I had read a lot of reviews before going there. When I got there, I realized that the hotel's services are beyond the imagination of the guests. There is nothing they can't do. The view is visible as soon as you open the door of the room. You can lie on the platform upstairs in the tea room and the gym to enjoy the beautiful scenery for a whole day. There are many scenic spots around the hotel that Yanxi used to hike in the past. The housekeeper provides 24-hour caring service. The taste and quantity of breakfast and dinner are matched (every meal is full). The convenience of the cable car makes you feel incomparable. It rained heavily on the second day of climbing Huangshan. When I returned to the hotel, I had already checked out. I just wanted to borrow a hair dryer, but the front desk immediately opened a room for us to change clothes and blow dry. I was very touched. It felt like I suddenly found my mother's home in the heavy rain. Staying in this hotel is the best choice for this trip to Huangshan. Perfect

On the mountain
We arrived at hotel wet n cold after hiking on a rainy day. We booked a triple bedder room at B block not knowing that it was away from main building. The hotel staff 纪洁was quick to react and switched us to main building as B block was 5 min away. At 11am, they let us check in so we could change into dry clothes. During the stay,,纪洁attended to us with care and warmth, sending us snacks and fruits, giving us weather alerts to see sunrise n sunset. The room is clean and spacious with comfortable beds n good quality pillows n duvet. Batyun meets our needs during our 2 nights stay n we are happy to recommend to anyone. Location is middle of Huangshan so easily accessible to hiking trails. From Yungu, we hiked the east or back mountains to reach Baiyun. It took us 3 hours. On the day it snowed, the hotel even provide us gloves n crampons n urge us to be careful. What a fantastic service from Baiyun and the staff. Thank you 纪洁for taking such good care of us.

It was a great birthday celebration, our first stay at The Langham Hefei and definitely not our last! Reception staff and the Club Lounge staff were all excellent, very efficient and professional. Room 3406 was well appointed, very clean and good smelling even if it was a smoking room. Cocktail hour at the club lounge was great, very good selection of food and alcoholic drinks. Breakfast at Seasons has a good spread of local and Western food. Looking forward to more stays! We

Hongcun Yushan mountain scenery house is convenienly located near the South Gate of Hongcun Scenic area. We booked courtyard B which is located outside and behind the main hotel complex with breakfast included. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and had a small courtyard, but unfortunately no garden chairs or table to sit outside. In hindsight we woud book another room in the main complex next time. It has a lovely open garden and plenty of outdoor seating. I contacted the hotel before our stay and managed by using a voice translator to connect with the staff on Wechat. A friendly staff member met us at the entrance to the scenic area and entry is free of charge when you stay at the hotel. The hotel staff don't speak any English, but they were very helpful and friendly and we got along fine using Wechat and other translators. I won't recommend eating dinner at the hotel as there are many local Chinese restaurants in the ancient village. The hotel offers a coffee shop in the lobby and has a number of options, like Americano, Latte etc. The coffee is very good, but I felt it was a bit pricey for the cup size. The hotel breakfast is Chinese with no Western options, and it is served in unique way in a tray. I enjoyed the breakfast, but my husband would have liked more western options. On our arrival the room was already pre-heated and the beds in the room were comfortable. It was snowing lightly when we arrived and there were umbrellas available in the room. They also provide vanity items. We visited just before the Chinese New Year tourist rush at the beginning of the holiday and this was a very good location and time to visit despite the cold weather. The ancient village was not too crowded and it was nice to walk around in the evenings and daytime with the hotel is situated conveniently right next to the South lake. Drone flying is allowed which can give drone flyers an aerial view of the village. Depending on your iterinary a one night stay is sufficient to visit Hongcun and the nearby Xidi ancient village then move on to another hotel at the foot or top of the mountain or Tunxi village. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to travelers wanting a good hotel experience in Hongcun.

