Excellent conditions overall. The staff are friendly, and the place is very clean, tidy, and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here. Plus, breakfast is free, and the kitchen is quite spacious. There are lockers under the beds where you can secure your bags and valuables; just ask the front desk for a key for 5 euros. Very satisfied!
We stayed on the 5th of September. It's a beautiful hotel.
We enjoyed everything about this place except the unbearable heat in the room. It was impossible to sleep. There was a portable fan but it was very noisy. And even when it's on, it wasn't helpful. No air conditioner. We had a very poor sleep.
And no matter how much we enjoyed the gym, swimming pool, food, friendly staff and the atmosphere of the hotel, we would not stay here next time.
Great place to stay and we enjoyed ourselves. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Definitely coming back again for the comfort, services, breakfast and free parking.
Nice hotel, But I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathtub. When I added hot water to the bathtub, a lot of dust and even a hair came out.
I had to wash and rinse the tub several times to get it clean.
I understand that hotel service is low in Ireland, but this is a 4-star hotel. The price for rooms is high for Europe. It would be great, at least nice to clean.
Breakfast was great, delicious.
The room was completely different from the uploaded pictures. The pictures showed two beds, but there was only one. We had to add another room at the last minute. The hotel offered a much lower price than the platform suggested, which was very disappointing.
This is a wonderful Hotel. We are getting married and had our reception dinner there as well as put family up there for the night. The service, staff, food and facilities were great. Will most certainly recommend this place to anyone.
Easy check-in & receptionist is very helpful with our enquiries regarding the area
Room was ready & comfortable bed
Great restaurant lovely food & plenty of variety of meals to choose fromÂ
We will recommend to the highest quality â
This is an older hotel that opened quite a while ago, located at the entrance to Galway, which is a great spot. There's public transportation nearby, making it easy to get to the high street. The breakfast is a classic English breakfast and tastes authentic. The staff are friendly and helpful, able to answer all our questions. The price is also fair and reasonable. I'd recommend it for a short trip.

Very Good
HHappy Trip@worldThis is my terrible experience during my Ireland trip. No aircondition, double lock out of order, iron doesnt work When we reported those issues to reception, no fixing, no room change arranged. 10mins later, they sent me an iron đ
As viewed, the hotel lobby is nice & good beakfast. Hope they have improvement in future. đ
AAnonymous UserGreat place to stay and we enjoyed ourselves. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Definitely coming back again for the comfort, services, breakfast and free parking.
GGuest UserWe were given a beautiful room  over looking the Circle of Life garden and the sea further on. See photo. Noise from jacuzzi below was bothersome in the morning and I had requested a quiet room, which it was apart from the engines bubbling below. Service in restaurant was incredibly slow for breakfast. Breakfast offering was good; not much pastry wise, but lots of fruits, gorgeous cheese, avocados even, good quality Oj. But the Coffee was sludge and undrinkable. Though the View over Galway bay is beyond compare. Room was comfortable though dated but very clean except at one point in the shower I looked down to see a chunk of long black hair stuck to my foot⊠2000% not mine. That was pretty gross. It must have been sitting in the drain as Iâd have noticed before getting in. Cockroaches in the shower are a more welcome site than that.  Bathroom is modern and shower had good power. Bed was soft but comfortable. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. Pool is small, sauna is great. Pool not too clean/ Two discarded plasters on the side.  Location is unbeatable.
LLIM KEAN LITJust in the center of Galway, it is convenient to go anywhere. The breakfast is very rich. This 5-star hotel is really comfortable. It is simply awesome.
AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at The Galmont Hotel & Spa in Galway and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel's location is idealâjust a short walk from Eyre Square and the city centre, making it convenient for exploring local attractions and dining options.
The room was spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment for relaxation. The bed was particularly comfortable, contributing to a restful night's sleep.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's spa and leisure facilities. The indoor pool and thermal suite offered a great way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The staff were friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience.
Breakfast was satisfactory, with a decent selection of hot and cold items. However, I felt that the variety could be improved to cater to different dietary preferences.
Overall, The Galmont Hotel & Spa offers a comfortable stay with excellent amenities. I would recommend it to travellers seeking a convenient and relaxing hotel experience in Galway.
GGuest UserEven though it's a youth hostel, parking is available, and the Wi-Fi was fast. The bathroom was small but clean. The location was also good. We arrived at noon, too early for check-in, but they kindly allowed us to park our car in a designated spot. We went for lunch first, and then walked to the cathedral.
GGuest UserAmazing accomodation in Athenry. We booked this accomodation because it was a 20 minute train ride from Galway and the lodge was a very short walk from the train station. We really enjoyed being at the Lodge at the Old Barracks. The accomodation had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. But what was a true highlight was the breakfast at the cafe below (included with our booking) - the food was so delicious and better than any other hotel breakfast Iâve had. Would come back just for the breakfast!!Â
Small note, the floor above creaked when the people moved around the room above which was a bit of a disturbance early in the morning or at night.Â
But overall, would 10/10 recommend!

HH-ZiWeiThe hotel boasts an excellent location, situated at one end of the main street with the riverfront right on the other side. El Square is also just a pleasant walk away at the opposite end of the main street. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning wasn't cooling very effectively, but fortunately, the weather wasn't hot, so it wasn't a problem.
GGuest UserThe location is good, close to restaurants and supermarkets. I didnât like that so many things were broken. The shelf in the bathroom was loose and tilted, the wall lights next to the beds needed tightened as well, as they flipped on the side. The bathroom door handle and lock didnât work. We had some long dark hair in our room. A lot was broken or crooked.
It was ok for one night, but I wouldnât stay longer. The girl at the desk was not very knowledgeable regarding her surroundings. Iâve asked about the Burren.Â
The Italian restaurant was good, the breakfast in the morning was good as well. However I emailed the hotel for gluten free options but I didnât get any.
