I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. One of the best things about it is its incredibly convenient location. The hotel is situated right next to a shopping mall, which made everything so much easier during my trip. Whether I needed food, shopping, or just a place to relax, everything was just a short walk away.
The accessibility to nearby amenities really enhanced my overall experience. It saved me a lot of time and effort, especially after a long day of exploring. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and convenience in a great location.
First time try out. Lobby is nice and cosy except personally I don’t like the room. Soundproofing of the door is terrible and the theme colour of the room I don’t really like it. It doesn’t give out a very good vibes. Gym room located not a good location and it close super early around 8pm??? I didn’t took picture of the room cos I just want to faster get over for 1 night and check out. I won’t be back.
P/s I read from review hair dryer is Dyson brand. It is not. Is just normal China brand. Quality is okay as most things are made in China.
A new apartment hotel in Ipoh. The facilities provided in the room make you feel at home. It's a bit scary if you're a woman and alone, since this hotel is a new hotel, and there aren't many visitors during weekdays. When I stayed, I was the only occupant on that floor. The safety bar function for the parking lot is not yet function. The hotel could probably provide a place to hang clothes since there is a washing machine. Overall, this hotel is comfortable and the location is also close to Ipoh Parade, and near AC Mariott. The food ordered at the cafe is also delicious. Reasonable prices. Looking forward to stay at this hotel again in the future. Suitable for family.
It was our favorite destination hotel. Our third visit and longest stay this time. But unfortunately, no more hot Onsen water....😭
Facility is good. The view is amazing.
But what made us return to this place was because of Onsen. Onsen water should be hot. It was just like a heated pool this time.
I don't know whatever the reason is. If they can't keep Onsen hot, that's not Onsen anymore.
It's so disappointing 😞
残念😭
A very cool and comfortable hotel with a great design. It's small but exquisite, and even features a wet/dry separation in the bathroom, which is a nice touch. A bit of a shame I didn't take many photos.
The room was around 10-15 square meters. The twin beds were basically pushed together, but despite the small space, it still had a welcome card, a mini-fridge, and a small cabinet – everything you need, which is quite impressive. The only minor drawback was the lack of mosquito repellent; my friend's room had mosquitoes, and they got bitten.
The room was clean, the location was good, and the service was fine. However, the front desk gave me a room facing the main road, and the soundproofing of the windows was terrible. It felt like I was sleeping by the roadside all night, listening to motorcycles and cars speeding by. I didn't get any good rest at all. If you have a choice, definitely pick a room that doesn't face the main road, otherwise, forget about getting any sleep at night.

• Couples / short getaways / families

💡 My Advice (Key points)
👉 If your budget allows:
✔️ It's worth staying (one of Ipoh's top 3 hotels)
👉 When booking, pay attention to:
• ❗ Avoid windowless rooms
• ❗ Choose a higher floor
• ❗ You can skip breakfast (Ipoh has better food outside)
Stayed here for two nights. It’s a very old hotel, the hotel management should improve , esp for price its charges ie around RM250 per night . Bathroom walls were mouldy , towel were thin and stained . Room lights were old and cracked . Spacious room.
The daily housekeeping did not clear out the rubbish. Was rigid with the bottle water provided . A bit disappointing . Per room only 2 bottles of 350mls given.
But front desk staff Villa, Daniel were pleasant .
The place is clean and overlooking the park. The space is just right for 8 of us. Easy check in. Thanks for allocating two parking spaces near the lift entrance.
Will be great to have bathroom slippers. The bathroom floor is a little slippery for seniors like me. Please check the water heater, the hot water supply is not consistent.
We were accommodated in a refurbished room which was nice and clean. It’s located at a Din Sum eateries area with about 4 of 5 old time names like Ming court. Famous Cowan Tauge Chicken Rice restaurant is just round the corner.
The breakfast buffet were somewhat limited in choice and wasn’t impressive.
Overall we had an enjoyable stay.

AAnonymous UserService is good, our requests for room services is quickly attended. Facilities are all well maintained. Kids had fun by the beach and also the pools. We visit to damai laut for many years continuously. we felt there is significantly lesser of flies now. The only less satisfaction would be the cookies size has become a lot smaller, and there is reno going on at Makan restaurant sun deck. My favourite spot for breakfast was the sun deck. Hope can done reno soon.
AAnonymous UserThe room was awesome! The view so nice. Can see whole lost world of tambun from balcony. The amenities all good except cannot cook so cooking utensils is nkt provided. But pinggang, mangkuk sudu all ada. In term of amenities, all satisfied.

GGuest UserMarina Island Boat transfer easy, although I feel a little expensive. Coffee was cold, they had wrong check in information and I almost tripped on uneven block surface exiting building to boat. Check in completed at reception , with correction to booking. We were in a lower tropical garden villa, which is cheapest room. We were lucky to have part sea view and part back of pool view. Other lower villas in this category, not so good a view. This said, room was gorgeous, despite dead moth in sunken bath area. All the staff were fantastic and helpful. Chatted to some people in over water villas, who were disappointed you could not swim in sea from villa, nor enter sea from beach around jetty , due to sea urchins. On the other side of the Island is Emerrald bay. Absolutely stunning! Beautiful beach and sea to swim in. Lots of space for sun beds, but everyday ran out by 11am! Suggest they get some more! Forfeited scrumptious in all restaurants.
