Hotels With Gym in Bagmati, Nepal

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my trip to Nepal. The quality exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, providing a perfect retreat after long days of exploring. The location is absolutely fantastic – right in the city center, which made it incredibly convenient to walk around and shop for local goods in town. What I particularly loved was the proximity to several Chinese restaurants nearby, all offering delicious food at very reasonable prices. The staff truly made our experience special. They were friendly. They were kind enough to store our luggage while we went on our EBC trek.

The hotel is nicely decorated. Checking in and out was a swift. There is a terrace to chill out on the 6th floor. A doable fitness gym and spa is available on the 7th floor. Lift is accessible from 1st to 6th floor. Room is nice with fridge. Iron and ironing board can be requested. Simple breakfast. It could be better tasting with different variety everyday. Extra water is chargeable at 50 rupees per bottle. We stayed on the 2nd floor and cockroach was found on the 2nd day the the toilet. Thankfully we managed to catch it.

We had a lovely short stay in Aarya. Starting off with convenience: by being transported by the vehicle arranged by the hotel from the Intl Airport at no extra cost. This was a lovely touch by the hotel as sometimes travellers may want to avoid the hassle of negotiating with taxi drivers and firms. Then being greeted by the wonderful staff at the reception with khada & a glass of refreshing drink. The check in was smooth and seamless. The hotel itself was remarkably decorated to a classic Nepali ‘Newari’ culture which was very impressive. Located in the heart of Thamel, but slightly away from the drawing music & hustle and bustle of the streets to provide a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that we certainly needed after a long flight. Our room was spacious and kitted out with all the amenities and not forgetting, wonderfully decorated again. The facilities provided in the Hotel, from the Gym to the swimming pool was again impressive considering we were in the heart of Thamel. I particularly enjoyed the view of Sundhara Dharahara and SkyWalk tower whilst running on Treadmill and going for a swim and also the view of Swayambhu whilst doing weights in the Gym. The Sora restaurant at the top floor provided us a majestic view of the city whilst dining both during dinner and breakfast. The glass floor at the dining area was also something unique at the hotel which we have not seen in Nepal. Food was of the highest quality, and we were thoroughly satisfied with dinner and particularly the wide range of options available on the breakfast buffet, from nepali classics such as Sel Roti and Puri to modern cuisine such as Masala Omelette and Sausage & Bacon. Truly a stay to remember and we have already recommended it to our friends and family and will definitely come back to stay here again!! It was a very clean room. It is close to the airport and the view from the room is beautiful. It is a very polite service. There is GYM and the breakfast is delicious. I would like to use it again.

The hotel is conveniently situated right behind of the Garden of Dreams. Just a short walking distance to the busy Thamel area. The vicinity has convenience stores, cafes, eateries and pharmacy. The room is quite small but it's alright for a short stay. The bed wasn't quite as comfortable as other hotels that I've stayed. Very basic fitness facility in the hotel, do wish that they would make the gym bigger and better equipped. The breakfast buffet is good enough for some fuel before heading out to explore. Omelette could definitely be improved but I do like the mushrooms and bacon with my omelette. They also have a soup station which you can pick what you want to go into your soup. The soy latte was nicely done. Some day they serve the chocolate cake which is a must try. Staffs are very well trained and speaks good english. I'd definitely recommend staying here for the value for money, fantastic location and good hospitality.

I had a wonderful stay at Star Valley Hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, Specially Liang(Owner). The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. I especially appreciated the peaceful environment and how well-maintained everything was. The location was also perfect , firstclass security because of Embassy area— close to key attractions but still quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Will definitely come back again!

Excellent location, within walking distance to the Thamel area. It's close enough to be convenient but far enough to be quiet. We were offered warm drinks during check-in, which was a nice touch, especially in winter. The room was very clean and quiet, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a cake for us. The laundry service was also very convenient and efficient. All the staff were very helpful. The gentleman who helped with our luggage even assisted us in identifying our car by its license plate (as all license plates here use Arabic numerals), and the front desk staff helped us book bus tickets.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. We walked to the restaurants and shops, all close by and even to the amazing Garden of Dreams the tranquility in the midst of the chaos. The biggest draw was the indoor pool, it was warm and had a great view of the city. The staff was super friendly and breakfast was amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

Amenities are not sufficient, there should be freeze in room.when some one order something service staff should tell the costomer if things goes too late, I have wait one hour in restaurant for pizza. No apologies nothing that’s worst thing

The room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it. Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out. At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service! Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on. I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw! Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome. All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return. As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?
