The hotel is not quite new, that is obvious. The mirror on the room was missing, broken out by force.
There is no WiFi except in the reception area. The photo of the building shows balconies at all rooms on the photo side. But my room had none.
There was no daily room service.
For the rest it was okay. Well maintained, clean, quiet inside and mountain view from the windows. Small fridge, AC, full working bathroom. (Long waiting for warm water)
The breakfast buffet was great.
The swimming pool in front of the entrance was good. The seating area around poor. I really missed a bigger and nicer area, perhaps garden like around. Especially for I had no balcony.
I would go there again for sleeping and having breakfast. But for holidays I want to have a decent place outdoors as well.

We had a comfortable stay. The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants and bars. The view from the bedroom is pretty and it also has a nice pool. The breakfast was simple, but delicious.

Had a fantastic stay at the Confetti Garden Hotel in Vang Vieng! The staff were super friendly and always happy to help. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, perfect fuel for a day of exploring. The hotel's location is ideal - within walking distance to the night market and plenty of restaurants. Plus, the motorbike rental service made it easy to get around and see the sights. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Vang Vieng đ
This is a gem of a resort! We still talk about our stay here. Probably, one of the best pools I've been in. The views are incredible, the breakfast is sumptuous, the rooms are exceptional, and the spa is fantastic!
The ONLY drawback I can think of is the (approx 15 min) walk back from the center of town (we felt very safe!)
Getting to town center is not an issue as they have a shuttle service (5-7 drive)
But if that is not an issue for you, then just go and stay here and you will not regret it
The room was fantastic, very clean and tidy. The hotel service was excellent, and the pool was spotless. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a wide variety of options, and the price was very affordable. This hotel offers incredible value for money!
The best hotel in Vang Vieng with a convenient location and beautiful mountain views.Â
The room is equipped with expensive furniture made of real Lao wood. A basket with towels is provided for visiting the pool.Â
A variety of breakfasts, both European and Chinese.
On the terrace above the river, you can dine with a beautiful view and watch the soaring balloons and sunset.
We stayed on New Year's Eve, and the general manager Pethantat Polsena organized a gala dinner with great dishes, champagne, a raffle and fireworks.
Excellent guest oriented staff and excellent service!
Had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Mountain View Resort. The view was absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning, and the surroundings were peaceful and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay very comfortable. A great place to unwind and enjoy nature. Highly recommended.

The hotel is on the main street, so traffic until late night. Even if I had asked a quiet room (I know it is not guaranteed) I was given a room over the main street and the funny thing is that the window door was not closing so all the noise was entering, together with smells (pollution and smoke from different fires). Apart from this, room was clean and comfortable. Smell from the bathroom where, in the shower, you only have the tall and fix shower head meaning you cannot just wash your feet if in need, every time you have to take a shower. Unfortunately staff was not so helpful (anyway polite). Pool always in the shade.

The hotel's location is fantastic; it's just a short walk to 7-Eleven and Happy Mango, and there are laundromats conveniently located nearby! It's also arguably one of the cleaner hotels in Vang Vieng, and the front desk staff can speak Chinese. The bedding was cleaner than at my previous hotel, and you can even catch glimpses of hot air balloons. I personally found it to be excellent value for money. Admittedly, the rooms aren't particularly stylish or beautiful, but it's a clean, affordable, and high-value option right in Vang Vieng's city center.

Good Budget hotel in central Vang Vieng. Nice breakfast buffet. Great views from balcony.
Don't miss Sunrise from the public balcony on the 8th floor. You can watch Hot-Air Balloons ascend. Hotel can arrange motorcycle rental. (No license required!)

GGuest UserGood location, near everything, nice swimming pool. Friendly staff and tasty coffee. Only the breakfast is a let down as it is very small and narrow choice. All together it is worth it.

