Very Good
GGuest UserThe owners are lovely, nothing too much trouble. Room is lovely with quality toiletries provided. We were on third floor and the stairs were quite hard, but the room was worth it. May be difficult if you have mobility problems. Nice selection of tea coffees and hot chocolate. Good WiFi. Beautiful white bedding and towels. Location is great. Only downside was the walk to the reasonably priced longstay carpark in the blistering heat. Not good for people with mobility issues. There is a more expensive car park closer. That said we will 100% return and use the closer car park. Breakfast was lovely. We paid for room only but there was a selection of bread, yoghurt jams etc and pastries available for us included. All locally produced. (we just paid for our coffee and breakfasts on menu) Wonderful weekend had by all.
RRHSW6The Running Horse is a very good personable country pub with rooms which are very well appointed with comfortable beds.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly and we had a business lunch in their semi private room which was simple but excellent.
The only reason I marked them down a little was because of several carpet stains that I do feel should be removed - or if not removable then they should put in a new carpet as they were large and off putting.
Highly recommended!
GGuest UserThis hotel was really a pleasant surprise: I wasn’t expecting this given the name of this place. They only had a basic reception setup, but the meals were great and the attention to the finer details in the room and the space was impressive. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I’d be happy to stay there again.
GGuest UserThe High Corner Inn has been a favourite of ours for years, but since we last visited there has been a change of management and it is even better. Welcoming, helpful staff, very dog friendly with free tennis balls, excellent food, cleaner than before, and a lovely atmosphere. Thank you so much to everyone for making our stay so delightful.
AART787Conveniently right round the corner from Rowlands Castle Rail Station, great location for Stansted Park. Friendly service. Tasty cakes/dessert and generous portions. Live music on Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday where some requests could be taken. Accommodation is above the pub but noise insulated so it was fine if you wanted to rest.
GGuest UserThe staff were very attentive and allowed us to check in early, They gave good advice on surrounding amenities, and were helpful throughout our stay. Although our room and shower room were was small, they were both clean and very well presented. The food in the pub was of a good standard and we were made to feel very welcome.
GGuest UserFriendly, lovely fresh breakfast in the morning made to feel very welcome live music in the bar on a Saturday night great blue blues band you could hear the bang quite clearly in the room but we were so tired. It didn’t matter if I hadn’t had my daughter I would’ve gone down and enjoyed the music.
PpinkrachNice cosy rooms above a pleasant pub.
It accepts dogs but didn't feel it was very dog friendly as no access for dogs to go for a wee, no dog bowls or anything dog related in the room even though the dog was booked in. Friendly staff and the food at the pub was tasty.
GGuest UserIt’s very close to the Piggy Page Paradise. I don’t know if it’s recently, but it’s really close. It’s within walking distance. The room is clean, but it’s not as comfortable as the hotel. There are no toothbrushes, toothpaste slippers, and there is no front desk. You need to go to the gas station for 20 minutes. Buy, But the hotel itself is like a small restaurant, eating and drinking are also good, if you go to Piggy Page Paradise, it is very good to live.
