My recent stay at Casa Moritz in Brasov proved to be a delightful experience. The hotel's warm and friendly atmosphere made us feel instantly welcome, and its location is absolutely perfect – just a short walk from the city centre, making it ideal for exploring Brasov's historic attractions. The rooms, while furnished with somewhat dated pieces, offered comfortable and cozy beds with warm bedding, which was particularly appreciated during our stay. The cleanliness was commendable, and the overall maintenance of the property was good. One minor inconvenience was the absence of a kettle in the room, which would have been a welcome addition for making a morning coffee or evening tea. A small suggestion for improvement concerns the check-in process. The hotel uses a code entry system, which required calling the point of contact to obtain the access code. This could be streamlined by providing the code automatically after online check-in confirmation, saving time and making the arrival process smoother for both guests and staff. Despite these minor points, Casa Moritz offers excellent value for money. Its combination of friendly service, prime location, and comfortable accommodations makes it a highly recommended choice for anyone visiting Brasov.

The place was easy to find on maps. The door has instructions on how to check in as there is three “Ambient” locations, however they are close enough to each other to park at the one you have booked and walk the Pensiune Ambient to check in. Ambient Residence in which i stayed was great. The place had a communal kitchen/dining area, free tea and coffee station on each floor. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the place was clean and tidy. Hot was came through pretty much instantly. It’s located about 25min walk from the old town area. Highly recommend

Very near to the city square, black church, Catherine gate and so on. just a walking distance. The room is big as we expected to the romanian country and also food nearby and drinking or coffee vendo machine is very helpful for us. Staff is very helpful and never leave us unattended. They are okey to message directly or ask them for any question regarding the town since we are a tourist.

Such a charming and beautiful place to stay. The owners made it feel like a home. We were welcome to have tea or drinks in the kitchen at any time and were accommodated so well. We had the most cozy perfect Christmas. The owner even gave us a shot of home made peach alcohol! I would come again anytime. Was exactly what I wanted in a mountain villa.

Good points: good location and clean environment Concern points : distance from downtown. (15~20 lei tax fee) Recommend to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy mountain view scenery. (I expected to see stars at night, but it wasn’t possible due to the many strong artificial lights).

This is truly the best and warmest apartment I have ever stayed in! Highly recommend👍👍👍 My husband and I made an impromptu decision and came here to watch the New Year's Eve fireworks. As a result, when I searched for accommodation, the house prices in the entire city were ridiculously high. Searches on other platforms all started at least 1,000 RMB. Only this one had ”magical” prices. My Italian husband is still doubting, ”Is it reliable?” It turned out that the accommodation environment was exactly the same as the photos, with complete facilities, very clean and quiet, and the experience was better than what he had booked before🤣 The most important thing is that the landlord is a very friendly family. My unreliable husband drove his car and the car got stuck on the side of the road on New Year's Eve and couldn't be driven out. After talking to the landlord for a few words on the phone, he immediately drove over after hanging up the phone, pulled our car out, and enthusiastically drove us around to find restaurants for dinner. On New Year’s Eve when the temperature is below freezing, don’t be too touched when you encounter the helping hands of Chinese people in a foreign land😭 I wish Sister Chen and her family a safe and smooth 2025 and all their wishes come true♥️ The Mengmeng couple almost celebrated New Year’s Eve next to the curb January 3, 2025
