Posted on Jul 15, 2026|Bed in Chaohua Zhiya Female Six-Person Room (Private Bathroom) (Female Only)
Anonymous UserPros:
1) Separate floors for women and men; this floor is exclusively for women, which felt very safe.
2) The room was relatively quiet, and the owner provided guidelines, including a rule against using hair dryers after 11 PM (though someone still used one that night – there's always a bad apple).
3) Slippers were provided at the entrance, and the bunk also had a towel and disposable toiletries, which was a thoughtful touch.
4) The owner also provided detailed photo and text directions via WeChat, making the hostel easy to find.
Cons:
1) The bathroom was directly across from the six-bed dorm room (the yellow curtain in picture 1 shows the dorm on the left and the bathroom on the right). The bathroom doesn't have a main door, so whenever someone used it, the flushing sound was clearly audible in the two adjacent rooms. I heard intermittent flushing at past 1 AM, and even heard my bunkmate sigh.
(Obviously, you can't restrict bathroom use, but the owner could consider improving soundproofing.)
2) As soon as I opened my room door in the morning, I smelled a strong odor from the bathroom across the hall. It was quite off-putting (again, likely due to the bathroom lacking a main door).
3) The shower room also doesn't have a main door and is right next to another room. If someone showers late at night, the splashing can be quite noisy.

A welcome sight in an unfamiliar place. Not too hard to find. One of only a handful of accomodations in this large, town ”under development” Though we had some communications challenges that was solved by thw first front desk reception lady using the weixin translation app. She kindly directed me to the best restaurant in town for lunch - by taxi, as there are few fanguan nearby. Convenient 6 minute walk to the train station through the underpass.
A taxi can be arranged to go the single major local tourism site - Kehan (khan) Shan. It is only partly in operation, but the surroundings are inspiring
Accessories in room were completely adequate and clean. I expected to be on second floor, but not. Some noise and cigarette smoke carried through the corridor, but this happens.
There may be larger binguans in Holingol, this was fine for me. Excellent value for the price.

Had an amazing stay at Hang Gai International Youth Hostel! Three of us stayed and the hostel itself was just what you need - comfy bed, hot water and in a great location to explore the city (you can get subway, taxi or cycle/ebike pretty much everywhere). But what made the stay so good was Hanggai and the amazing trip we went on to the grasslands. Hanggai is a fantastic hostel, very friendly and welcoming, and we spent an evening at his place a few hours drive for the hostel; as you can see by the photos it was a beautiful location and super quiet. Would definitely recommend! Thanks again Hanggai, we had a great time! 😊

Pros: Excellent location, it nearby the metro and many bus stops, and it’s easy to find especially with the hostel’s help (so text them in advance!). The room itself was great and the hostel provided: bed sheets, a towel, tooth brush and tooth paste, slippers, a fan, and some cups. In the bathroom you can find shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, hand soap and most importantly toilet paper (sometimes). There’s also a water boiler and a washer. I like the concept of do-it-yourself here, which is made possible by the hostel.
Cons: There is only one toilet and shower which are in the same room so finding the right time to use it may be a challenge. Additionally, the toilet is a squat and usually smelled really bad so beware! Only trash cans in the hostel are the ones by the door entrance and bathroom.

There is free airport transfer service. If you don't want to be picky when you're out, just get as much sleep as possible. The boss's service is good. There was no towel in the room and someone was sent to deliver it in 5 minutes. There is a restaurant at the door.

Overall, it's okay, the service attitude is very good, and the check-in and check-out procedures are very fast. The room is not too big and is well organized. Generally speaking, it was quite peaceful to sleep at night. However, the air conditioner makes a sizzling sound and the quality of the bedding needs to be improved.

MeiqimingyuexiasiLet's start with the positives. The location is great, right off the main road not far from Moerdaoga town, making it easy to find. You can tell the entire estate was thoughtfully designed; the wooden cabins are unique, spacious, and the surroundings are lovely. The room's cleanliness and basic amenities were also decent. However, there were quite a few minor details that weren't well executed. In some spots in the room, the floor felt soft when I stepped on it, and I almost twisted my ankle because I wasn't paying attention. The curtains were likely too high, making them difficult to pull. The central clasp was even pulled off, leaving a hand-width gap that wouldn't close. Considering it gets light before 4 AM in June there, this really affected my sleep. Also, due to a lack of experience, it was too hot during the day, so I didn't turn on the AC at night assuming the room wouldn't get cold – I woke up freezing in the morning!

The location of the Youth Hostel is very good. It is very convenient to be a few hundred meters near the new passenger terminal. There is a lot of delicious food at the door. The sheep soup and beef patties in the store on the left side of the door are delicious, and the milk tea shop next to it is cheap and delicious. The hot water in the bath is very comfortable and very big, that is, the hygiene is not cleaned. The impression of entering the room is a bit bad. I don’t know who is on the toilet seat. There are two yellow water droplets or wet. It’s a bit disgusting. I took the water and washed it. There is also a yellow mark on the sheets. The boss is still more enthusiastic.

The entire northern route's cultural landscape seems to be condensed in Enhe Ranch. The room windows depict the Ha'er River, birch forests, pastures, Wolong Mountain, and the Milky Way, and often feature the daily lives of various animals. You frequently hear ”tap, tap, tap” and ”thump, thump, thump” footsteps, which you might mistake for children running around, but are actually adorable chicks and sheep. Slow down, relax; everything here can slow down. Get to know the people gradually. There's no need to rush to be enthusiastic or get to know them. Feeling safe and comfortable in nature's embrace naturally opens your heart, allowing you to feel the warmth and belonging of home. Thank you to everyone I met in Enhe and Enhe. I think I understand why some friends return here every year. Grateful! This is a wonderful hotel that cherishes nature, culture, and every visitor.

Guest UserThe room is very large, clean and hygienic, the location is good, dining is convenient, the service is thoughtful, and it is next to Genghis Khan Square, which is in the central area. You can also go boating, which is great!
