GGuest UserThe hotel is brand new, and the bathroom facilities, in particular, are excellent. It's probably the best option near Yamagata Station. It's a 3-5 minute walk to Yamagata Station and just a 3-minute walk to the bus stop (for Zao Onsen Ski Resort) from Yamagata Station. The breakfast restaurant is a famous Yonezawa beef restaurant. You can ask the front desk to make a reservation for you.

Wwozoule2****This hotel is about 1.5 km from Tsuruoka JR Station. The nearest bus stop is 'Science Park.' There's a direct bus from Yamagata Airport, but other bus connections are unavailable, making transportation a bit inconvenient; it's more suitable for those traveling by car. The hotel itself is newly renovated, surrounded by rice paddies, offering a beautiful and clean environment. Breakfast is a Japanese-style buffet featuring locally sourced ingredients. Dinner requires a reservation, as dining options nearby are limited to a convenience store. There are three dinner set menus, which I found a bit pricey, but the food was delicious, especially the bread and desserts. Service was, as always, attentive, and the hot spring facilities were excellent. The only downside is its relative distance from famous Tsuruoka attractions like the Dewa Sanzan mountains and Kamo Aquarium. It's also a bit far from the S-mall bus terminal and the JR station.

Yyuzu-1123I stayed here while sightseeing in Yonezawa! It was conveniently located on a main street, close to a convenience store, and cheap to stay. The rooms are old and have an old smell, and the unit bath is also dated, so I don't think it's for people who want to enjoy a hotel stay as their main focus. It's a good hotel for people who just want to go sightseeing outside all day and sleep. On the other hand, the large communal bath on the 9th floor was nice and clean. It's not big, so you have to exchange your room key at the front desk and then get the key to the large communal bath. There is a baby bed in the dressing room, so you can bring babies. The breakfast was delicious! There isn't a huge selection, but the taro stew was so good I had seconds!

GGuest UserSuperb! The facilities are excellent, service is great, and the location is very convenient. The hot spring is incredibly relaxing. I didn't expect a hot spring hotel not located in the mountains to be this good. The food quality is also good, and very filling. The only downside is that they keep your shoes in the lobby, so you have to ask them to retrieve them every time you go in or out. It's best not to go in and out too frequently.