Perfect stay in this amazing mountain. The hotel is well located. Staff is really available to make the stay comfortable. Hotel has all services you need, you forget that you are on the top of a mountain with no access by road. Good job to all people who carry all the stuff on their strong shoulders ! Room was clean, very confortable bed. On the morning the hotel organize a sunrise tour and you have a special jacket in your room as it is quite cold in the morning. The food is great with plenty of delicious choices. I highly recommend.

Very suitable for children. There are many kittens. It should be a renovation of an old house. When you come to Huizhou, you should live in this kind of Huizhou-style building. The proprietress is very enthusiastic. She helped with the luggage and took us to the hotel. The people in the inn are very enthusiastic. The hot water is very good and the water pressure is very strong. It is very comfortable to take a shower. The small window satisfies my fantasy of Huizhou. I feel great when I open the window every day.

Everything about the hotel exceeded my expectations. From the quality of the hotel’s breakfast and location to the responsiveness of our assigned caretaker: 小河(XiaoHe). Upon arrival I added 小河’s WeChat and was shown - on a map - what I could expect to see given the length of our stay. I was even given information about the likelihood of a clear sunset/sunrise - and when my girlfriend needed it 小河 called the mountain clinic to purchase Pain killers! My favorite part of the hotel will have to be its location. It’s a 30 minute walk from YunGu cablecar, a 10 minute walk from a good sunset/sunrise spot!

Banyan Tree Huangshan is undoubtedly a top-notch hotel. The hotel is strategically located at the foot of Huangshan Mountain, adjacent to the ancient Huizhou village of Lu Village, and the hotel design itself is also an imitation of the Huizhou architectural complex, so being in it is like being in an ink painting. Although the hotel is a bit old, it is well maintained, and each place and room gives people a clean, warm, comfortable and close to nature feeling. Compared with the above-mentioned hard facilities, the service here is also excellent, especially the housekeeper Eima, who arranged the whole process properly and attentively, and maximized the satisfaction and provision of various services, so that we had a very perfect and satisfactory experience at Banyan Tree Huangshan. In addition, other staff including front desk Li Bin, housekeeping Jin Yiming, and every shuttle bus driver, all warmly received and efficiently served us. In short, if I come here again, I will choose to stay at Banyan Tree.

Seamless check in and was introduced to a personal butler LeLe for the duration of our stay. He was extremely helpful and attentive to our requests such as late request for special buckwheat and cassia seed pillows (highly recommended for good sleep). He also gave useful tips about getting around town. Having wechat communication with LeLe helped us feel welcome, with a friend in Hefei and well looked after. 🤗⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐🤗

First time to visit Huangshan! And we can’t speak Chinese, thankfully we found this hotel😇 of all the hotel i called its the only hotel that someone is speaking english, other hotels nearby just hang out at me😭😭 and said no foreigners… We are still on the way to Huangshan but the owner is so very kind to ask where are we and if we need help we can contact them at any time, actually the day prior to our trip😊😇 We finally meet them and welcomed us! We are so lucky to meet the Xiao Family👨‍👩‍👧 and of course there daughter Daisy🌼 They are very generous, offering help in everything 💞 even waking up very early just to bring us in the hospital for pcr test… driving us and fetching us after the hiking… very friendly family and there staffs😊😊 we felt like we are just a friend of the family owner… it’s more than a guests😭🥰 we had tea after dinner made by Mrs Xiao Xie 🍵 in her tea room…the breakfast and dinner we had is very good, we loved it, we finished all the food after the hike😋😋 We also swim at there swimming pool even if its cold, we enjoyed drinking beer and chitchatting with Daisy.. stargazing and enjoying with music… I highly recommend this hotel specially if you don’t speak Chinese and new to the place and reasonable price… also near grocery stores, restaurants and hospital to do pcr,…. It would be a perfect experience for you… and gain friendship 💞 The local people are kind and always smiling ☺️☺️ Even gave us snacks and when we leave mrs Xie gave us snacks to eat on the way🥰 so sweet mother and daughter We are looking forward to visit and stay with them next spring festival 😁🤩 Thank you so much Daisy and to your mom and family💞🥰
