We had an excellent experience here! The location is great, close to restaurants, supermarkets, and Dafo Temple. The non-smoking room truly had no cigarette smell and was clean. The shared bathrooms were also clean (the staff cleans them several times a day). Upon checking in, they sent us files with tips, recommendations, and information about the tours they organize (it's possible to book round-trip transportation to Danxia in the afternoon for 40¥). The hostel staff were very kind and helpful. We felt welcomed and well taken care of here. The only area for improvement would be the Wi-Fi quality, which was slow in the evenings, but this was minor compared to all the other positive aspects. We would certainly return on a future trip to Zhangye!

I stayed in a 4-person room. The room was minimalist and medium-small, with lockers – basic but comfortable. The common area is stylish and inviting, with plenty of seating, cozy corners, plants, kettles, and power outlets, though it’s on a high floor with a glass ceiling – warm when hot, cozy when cold, and the few fans aren’t always enough. The staff at the desk were friendly, laundry facilities available, though no snacks or cold drinks. The area is urban, among regular buildings, so not particularly attractive from the outside, but within walking distance to the museum and the metro station, with a large supermarket and several food options nearby. Overall, a decent place to stay in Lanzhou.

There was no refund if I didn't want to stay. The sanitary environment is average. The bathroom can only be used in the morning. The shower and toilet are together. The smell is indescribable. I wanted to upgrade the room but there were no other rooms. When I checked out, I wanted to get my 100 yuan deposit back in cash, but was told that it would be refunded via WeChat. However, I witnessed with my own eyes that foreigners can get their deposits refunded in cash? I asked for the cash deposit back in person, but was told that you can complain about us... Bad review!
