GGuest UserI noticed that many reviews mention the hotel not living up to a five-star standard. However, no one seems to complain that the price doesn’t match a five-star level either. In my opinion, this is an excellent hotel for the price.
The property is spacious, the rooms are fresh and cleaned daily, and amenities like slippers and bathrobes are provided. The staff is welcoming, and the breakfast offers a great variety. From 4 to 5 PM, there’s a complimentary tea and pastries service, which is a lovely touch. The beach is beautiful, with plenty of loungers equipped with soft cushions.
This is definitely a place I would consider returning to.

MMr.ZEZHONGOverall, this beachfront resort offers good value for money. Its biggest selling point is the location, right next to the beach, making access incredibly convenient. The hotel's interior environment is beautiful, offering excellent views, perfect for a relaxing beach getaway. The all-inclusive dinner experience was satisfying, with a comprehensive selection of food, including meats, vegetables, fresh fruits, and a wide variety of desserts, all to my taste. The bar area in the evenings was very popular, with a lively and cheerful atmosphere – having a drink and unwinding there truly completed the vacation experience.
However, there was a significant flaw in the check-in process. I had clearly requested a twin room when booking, but upon arrival, the room type wasn't ready. They had to separate the combined beds on the spot. Checking in took an hour, and waiting for the beds to be separated took another hour. After a long journey, the extended wait before being able to get into the room and rest was exhausting and put a damper on the initial vacation mood. On the positive side, the hotel staff's service attitude was decent; they proactively offered a complimentary late check-out as compensation, which somewhat mitigated the negative experience. If the hotel could confirm guests' room type requests in advance and prepare the rooms accordingly, reducing on-site processing time upon arrival, the overall experience would be even more perfect. I would still recommend it to friends vacationing in the area.

Nomad has a beautiful tropical environment, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the hotel itself feels rather dated, while food, drinks, spa treatments and activities are all quite expensive. In my experience, especially the food quality did not really match the prices.
The hotel app was also frustrating, as many activities and dining options were displayed but could not actually be booked through it.
The beach is beautiful but public, with frequent approaches from beach boys, so it feels less private than I expected.
My main disappointment was the front desk. Trip.com incorrectly showed a 12:00 PM check-out instead of the hotel’s 10:00 AM policy. Trip.com later admitted this was their system error, but I still found the way the front desk handled the situation rather unfriendly and dismissive.
Overall, the environment is pleasant and most staff are nice, but at this price point I believe there are better options in Diani with newer facilities, better food and better overall value. For a similar price, I would choose another resort next time.

JJoe BenjaminsThe construction uniqueness is a breath of fresh air all on its own.
The individualism of the rooms/cabins essentuates and hightens the level of privacy and relaxation.
Even though it is lined across the coast with various other quality hotels, I still got a sence of a private beach with white sand and breath-taking views.
The private pool and the two private jacuzzies either side of the pool with sun lounges also added an exequisite luxurious touch.
The FOOD...Oh my God! High quality stuff.
Very friendly and welcoming Staff (Elizabeth especially, the waitresses and the bar staff were very kind and accommodating)
The room/cabin facilities and layout was the sort of attention to detail i always notice first everywhere i vacation and LalaGalu was exceptional
The Monkeys, yes, the monkeys - were more or less part of the 'furniture' during day time - Absolute lovely stuff!
TWO-Hotels-in-One (BOXO and Galu) One is a container construction and the other is stand-alone wooden structures - something you won't see anywhere least not everyday.
It was not a 5-Star for me, It was a 10-STAR stay for me.

IIgor_S_SI recently stayed at Leopard Beach Resort and Spa and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is absolutely perfect — right on a beautiful beach, offering stunning views and easy access to the water. The resort has many outlets with a nice variety of food, and the staff throughout were very attentive and welcoming.
However, the quality of the room could use improvement. There was some noticeable mold on the walls, and the bathroom is definitely in need of refreshing and renovation.
I also encountered some issues with the restaurant department, which initially left a negative impression. Fortunately, after discussing the situation with the management team, some of the concerns were addressed. I appreciate their responsiveness and hope this feedback will support the resort’s ongoing development and improvements.

Pick up of luggage in a other hotel days before my stay, no problem! Perfect service. Pick up and drop off at the airport, perfectly on time!
Service always with a big smile, and always at your service. The room was very clean every day during my stay. Lot's of food or restaurant choice. I enjoyed the wide variety at breakfast. Really an excellent place to rest after an intense safari trip ;-)
And what about the views, sunrises, sunsets, you name it, breathtaking...
Went diving, so many thanks to my buddy Evans for a great morning of diving around the island...
This was the perfect stay to end my adventure in Kenya, a big ASANTE Chale...

MMathNerdSwahili Beach Resort is a great all inclusive resort in Diani Beach in Kenya. It's perfect as a base for staying in the area, with everything you need included. The rooms are spacious, the staff are incredible (and I mean incredible - nothing is too much trouble for them, they are so polite and will really go to great lengths to help you).
The only issue is that if the resort puts you in a room that is different to what you've booked (in our case, we booked a Standard room and we got given a Superior room), it can be difficult for them to find your reservation in their backend systems.
So ensure you go in with printed proof of your reservation and payment, and eventually it will all get sorted.
Otherwise, it's amazing, the Dawa drinks are top notch and the rooms are spacious and inviting.
