderful memories. I'm glad I chose this place!

Thai happyA cute hostel with vintage vibe. The staff is very nice and friendly. I was especially satisfied with the location because there’s a big supermarket and drug store right in front of the hostel. American Village is within walkable distance as well. Super convenient. Hair dryer, hair conditioner and laundry service are available. Overall I enjoyed the stay here.

Bad things:
- This place is quite far away from city, 12mins driving distance to closest convenience shop
- You must own a car to go there and the driving way to there are nearly no street light, very dark
- The room quite small, it is nearly not possible to live for two people
- Some inserts appear at night but really so clean inside the room, you just have to close your room door asap whenever you open at night
Good things:
- All the things are super new and clean
- Quiet, and it is super comfortable to live in the forest with good facilities
- Cozy bed, strong water and electricity supply
Overall:
I think this is a good place to stay if you do not mind to drive in a dark night. And super recommend someone who wanna taste living in forest with urban city living style (can charge your phone, watch tablet and take a good shower)

Hello_trip
Only the best impressions from staying in a hostel. How to visit a Japanese house with good hosts. 💖 You need to follow the rules so that everyone is clean and comfortable: sort the garbage, do not enter the house in shoes, it's easy. In a separate fenced room there is air conditioning, a clothes hanger, a futon, a pillow and a light blanket, that's enough. There is a shared refrigerator, you can fry toast, shower and toilet separately for men and women. There is a good store next to the hostel, a place for snorkeling, you can buy coffee. From the airport you can get there by bus 7 or with a transfer first by bus 9, then bus 7. If I can, I will come again!❤️

It’s a big hostel, essentially only two rooms. Full of special rules for each little thing. The set up of the rooms is really weird because the locker is in a completely separate area, so it really doesn’t make sense to use it. It’s kind of like a gym locker. The top bunks sharea ladder which is incredibly uncomfortable to use since you need to coordinate with 3 other people use a ladder.

Guest UserHygiene: Super clean!!!! This hostel far exceeded my expectations, even compared to many hotels I've stayed in. I'd even say it's cleaner than some hotels! Plus, air fresheners were working the entire time, so there were absolutely no strange odors. It was clean and hygienic, and the front desk lady was very friendly!
Environment: The environment is excellent. It's right by Kokusai Street, and transportation nearby is very convenient.
Service: The service is super friendly. Breakfast is served every morning, and the staff constantly checks if the food needs to be refilled.
Facilities: I really want to ask the host what brand the air purifier is. I'd like to get one myself.
Initially, I was hesitant about staying in a hostel, worrying it wouldn't be clean enough, but this place completely changed my mind! My stay was absolutely fantastic!
