Very Good
TTiantianyunyouThe hotel is about an eight-minute walk from the Southern Cross Airport bus stop. The front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful, allowing us to check in early. The room, though compact, had everything we needed. The only downside was the somewhat limited space in the shower. I'd recommend this hotel for those catching an early flight.
GGuest UserVery clean, nice renovated rooms with all amenities including microwave. Very comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of luggage space. Coffee/tea/sugar and biscuits. Each room has it's own designated parking. Reception woman was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be staying again soon
GGuest UserIt's about a 7-minute walk from the train station, and also very close to the boarding point for the penguin tour train. If you need luggage storage, there are lockers (paid use) on the first floor at the back. Our room didn't have a hairdryer at the time, but you can ask the front desk for one.
AAnonymous UserThe free breakfast offered bread, cereal, various spreads, tea, and coffee. What really surprised me was the availability of both regular and almond milk for drinks. However, a major drawback was the lack of privacy curtains on the beds. Also, e-bike charging is prohibited throughout the entire hotel.
KKam Ning CheungThe service is very good and the location is nearby Ballarat Station. It takes about 20 walks to Sovereign Hill. And there are too many restaurants next to there, such as McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Chinese restaurant and Indian restaurant .
AAnonymous UserMy husband was so happy to stay for one night. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The place was quite clean. The place is recommendable
GGuest UserI've stayed at the Admiralty Inn a number of times in the past and usually the stay has been good. On a previous stay earlier in the year, and as I was packing to leave, there was a knock on the door saying 'Housekeeping'. The time was 9.40am (checkout is at 10am) and I just felt I was being pushed to leave. I let it slide at the time as i wasn't far off packed and ready to leave anyhow. However, on my most recent stay in May it was taken to a whole new level. Having in mind my previous experience, I decided to place the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door. My thinking being that this should mean that I wouldn't be disturbed until the 10am checkout. At 8.09am, yes I checked the time, the door to my room opened, no knock no warning, and the housekeeper is poking their head in the door. Whilst I was awake I was still in bed though, but what if I had just jumped out of the shower and no clothes on? The housekeeper did make a hasty retreat saying sorry but I just feel that's not good enough, especially as I had the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door and almost two hours prior to checkout. It makes me wonder if any one else has had a similar experience. When you book a motel room you do expect a reasonable level of privacy but I am now very hesitant to stay at the Admiralty Inn again as I feel I cannot be guaranteed any privacy at all. In saying all this, I was tempted to leave a poor or bad review, but I settled on average as the room itself was adequate for the price. All things considered I think my rating of average is more than fair.
GGuest UserIt’s a very nice cozy hostel, which located close to the beach, tram and bus station. And also close to skybus stop, where you can go to the airport directly.
The bed was extremely comfortable, I like it so much! And there is a bar inside the hostel on the first floor with nice vibe.
One thing there is no elevator, because I had a big heavy suitcase. But the staff helped me to bring my suitcase on the second floor, I appreciated a lot!

GGuest UserI think the facilities are worth the price.
There were two outlets next to the bed, but one of them couldn't fit because of the width of the bed rail and the size of the plug.
I paid $6 for towels when I checked in, and got $5 back when I checked out.
