UUmer TaniwalThis was our second time staying at this hotel, and once again, they went above and beyond to make our stay special. We requested a room with a good view, and they graciously upgraded us. The staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us with arrangements to and from the train station and even for our trip to Hongcun Village.
We also appreciated the complimentary drinks and the thoughtful little gifts they prepared for us when we checked out. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so wonderful. We can’t wait to return!
AAnonymous UserIf you're visiting Huangshan and looking for a hostel, this is a great choice. You can see Huangshan Mountain from the backyard. Head out the door, and a short walk straight ahead will take you to the South Gate of Huangshan and the Xiaoyaoyou transfer station, where you can queue directly for the buses to Yuping or Yunguxi Cableways. They also have printed Huangshan maps available. The hostess is lovely and provides excellent service. You can also arrange car rides through her. I stayed here for two nights and met a British guy and an Italian girl. It was a joy to use my broken English to tell them about ways to explore Huangshan and answer their questions.
MMatheus Pinto BorgasLocation is good, walking distance to old town and bus station, the bed is spacious but could be more comfortable. I needed to wait about 15 minutes at the empty reception until checking in, and I had to be the one to ”make a move” and say I wanted to check in when someone arrived there, otherwise I would be just standing there at the reception with my backpack and no one would approach me or say anything. They give bottled water daily, though

TTanner48Good size bed that is comfortable and good a/c in the room. Two lockable storage lockers for you to use as well and shower in the room with hot water and towel provided. You have to make your own bed but don’t be lazy. Nice common area with many places to sit and they play movies every night. The location is good as it’s a 10 minute walk from the park entrance and you are close to many restaurants and shops. Only thing is it’s a 40 minute walk from the bus transfer station but it’s a cheap didi. The town is very senic as you are along a river with a view of the mountains in the background. All other guests were Chinese but some spoke good English and invited me for beers, we went hiking also. Overall nice clean, comfortable hostel with good amenities and services would highly recommend!
GGuest UserI couldn’t say enough about how good my stay in Xidi was. The hostel has such a special atmosphere that you can’t help but relax. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from the center of town, and the girls from the staff are so nice and attentive. I didn’t want to leave! Besides the lovely place where the hostel is located, the touristic part of Xidi is just amazing—it feels like the whole area is one huge artwork - just go and see it for yourself!
Notes:
The place isn’t difficult to find if you have a map on your phone, but be careful with the ditches if you arrive at night: although they’re illuminated, they have no railings.
The 10-bed room doesn’t have a toilet, only a latrine.
Every tourist must pay a fee of 52 yuan to enter the town, regardless of where they are staying.
GGuest UserThis is a cozy and cutely decorated accommodation, which is very well located within the scenic area, so everything you’d want to see is a short walk away.
The workers at this hostel are very kind and helpful. Specially, the volunteer 姓氏 was so sweet, helped me with any questions I had, and went above and beyond! She even drove me and my luggage to the bus station and helped me buy my bus ticket. She also said if I needed help with anything after, that I can call or message her.
Thanks for the amazing hospitality! :)
GGuest UserThis is the best hotel stay experience, you must give the Yuanmeng Hotel a big praise 😘😘😘
First of all, the service is impeccable. The boss sister is kind and kind. She answered questions for us before check-in. She was very enthusiastic. She took the initiative to help us contact the high-speed rail station to the hotel's car and pick us up and down the mountain for free. After check-in, we are responsive and provide us with mountaineering necessities such as trekking poles. Then, in terms of the hotel environment, the room is not luxurious, but it is clean and tidy, the facilities are very new, and the night sleep is super fragrant! Near the hotel is an ancient village. You can also walk in the foothill field the day before climbing. It is recommended that families come to go! The hotel restaurant tastes very authentic. Especially the signature topping noodles, the bamboo shoots are salty and sweet, the shredded meat is not greasy, and the noodles are especially delicious. A bowl of noodles is so delicious that I don't let go of the slap! 😏
In summary, every moment here is very comfortable, highly recommended! Friends who need but have doubts can contact their sister!
GGuest UserThe room was spotlessly clean, and the cleaning lady was incredibly kind and welcoming. The room was huge, practically my dream room. There was a giant projector screen in the middle; I could order milk tea and binge-watch shows in the evening – it was absolutely fantastic!
1118195****This homestay is cost-effective, convenient parking, spacious rooms, there is a restaurant downstairs, and it is convenient to eat. After coming out of the highway, it is Qishu Lake. The proprietress and the little girl are enthusiastic. It is a homestay worth staying in Hongcun.
