GGuest UserHi we just wanted a hotel within close distance of Reading town centre on a budget. It had all that we needed but could have done with air con. The staff were very accommodating and listened to any needs of customers.

What is not great: 1) sound insulation is poor. You can hear conversations from outside the room clearly 2) wifi from room is not great (it is great from the public area) 3) it’s a bit secluded so don’t expect shopping nearby

JJacp91Was a lovely stay, room is an old converted cottage, big and comfortable beds and wonderfully clean bathroom. The staff were friendly, chatty and helpful in every way. 10/10 will recommend anyone to stay here and hopefully will beck again one day.

GGuest UserAccommodation in the local bar. The bar downstairs is in the direction of Eton in Windsor. It is very quiet. The bed is suitable for two people. There is no elevator. The wooden stairs are relatively narrow and retro. milk. A very quiet town and more comfortable than London ~ 10 minutes walk from the train station. Dinner in many bars is very good👍

It is a cozy small hotel, the room is newly renovated, very clean and elegant.
Free parking is available, and there are several restaurants in the town but not many choices.

GGuest UserI like this hotel very much, very special, the restaurant breakfast is a la carte, but the bread blueberry yogurt is free. The room also gives two bottles of glass bottled water for free every day, but it is not mineral water, and it is also the drinking water of the locals. The hotel is in the small town of Newbury, the surrounding environment is beautiful, there are many English country villas 🏡, I saw a good heart 💗. I just want to enjoy the rural scenery different from the city 😄

BBegumThe only thing I have to say is the TV didn’t work properly no sound to it & froze most of the time & the shower water goes all over the floor apart from that we had lovely quiet stay
