We were there for the Luisenfest and thought it was great. Everything in the room was clean and very hygienic. Of course it's a house from 1884, which means that not everything can or should be perfectly renovated (broken). But that's what makes it so special. Great people work there!
Breakfast is everything you need without any unnecessary things and only costs €8.50. You can have breakfast inside or outside, which I particularly love. WiFi was so-so, but there were a lot of people logged on.
From the balcony I had a full view of the festival.
The location isn't far from the main attractions, and it's an affordable hostel that makes travel accessible to everyone, allowing them to experience the joy and collect memories from their trips. I highly recommend it to anyone planning their next adventure!

The room was very simple, because the reservation was late, more than 500 nights were still public toilets and bathrooms. I don't know much about the consumption level in Dresden and I don't know how other hotels are.
The location is very good, the hostel is clean. But there is only one toilet and one shower for the whole floor. Also my room didn’t had a door, and it was very loud. There are lockers in the room, which would be better if they were outside the room, because it makes also a lot of noise.
This place is in the middle of the city centre. Such a convenient location. Its so beautiful and too good to be a hostel. The staff was super friendly and helpful too. Definitely recommend. They do have a breakfast on the lounge and gave a 10% discount on my first drink in the bar, which i find pretty awesome.
Frankly, it's a very budget-friendly and convenient hotel. I'm giving it 5 stars because, overall, it truly exceeded my expectations, especially with its cleanliness and tidiness. However, do manage your expectations, as it is, after all, a very economical hotel.
The staff were again the absolute best I've encountered in a long time. Top notch friendliness, and attentive. Always ready to assist in a human way, rather than throwing the rule book at you. Comfortable bed and spotless bathroom as always.