GGuest UserFeel like having fresh mango for breakfast? The fruit selection at the buffet is epic. They have fresh coffee and mango smoothies. The rooms are beautiful, amazing view, bottled water, toothbrushes, even face towels. Quiet air conditioning and there's a ceiling fan too. The beds are comfortable - we got a triple room with 3 single beds- and the power points are right next to the beds. Overall, our favourite hotel for the trip. Oh and the pool is great. We spent an afternoon drinking beer on the beach chairs and swimming.
*We got our own tuktuk back to the train station for 30k each instead of the 50k offered by the hotel.
AAnonymous UserWe had a comfortable stay. The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants and bars. The view from the bedroom is pretty and it also has a nice pool. The breakfast was simple, but delicious.
KkdreidgeThis hotel felt quite run down. We arrived to the lobby with two old mattresses leaning against the wall. The room was big and had lovely views, however, the door had cracks in it that you could see through to the hallway and hear everything going on outside the room. The bathroom is in need of desperate repair. The AC roared loudly on and off all night, the metal from the AC rattled the windows. The sheets did not fully cover the mattress (just a loose sheet on top of the bare mattress, so in the night I found myself touching the old mattress with my hand). White duvet had stains. Pool was really nice with river views, definitely the highlight of our stay. We went elsewhere for breakfast after seeing what was offered. Staff were helpful in booking a tuk tuk and storing our luggage for the day.
GGuest UserVery nice and clean. The bed is comfortable and the wifi is strong. There's more than enough deck chairs around the pool and on the rooftop to lounge at, and to watch the countdown fireworks that the staff launch from the entrance.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming every time I walk past the lobby. The location is very convenient and the breakfast is very worth the price. Other than the buffet on offer (which rotates daily), you can still choose an item off the ala carte menu. They also allow refilling of water bottles at breakfast, which is great for both the wallet and the environment.
Activities and laundry service that they offer are also priced pretty conveniently. I'll definitely stay here again should I come back to Vang Vieng.
GGuest UserExcellent Stay at Kinton Hotel â Highly Recommended!
I had an amazing stay at Kinton Hotel. The place is packed with amenities and the service is truly top-notch. They provided free pick-up and drop-off, which made everything smooth and hassle-free.
One huge plus is their self-service laundry and dryer â super useful, especially if youâre doing outdoor activities or a longer trip. The food was quite good, and the cleanliness was exceptional. On the first day, our room was accidentally missed during cleaning, but they immediately sent someone up as soon as we let them know â great responsiveness.
I also booked via Trip.com, where it mentioned late checkout. The hotel honored that without hesitation, which I really appreciated.
For a city thatâs full of parties and adventures, itâs great to come back to a comfortable, clean, and calm hotel like this. The price is very reasonable for what you get â maybe even a bit more value than you pay for.
If youâre visiting Vang Vieng, I highly recommend staying here. đ
WWarren McLoughlinDO NOT STAY HERE!
If you read the reviews you will see that many people complain about items being stolen from there bags. I have a strong suspicion this is the cleaners and instead of cleaning they are going through peopleâs bags. Upon check in we were warned by the receptionist not to leave any valuables in our room and to take them everywhere with us. Which is not what you want to hear at check in. Anyways luckily we listened to the receptionist as we had seen concerning reviews before staying here. Without surprise our bags had been gone through. Luckily nothing was stolen from us as we were smart enough to remove our valuables. However, still leaving an unsettling feeling knowing items were moved in our bags as they got searched, they even left the zipper in the incorrect position after as seen in the image.
Despite this issue there were also a lot of ants in our room and the room wasnât properly cleaned any time the cleaners entered the room as there were stains left on the counters and floors and I expect the cleaners were too busy trying to steal stuff.
Despite these issues it is not the worst place and the location is good but I think if they just got new trustworthy cleaners then this place would be so much better.
GGuest Userfine for a short term stay. wouldn't call it a resort, but it does have a pool. the rooms are not like on the Trip booking site, only. few select rooms seem to have gotten a renovation.
Te staff however is super friendly and let us move to an upper deck room. the room itself is very old and a bit stuffy. bathroom is super old but was fine for a couple of days. The pool os nice and clean, never too crowded. Breakfast is also fine, nothing special, but the hotel is a close 8min walk to the center where there are plenty of cute and cheap coffeeshops
